What took Kath so long? My wolf is now pacing inside my head. There's something wrong here. I went inside the house as fast as possible and searched every room, even the kitchen, and the bathroom, but there was no sign of my mate.
'Tyler, I can't find Katharina and her scent is fading away. There's something wrong. Help me find her and tell Ramus and Sammuel.' I said through the link.
'What happened, Zeus?' Tyler.
'I can't answer you right now, but she's missing. I can't find her, her scent... it’s gone.' I said. Frustration and nervousness are starting to build up inside of me.
'Okay, I'll go tell her father and brother.' Tyler said before we ended our conversation.
I ran to Kath's room but she was also not there. I had almost left her room when I saw a note on her bed.
I told you that she would be mine. You let her out of your sight so I took her with me. She will be my mate, not yours. Stupid King. I'm the first one who saw her. She belongs to me.
Shit! He got her. I crumpled the paper and threw it away. He was there, he took my mate. But what the heck did he want from my mate and how come we didn't detect them? Surely, we could scent them.
After a few minutes, Alpha Ramus and Sammuel joined me in Kath's room. I let them see the note that I found on her bed.
"Who the hell is this?!" Ramus
"That's the Alpha of the Rogue," I said.
"How come he infiltrated my territory without me feeling it? Ramus.
"That's what I really want to ask you." I looked at him. "How did that rogue enter your territory without being felt or spotted?." I looked into their eyes and I think we both don't know the answer.
I wish that I had already marked her, so I could know where she is.
Ramus and her brother leave me and announce to everyone that my mate is missing.
'Zeus, we found a rogue and it wanted to talk to you.' Tyler.
Out of nowhere, I begin to shift because of madness, and hearing a rogue brings fury to my wolf. As soon as I shift, I run into the forest where they have found the rogue.
When I got there, I assessed the rogue and almost jumped to kill it, but I controlled myself. I need to know where my mate is first before I skin this rogue alive.
I shift back into my human form and Tyler throws a pair of shorts at me.
"So, the King has finally arrived." The rogue said.
"I tell you this, if you hurt my mate I'm going to cut you part by part and skin you alive," I said.
"Tsk tsk tsk! I think you are not in the position to threaten me. I'm just here to give you a message." The rogue said.
"And what message are you going to give me?" I asked.
"My Alpha would like you to know that the blue moon is coming, and as a tradition to the Royals, Kath will be fully mated with my master. He will make her his mate three days from now." The rogue.
Everything around me is getting darker and bloodier. Will he mark my mate? Will he get what is rightfully mine? My soulmate, a Moon Goddess gift? I'm going to kill him. "HOW DARE YOU!! I'm going to kill you!" I said. I grabbed him in the neck and pushed him to the ground.
"Go on kill me, my mission is already done. But don't you want to save her?" The rogue.
"What do you fuckin mean by that?!" I shouted.
"I want you to know that I don't like Alpha Duren's idea. Kath is my friend technically for two days before she manages to enter the Alurious pack." The rogue.
I studied him for a while. I need to know if he is telling the truth or not.
"Who are you and what are you talking about? I didn't know that Kath involved herself with rogues." I asked.
"Well, this will make me killed by Alpha Duren, but okay! That's life." Tyler helps him stand. "My name is Bill. I met your mate when she was still a rogue and looking for a pack. My friend Lily found her in the forest and they became friends as well. She brought her back to our camp and then Alpha Duren saw her potential and made her his fighter." He said.
"You mean you are living in the pack territory of Duren?" I asked. If he said yes, then I would be killing that filthy alpha.
"Sort of, but he is not our master. Our master doesn't know his plan. We heard Arman and Lukas talking about Kath and the plan of the Alpha Durento to kidnap her. I volunteer to be their messenger to warn you and to tell you that we will help you get her back in one condition." The rogue Bill said.
"What condition?"
"We would like to join a pack, me and my friends. We would like to change our lives. We really don't want to be a rogue but we have followed our master ever since he found us." Bill explained.
I look at him very carefully if he is telling the truth and sincere in his words. I found the truth in his eyes. I thought for a second, who can actually accept them in a pack since they are rogues? I was thinking about what pack I should talk to for them to live in until Alpha Ramus spoke.
"I can accept you in my pack if you promise to help us get my daughter back." Alpha Ramus.
Everyone is looking at him now. That was a tough decision to make but worthwhile for his daughter's life. I look at Sammuel and he also agrees with his father.
"That's great! There are five; two boys, including me, and three girls. We will be waiting for you at the borderline of Alpha Duren's pack by dawn tomorrow." Bill said.
"Wait, who is your master if it’s not Duren?" I need to know who this guy is. He seems peculiar to me.
He looks at me very carefully, I think he has an inside battle if he's going to tell me or not. "My master was not bad at all. He's just blinded with revenge, so he agrees to all Alpha Duren's plans. He wants revenge for what the royals did to him. But since I have already risked myself telling you everything, this is a big revelation, your Majesty. My master was your mother's, real mate." He said before turning his back and running into the woods.
I almost stumbled and fell down on his words. I thought my mother's mate was already dead because her father killed him. How would my mother react to this? And now that I remember my mom, I haven't seen my father after Kath wins in the battle.
I need to go back to the kingdom and talk to my parents about this. I need my fighters and we need a plan.
"Alpha Ramus gathered all your best fighters and meet me in the river tomorrow at dawn, like what Bill said. I will go back to the castle to prepare my fighters. I will see you there. Tyler! Get Candice, we are leaving now." I said before shifting back into my wolf and we all ran back into Alpha Ramus' packhouse.
