I slowly opened my eyes and looked around the room. Where the hell am I? I asked myself. Then the memories flashback into my mind.
I abruptly stood and looked around the room. Sh*t! That man kidnapped me. I didn't see him, but somehow his voice seemed so familiar. I said to myself. I ran to the door but it was locked. I looked around the room but it was isolated. No window or anything.
I need to leave this place, I need to find ways to escape. Suddenly, the door opened and the most unexpected person came inside and smirked at me.
"Your Majesty or may I say, my Luna is now awake." He said while smiling at me. That was the most devilish smile I have ever seen in my twenty-year existence in this world.
"A-Alpha Duren?" I said, not believing in what I saw. That will answer the familiarity of his voice. "H-How... W-Why?" I couldn't utter the right words to form a sentence.
"I can see that you don't expect to see me, Kath, you can't even create a sentence." He said while laughing.
"I can't absorb this kind of information right now, and you!!! Did you kidnap me? For what? and why?" I'm so confused about his motives.
"Let's just say that I want you to become my mate and the other reasons are not for me to tell." He said.
"Then who can tell me about this?! And what are you talking about? You can't be my mate, my mate is Zeus and you know that!" I said, looking straight into his eyes. My blood is boiling because of the threat to our bond with our mate.
"I know, but I don't care. I like you and your bloodline. It could create a powerful wolf in the near future. However, I'm still thinking about whether I will mate with you or let someone who lost his mate do that.." He said while walking towards me.
"Who are you talking about? Don't come near me," I warned him, but he didn't back away. Instead, he held me and pinned me to the wall.
"He is your mate?" He chuckles again while smelling and licking my neck where Zeus would put his mark "but you don't bear his mark. You're free to be claimed. I am very tempted. If it wasn't for my brother, I would mark you now." He said.
I feel disgusted being near to this abhorrent man.
I pushed him, giving him all my strength, but I couldn't feel her. I can't feel my wolf.
"What have you done to my wolf?" I pushed him but he didn't budge and let me go.
"Ah... your wolf... I just let her sleep by injecting her with some wolfsbane. She will be a pain in my ass if I let her free. Now, you have only got your own strength as a human, so that we can do whatever we want with you, especially this coming Blue Moon.
"You bastard!" I threw him everything I could touch. How dare he do this to me. "I will not let anyone of you mark me. Zeus is my mate and that will stay until I die. I won't let you touch me, I will kill myself before you can do that." I said, looking into the open door. That is my cue to run outside, but I need to teach this bastard a lesson.
"But you don't have a choice. Accept me and you will be treated nicely here," he said.
I slowly went to him and let him put his hand on my shoulder before I turned and brought my knees to his groin as hard as I could before I ran outside the room.
I can hear his screams. I smile inside and run as fast as I can to get away from that creep.
Doesn't he even know that I already have a mate and we are just waiting for the Blue moon to come to complete and do the mating ceremony?
I ran as fast as I could until I heard a lot of footsteps behind me. The guards are now trying to hold my arm, but because I am trained, they are having a hard time taking me down.
But all of a sudden, Justin showed up and held me down by giving me an uppercut.
"You think you can escape that easily, Katharina?" Justin said while holding my hands using only his one arm and the other one holding my neck.
"You monster, let me go," I said, trying to break his hold, but I failed. He is more powerful than me now because of his wolf strength.
"I can't. If I do, they will kill me, especially the master," he said.
"The hell I care about that master of yours. I swear if my wolf awakens, you will be dead." I said, trying to break his hold because it's hurting now.
"You know you can't beat me. Do you think you're superior now because you are supposed to be crowned as Queen? Well, I tell you this, he wants to see you now." Justin.
"Who?"
"My Master," he said before grabbing me by the hair.
How can they have a tunnel inside this packhouse? And what is waiting for me there? Zeus.... please help me! I said to myself.
I know he can't hear me, I am not yet marked. I'm scared that Duren or this Master will mark me. I don't like him and I swear, I'm going to kill myself before he can mark me.
There are torches on the wall that give light to this place. It's like I'm dragged into the underworld. The smell here is different and the longer I am here, the more my heart beats faster.
"What is this place?" I asked.
"This is my master's place. He has been staying here for almost twenty-five years, waiting for the perfect time to come out." He said.
He sounds like a lunatic.
I can smell rogues and they are plenty. A shiver rundown to my body.
"This is against our law. I can smell rogues here. You let them stay here with the protection of your pack? You’re a beta for Moon Goddess sake!" I said, feeling terribly disgusted at their doings.
"I don't care about the law or the moon goddess. They need to pay for what they have done to my cousin," he said.
"Cousin? You mean the master is your cousin?" I asked.
"Yes, and he is the eldest brother of Duren. He was the real Alpha of this land before those royals tried to kill him." He said.
"Kill him? But he is alive, right?" I said.
"He is alive, yes, but his heart is broken because of what they have done to him." He angrily said.
I can see a red room at the end of the hallway of this tunnel.
"But what does he want from me?"
"You will know when you see him," Justin said before opening the door and pushing me inside before locking it again and leaving me.
I fell, face first.
"Ouch! That was rude!" I said, pushing myself to stand while holding my nose until I heard a low chuckle. I looked around and was surprised that I was surrounded by red roses. The room itself is a manmade garden with a light in the middle pretending to be the sun that gives shine to the flowers. I am amazed by this creation.
"I can see that you like my mini rose garden, Katharina." A very thick full voice drags me out of the beauty of this place. I looked around and to my right side, I saw a man. I faced his back. That's why I can't see his face. He is making tea.
"Who are you?" I asked.
I can sense his power radiating inside the room. It took my curiosity. He is more powerful than Duren. I look at him from head to toe and, somehow, I can feel that I saw him before. I just can't remember when and where it was.
While thinking deeply, he then turned around and smiled at me.
"I am Markus Alurious, Alpha of the rogues," he said.
