THE ROGUE ALPHA’S PREY
He had been on the road for three days now, he was angry at being forced to go to all this trouble to reclaim what was rightfully his, why did his little unwilling mate have to so dam stubborn
Still, he had spent the journey with pleasant memories of his time with that traitor the trainer in the dungeon right before he departed. Where he inflicted his every sick fantasy on his soft flesh becoming aroused by his screams of pain. He was going to allow himself the ultimate pleasure of seeing the light fade from his prisoner's eyes as he killed him but in a last-minute stroke of genius, he decided to keep the traitor alive.... for now.
He would use his worthless life as a threat to make his unwilling little mate co-operate and allow him to perform the mating ceremony and unbeknown to her the Immortality spell and binding spell - then he will kill the trainer or perhaps he will force his mate too The Rogue Alpha smirked cruelly at the thought.
He knew they were close to his mate's last seen location as they approached the board to the land of the pack that harbored her- the feared Blood Fang Pack led by their legendary Alpha the Demon Alpha.
He, however, didn't fear them although admittedly his army was not as strong he had magic and could use it to mask their scents so they could lay low until the right moment when they will sneak into the pack's land and use his cunning to take back his mate.
The Rogue Alpha had just finished masking their scent and he looked over the satellite images he had gathered in their reconnaissance searching for the best spot to lay low, "Over there " he said pinpointing a location and showing it to his Beta.
"We will move to that location within the red forest and use that ground to camouflage ourselves into the surroundings, select six of our stealthiest and strongest warriors and have them memorize the pack's residential housing area and the inside of the pack house's layout and have them ready by midnight to join me on a scouting party. The rest of them get them to lay low and wait on my commands." The Rogue Alpha ordered his Beta as he walked ahead to the selected spot fantasizing about his joyous reunion with his mate.
"I'm coming, Isabelle. And very soon pet you will be mine... body, heart, and soul for eternity," he chuckled to himself staring threw the trees of the forest in the direction of the packhouse where he assumed his little mate was hiding.
Isabelle was startled awake as a shiver ran down her spine despite her being held in the tight embrace of her loving mate. How odd she thought.
She tried to shake the feeling of unease aside and focus on the wonderful memories of their recent passion-fuelled lovemaking instead.
She had no regrets about finally making their relationship official by mating and marking each other but something was causing her wolf to be unsettled and despite her efforts, the feeling of unease crept back and her wolf growled a small warning as if telling her to be vigilant. Vigilant of what She wondered as her mate's arm tightened around her waist distracting her from her thoughts and he snuggled in closer inhaling her scent.
"Good—ermm, evening love," Jake said looking at the alarm clock on the bedside table.
"Good evening to you too..." Isabelle whispered seductively in reply as she rolled around to face him.
" Are you ok? I didn't hurt you...or scare you, did I?" Jake asked as he stroked a stray strand of her silky hair from her eyes and rubbed his hand up and down her back lovingly.
" Yes I am...wonderful and no you didn't I have never felt happier." Isabelle smiled as she leaned in and kissed him passionately to prove her point.
Their kiss was rudely interrupted by Isabelle's empty stomach which growled in protest.
"Right love before we continue down that lusty path we had better get you fed, you will need your energy for later tonight my lusty and sexy little mate." Jake winked as he rolled from the bed before she tempted him to stay in it and ravish her all night long.
"Lusty and sexy is it I am pretty hungry and you better eat too for I plan on making love with you all night long." Isabelle winked in return as she leisurely stretched.
"I will hold you to that mate, but for down let’s get dinner sorted. The packed meal will be served in 30 minutes if you wanted to join the pack in the great hall or if you would rather not face Carl's teasing so soon when he sees our marks we can order up from the kitchen and get the maids to deliver dinner here"
"I am more nervous about facing the pack and Carl's jesting when they see my mark than I was about fighting the warriors..." Isabelle giggled " But if we stay here in this bedroom together I doubt whether we will get round to eating... and I will have to face them sometime so let's get it over with." Isabelle said as she rolled out of bed displaying her womanly curves in their full naked glory.
"Wise decision Mate..." Jake replied hoarsely his voice deep with lust as his gaze took in her beauty.
"I am just going to shower and freshen up quickly...care to join me?" Isabelle smiled seductively over her shoulder noticing her mate's lingering lust-filled gaze.
"Oh, you read my mind," Jake said as he with Alpha speed ran towards her and scooped up his giggling mate carrying her bridal style towards the bathroom where they would have the steamiest shower of their lives.
The pack was seated in the great hall waiting on their Alpha's their hungry stomachs growled in protest dinner was meant to be served 10 minutes ago but just as they were seated waiting on the kitchen maids bringing out their food the maids had informed them dinner would be slightly late as their Alpha Jake had mind-linked them to tell them both Alpha's would be joining them shortly but were delayed.
The Blood Fang Pack members sat grumpily waiting on dinner but as they heard their Alpha's footsteps coming down the stairs their grumpiness turned quickly to amusement as they looked up and took in their Alpha's appearances.
Isabelle was wearing a red sundress that although innocent-looking was suspiciously crumpled around the waist as if someone had hiked it up and held it there, her hair was damp still at the ends like she had rushed out of the shower and her porcelain face displayed a deep rosy blush on her cheeks. Jake wasn't much better presented, his hair too was still damp, his shirt was miss buttoned like it had been buttoned up in a hurry and amusingly the zip of his jeans was undone. The biggest clue of what delayed their Alpha's however was the large bite mark displayed proudly on both of their necks and the fact their scent as they passed the pack members closer was no longer that of two individual werewolves’ but that of a mated pair.
When they were finally center staged about to sit Carl stood up and shouted "let’s hear it for our Alpha's who apparently has made it official..." the pack member broke into a chorus of excited shouts and howls.
When the noise finally settled down Carl continued " it's excellent news and we are happy for you both, despite the timing delaying our dinner..." the pack broke out in chuckles and Isabelle's blush deepened " Alpha Isabelle welcome officially to our pack" Carl shouted and the pack once again burst into a cheerful shout.
"And might I say what a pretty looking mark it is you have..." at that Carl's mate Ariania yanked Carl's t-shirt pulling him into his seat " Sit down you fool you have embarrassed the poor girl enough for one night and the pack is waiting on their food shut up and let them eat," Isabelle looked at Ariana gratefully and the pack chuckled.
The kitchen maids with Jake's signal bought out the packs dinner and they ate their dinner and talked happily amongst themselves then after the meal they moved into the ballroom to drink and celebrate Isabelle officially becoming a pack member.
After a few hours, Isabelle and Jake managed to sneak away from the pack and ran back to Isabelle's room whereas promised Jake spent the rest of the night ravishing her long into the night until the early morning.
Both were finally asleep after hours of hot passionate sex and they slept in each other loving safe embrace completely unaware of just how unsafe it actually was as the Rogue Alpha roamed the streets just outside the packhouse.
