I wait for Kath to come back after she changes her clothes. Even though she told me that it was her brother's shirt, my wolf couldn't stop pacing back and forth in my head, because another male's clothes were with his mate.
"If this is about the marking, then I will not talk to you. I'm still mad because of what you've done." She said, sitting on the far side of the bench I was sitting on.
I gave her the note that Tyler and I found.
"What's the meaning of his?" She asked.
"There is someone that's betraying the kingdom and he is now after you. I don't know his motives, but all I know is that he wanted to get you to get back to me." I explained.
"So, someone wants to kidnap me?"
"Yes. That is the reason why I decided for you to sleep in my room starting tomorrow. My wolf is getting anxious because we haven't mark you yet. I am also worried that someone might get you without me knowing."
"Wow wait! Am I going to sleep next to you? No way in hell." She said, standing, but I pulled her back to sit. I need her to understand how dangerous her life is right now.
"Understand this, you are in danger. I don't want my wolf to take you forcefully because he wants to mate with you right now. I've been trying to control him since day one. Please cooperate if you don't want to be marked forcefully." I said.
"So now this is my fault, Zeus?" she said, turning her back to me.
"I like the way you say my name," I said, pulling her closer to me more, but she pushed me away. "Just do this Kath, so we don't have problems. Also, starting tomorrow, you will start your training with me. I need to teach you more techniques to protect yourself if there's a war coming." I feel her stiffen. I think she's controlling herself not to give in to our now-growing mate bond.
"Training sounds good but not with you. I choose Tyler over you." She said.
My wolf became mad again after our mate chose Tyler to train her. This is why I hate the mate thing. This is driving me crazy.
This girl is testing my patience. I pulled and kissed her lips. I never thought that kissing my mate would bring this intense heat to my body. Her lips are so soft like marshmallows. I can taste the sweetness of her mouth. I felt that she was about to respond, but I pulled away before I did something that we would regret later.
"Don't test my patience, Katharina. Surely, I can take what I want, but I'm still controlling myself for the sake of making things right between us. Don't make this hard for either of us. My wolf is not a patient one," I said.
"If only you did what was right from the beginning, this thing wouldn't happen to us." She said, leaving me.

'Tyler! You will train Katharina.' I ordered.
'Why me? I thought it would be you?' Tyler.
'Change of plan. She doesn't want to train with me yet.' I said.
'Okay'. He replied.

Katharina's Point of View
I look around the field just to see my mate's glorified body exposed to the prying eyes of females around the training field. I can see some of them are drooling. Don't they know that he is mated to me now?
'You're not yet marked.' My wolf said.
What the hell?
He is just wearing sports shorts without a top. His eight packs are showing while his body is now glistening with sweat. Gracious Goddess, why did you create such a perfect guy as my mate?
"Hey, Kath! Don't just stand there. Come here and start stretching." Tyler shouted.
I walked to Tyler and tried not to look at my so-called mate. I can feel his gaze running through my body. This man would be the death of me if he didn't stop what he is doing right now.
"Do the stretching, then run for thirty minutes, then do one hundred push-ups for three repetitions," Tyler instructed.
"Okay," I said, not really paying attention to him. I was about to start my stretching when Zeus came and started his push-ups next to me. I can't concentrate on him half-naked.
"Zeus, can you put some shirt on?" I asked.
"Why? Don't you like my body?" Zeus
"No not that.... it's just.... distracting." I said. Surely, I am red like tomatoes.
"Why? Did you not see a man half-naked before?"
"I did but... you're different," I said.
He just smirks and winks at me. I stop bothering myself with this Greek god's body beside me and focus on my movements. I get faster and faster until I reach thirty minutes. I ran back to Tyler and started push-ups. After finishing one hundred push-ups, Tyler told me to prepare for sparing. He will fight with me. We will not use our wolf strength.
I look at Zeus, he is now busy entertaining the other girls in the field. Not paying attention to Tyler, he hit me in the butt.
"TYLER!" I was shocked by his actions.
"Pay attention, Katharina, if you keep yourself distracted, surely you will be dead by now." He said.
"Don't do that again. That's inappropriate for me, I'm still a girl." I said.
"In this ring, you are not a girl or a kid or an elder or the soon-to-be crowned queen. We are equal, so act normal," he said.
I try to kick him in the ass but he grabs my feet and, with no hesitation, he flips me. I silently whisper in pain. I can feel Zeus gaze at me again but I ignore it. I need to focus on Tyler's attacks or I will surely wake up in the clinic later.
"That's right, full attention Katharina." He said while throwing punches at me. Some of his punches were easy to dodge but some of them hit me quite badly.
"You need to practice your movements more, Kath. Your human body is not that fast enough to avoid my attacks. You're like punching a pumpkin." Tyler.
"I'm just warming up Tyler," I said, smirking.
All this time, I am just assessing his moves and mastering his movements and strength, trying to find his weak spot. It took me thirty minutes before I discovered the weakness in his attack.
I jumped at him and held his neck while wrapping my feet in his back. If you look at us you will think that we are doing piggy bank but we're not. I hold him in this position and try to choke him, but he is stronger than me, that's why he easily takes me off his back. But before he could advance towards me, I kicked him in his left leg and punched him in the face, left and right.
"I told you, I'm just warming up."
Licking my lips, I started to move forward. I attacked him and we exchanged punches with each other but we did nothing to hurt any of us. I pulled him closer to me and I used my knee and took it to his stomach. He didn't anticipate moves and he lost his balance and keeled on the floor.
"That's good Kath."
I was about to help him up but my eyes darted to my mate who was now holding someone in his hand. It seemed like the girl fell and fell into my mate's hand. They looked at each other and the girl giggled at the words he said.
Flirting in front of me? That's bad. I can do much better than that, mate.
I looked at Tyler and helped him stand, but I acted like I was out of balance and fell above him. I looked at him in the eyes and winked.
"What are you doing Kath?" He asked curiously.
"He is flirting with that girl, that's why I'm returning the favor," I said, and I pulled him, putting him above me.
"We're surely dead, Kath," he said nervously.
I pushed him again and positioned myself on top of him. I pushed his hands upward while whispering to him. "This is for sure will kill us both. Ready Tyl---" but before I couldn't finish my words because someone grabbed me and picked me up.
"WHAT THE HELL IS HAPPENING HERE?!" He shouted. Everyone stops doing what they are doing and looks at us.
"Training, what do you think?!" I said back to him.
"It doesn't look like that, Katharina." He said, looking directly into my eyes.
"Well, if you think that way, then fine! I don't need to explain myself to you, after all, you're doing the same with other girls, right?" I said.
"The King is just talking to us. No need to be jealous." The girl he was with a while ago responded.
I looked at her and raised my middle finger. "I swear if you open your mouth again, you'll be dead," I said before turning to Zeus again. He was looking at Tyler who was now standing there scratching his neck. "And you! If you're going to flirt in front of me, then I'm leaving this place. I don't want to watch those stupid girls flirting with you in front of me." I said before turning my back and leaving the field. I heard him call my name but I was too stubborn to go back.
Blast him! He is so freaking flirt.
