I can hear her slow heartbeats and it scares the hell out of me. She saved me from that bullet which could possibly have killed me if it wasn't for her.
"Where is the healer!" I shouted inside the clinic.
An old lady makes her way. She asked what happened and I said that she had been shot by a silver bullet. She told me to stay outside the room because she needed space to do her work, but I refused to obey and stayed at my mate's side.
"This is bad, the silver bullet had poison inside, a wolfsbane." The Healer.
"Do something, I can't lose her," I said to her.
She was concentrating on getting the bullet out of Katharina's shoulder. "I will need to give her some of your blood my King, it will help her to heal faster and kill the poison inside of her." She said.
"Just do anything just to save my mate," I said.
I lay beside her and the healer started to get my blood and transferred it to Kath.
'Zeus, we caught her.' Tyler said, using the link.
'Her?'
'Yes, her, and you will be surprised if you find out who she is.' Tyler said.
'Okay, lock her in the dungeon. I will face that son of a bitch later.'
'Okay, how's Kath?' Tyler.
'I still don't know, but the healer is getting blood from me right now. The bullet was silver with poison inside. It makes her weak and has a slow healing process.' I said, looking into my mate.
'Okay, I will take care of this, then I will tell the Queen what happened and check you after.' Tyler said before cutting the link.
"She's okay now, but she needs to rest. I will take her to the recovery room and you can stay there, your Majesty. I don't know when she will wake up, but she's safe now." The healer
"Thank you," I said, and I followed her to Katharina's room.
She cleans her and her wounds and changes her clothes before she excuses herself and leaves us.
My wolf was whimpering inside of me. He wanted to go out and lick our mate but I said no to him. I told him that she needed to rest.
I will kill that girl who tried to kill me and my mate. I will skin her alive for doing this to her.
She saved me. I owe her my life. I looked at her beautiful face. Her perfect kissable lips. She looks like an angel sleeping in this hospital bed. I leaned forward and kissed her. I know, even if I didn't admit it, I already love this girl, I already love my mate. I fall for her easily.
I hope she wakes up before her birthday. I want to give her my gift. I want to see her smile again.
I texted her father a while ago and told them what happened here. He requested to meet the one who caused this to his daughter. I told him I would handle it but he told me he wanted to.
I just said yes to him since he's my mate's father. I don't want them to worry about their daughter, especially because she is living with me now.

After one day, her father and brother visited her but she was still unconscious. The healer told us that her body was still in the healing process and adjusting from the blood I gave her. She is recovering and needs some time before she wakes up.
"Where is that rogue who tried to kill my daughter?" Alpha Ramus
"The rogue was locked down in the dungeon," I said.
"Can I kill her?" his brother Sam asked.
"No. As of now, Tyler is busy getting information from that girl. We would like to know who was behind the attack." I explained.
"My daughter suffered a lot. I blame her for the death of my mate. I hurt her, not only physically but emotionally. I want to make it up to her. I want her to know how sorry I am, but she's hurt again. I don't know what to do now," Ramus said while looking at my mate.
'Zeus! The rogue killed herself. We found her lifeless body now.' Tyler.
'How can she do that? Her hands were chained.' I don't know but something wasn't right.
'I don't know either, but I will investigate for clues. I think this rogue was killed, not suicide.' He said before I dismissed him.
"The rogue we've caught was already dead. My beta informed me that the rogue killed herself. But for some reason, he thinks that someone killed her. He will investigate more." I said to his brother and father.
"I will help with your investigation, as of now, I want my daughter's safety first." Ramus.
"What do you mean?"
"I want my daughter back in our pack, I think it's not safe for her to stay here." Ramus.
"What?! You're taking my mate?" I said. My wolf was angry with this man.
'How dare he suggest that? SHE'S OUR MATE!' My wolf shouted in my head.
"Just for a while. Since we don't know who the traitor is in this place," he said directly to my eyes.
"No! You will not take my mate away from me and that's final," I said to him. He can't say no to the king and I don't want my wolf to hurt this man. Right now, he's on edge because he feels threatened.
"I didn't forget that you are my King, but if anything happens to her, you will be the one responsible for it." He said.
"King Zeus, can we stay here for the day? I want to look after my sister." Sam.
"Sure, you can. I will let someone give a room for you and your father." I said.
I looked into Katharina's face. I want to hear her voice again. The way she's getting jealous because of Candice, the way I kissed her and held her in my arms. This Alpha Rogue will surely pay for what he did to my beautiful mate. I will kill him and every single rogue he's with.

I sat beside her bed and held her hand. Sammuel and Alpha Ramus have already left us and are resting in their rooms. I touch her face and it really fits into my hands. The sound of her breath, and her heartbeat make me lose control. I miss her. I don't know that this is the feeling of having a mate. A girl that is destined to be with you for the rest of my life.
