Katharina's Point of view
We circle each other. Claws and teeth are showing while assessing each other. I know that if I lose this fight, this bitch in front of me will surely kill me. But I'm not going to give up. I will take revenge on my friend Ruby and I will teach this girl a lesson that she will never forget.
"You know that you can't win this, why don't you surrender and live?" Loui.
"I don't think that I will lose this fight, Loui. You're the one who should be scared now because I will kill you no matter what," I said to her.
"Zeus is mine as well as the crown," Loui said.
"Yours? I don't think so. If he's yours, why is there no mark on your neck?" I said, assessing her moves.
"Well, you need to start thinking now because I'm going to kill you." She threw me one of her daggers but I caught it in the air.
She ran to me and attacked me using her claws. No one is shifting to our wolf form yet. I catch and dodge her attack before it can damage my flesh.
I turned around and gave her a spinning kick. She fell on the ground but easily stood again and threw herself at me. She caught my arm and dug her claws into it, causing the blood to run down. I forgot that my arm was already injured a while ago.
I ignore the pain. All I want to do is ruin her pretty face before she can attack me again. I pull her closer to me and slowly, I put my claws on her face and scratch it. Though it will heal soon, it will still make her mad.
"You.. son of a b*tch! You will pay for this." She said, shifting into her wolf form.
I didn't waste any more time. I shift into my wolf too. Chocolate brown versus my white fur wolf with a black half-moon mark on the forehead. Everyone gasps in my wolf form.
Yes, I know that my wolf is like the moon Goddess, but I'm somehow different because I bear this half-moon mark on my forehead.
Let's go! I said to my wolf.
Loui's wolf takes advantage of us using her teeth that are now buried in my legs. Before she can do much damage, my other feet kick her side. She flew away from us and I took that opportunity to assess my energy. I don't know how long I can take this. I'm losing a lot of blood because of my injuries.
I can do this... I said once more to myself.
She tried to hit my back but I avoided her. She fell to the ground. I took advantage of her situation and bit her leg too while using my feet to control her feet and tried to bite her deeply.
My paws are now above her belly, touching it and scratching it. The animal inside of me is showing her animalistic side. She wants blood and she wants her life. A chunk of fur was removed when I pulled my mouth away.
I bit her neck waiting for her to surrender but she kept fighting. That's why I put more pressure on it. Blood is spilling from it but her stubbornness and pride keep her fighting. I have no choice but to kill her if she doesn't surrender.
The loss of blood caused her to lose consciousness and I moved away from her. I look into the King's eyes, his eyes are glowing gold again, and he's smiling at me now.
"The winner and our new Queen. Katharina Omnirous!" the announcer shouted.
The crowd applause erupted from the stadium. I look at my brother who is now running towards me, he's holding a shirt for me. I shift back into my human form in front of everyone, but my other pack members and friends are fast to cover my body. I hugged every one of them. Then my father came and looked at me. We stared at each other for a brief moment. No one is moving or leaving eye-to-eye contact. Tears came from him and he lost it. He hugged me very tightly and said sorry for what he had done to me. I hugged him back. I still love him despite all the pain he caused me. All I wanted was to hear his apology and now I received it. My dad's judgment and actions were just the results of losing my mother, his mate.
I keep thinking about this all this time. No matter what my father did, he is still my father and I love him. Some will not accept my decision to just forgive him, but as long as you love that person, every mistake is nothing compared to this moment; the way we hug each other and he whispers to my ears that he is sorry for all the things he did to me.
"Katharina." Alpha Duren interrupted us.
"Alpha Duren," I said slightly, bowing to my Alpha.
"Congratulations Katharina. I'm just happy that you have been part of my pack even for a short period only." He said, then hugged me.
"Thank you, Alpha Duren," I said. He smiled and left.
Something is wrong with him. I said to myself. He looks mad and disappointed.
More and more wolves congratulate me, but where is Zeus? Doesn’t he want me to win? I thought he told me that I needed to win, hmm that King is impossible.
"Sis, if you want to come back to us again, you are very much welcome." My brother said.
"Brother, you know that I need to be in here, right? I won and I need to do my job as the new Q-Queen now." Saying Queen is very awkward for me since I don't really want that title.
"Oh yes, I forgot. We need to leave now. If something happens here, don't hesitate to call us." He said, hugging me one more time.
I look at them while they're leaving the palace. Now, what am I supposed to do? I ask myself.
"Your Majesty, your presence is required in the King's bedroom," Beta Tyler said.
"King's bedroom? Why do I need to go there?" I asked.
"To tell you the truth, I don't know." He said, smiling.
"O-Okay." I followed him.
What will he do to me? Mark me? Mate with me? Wait, I'm not ready for that yet. I don't know if I really wanted this.
