HAPPILY EVER AFTER?
They had spent the rest of the day strolling romantically in the beautiful gardens that's beauty reminded Isabelle of the restaurant Jake had taken her to on their first date, so much had happened since then but Isabelle was confident that now the Rogue Alpha was dead the future would be an happy and peaceful one for her and Jake.
Isabelle looked forward to enjoying the simple things in life with her mate such as cooking together ( if she learnt to cook first that is), enjoying lazy Sunday afternoon's together, decorating the pack house together, raising pups together and training together she also couldn't wait for their bonding ceremony Jake had promised would be held the very night they arrived home, as he too couldn't wait to be officially bonded to the love of his life forever, right now however they had to get ready for the gathering at 7pm and that's exactly what they were rushing around doing after losing track of time in the gardens and only making it to their room to start getting ready at 6.30pm.
After a mad rush both Jake and Isabelle were dressed and looking presentable.
Jake was wearing a grey suit and a black silk slim tie and Isabelle wore a floor length silver silk dress that although sleeveless Mable had thoughtfully designed a beautiful matching silver lace cape to wear on top that had sliver silk cuffs to hide the silver burns on Isabelle's wrists and came with a beautiful thick silver silk choker that was encrusted with diamonds to cover the scars on Isabelle's neck.
Isabelle and Jake were mingling with everyone present ( every one apart from Mable and Mike who had kept his promise to his beautiful bossy mate and stayed in bed resting ) after half an hour of chatting with the Blood Fang Pack members who were eager to check on the welfare of their Alpha Jake and tell Isabelle how relieved they were she was okay and how proud they were of her, as well as chatting with several members of the Royal army and Midnight Moon pack who were keen to meet Isabelle, the famous slayer of the Rogue Alpha and thank her also for saving the kingdom.
Isabelle was feeling so over whelmed but happy by all the kindest everyone had showed her, she had spent the majority of her life living in fear and misery as the Rogue Alpha's captive and now she was finally free to enjoy everything life had to offer and she finally had family, friends and love in her live with Jake the most prefect mate she could ever ask for.
Just as Isabelle was enjoying the laughter and happiness of her new friends around her and thinking how lucky she was when the King and Queen appeared on stage and the room fell silent as they turned and gave the powerful couple their full attention and admired the beautiful queen.
The Queen was wearing a stunning black silk, strapless ball gown that was encrusted with dark Sapphires on the corseted top half to match her raven hair with natural tones of blue highlights she was mesmerising and the King showed he thought so as he looked at her lovingly before he took the centre stage to make an announcement.
" Werewolf's and She-Wolf's, I thank you for coming tonight you all look magnificent. You must all be wondering why we asked you to gather here tonight and to dress up for the occasion, well we are here for a celebration and the reason for our celebration... is you Alpha Isabelle. Please join me and my beautiful mate on the stag."Isabelle gasped in shock and everyone gathered turned to look at her smiling at her proudly. They cleared a path for her towards the stage, which after a gentle nudge out of her shock from Jake Isabelle slowly began to walk down.
The King took Isabelle's hand and kissed it in respect as he greeted her and led her towards the centre of the stage." Alpha Isabelle, we are all gathered here tonight to officially thank you for your bravery and Courage in defeating the biggest threat to our Kingdom the Rogue Alpha. The Rogue Alpha's cruelty and evil deeds spread through out the kingdom for too long, he and his Rogue followers inflicted misery, pain and death on innocent victims and sadly no one knows this better than you Alpha Isabelle. However despite all of the cruelty and horrors you have faced in your short young life so far, you have matured into a kind She-Wolf, a loyal friend a loving mate, a fierce warrior and a strong Alpha your pack can be proud of. All of these traits my Queen and I believe are qualities that make you and exceptional She- Wolf and deserving of the reward we are about to bestow upon you. "The King mind- linked one of his Beta's who came onto the stage carrying a gold diamond encrusted box.
" I will allow my Queen the honour of bestowing this reward on you, my Queen." The King handed the box to the Queen and she stepped forward smiling at her friend.
" I asked for the honour of bestowing this on you not just for your heroic act of ridding the Kingdom of the Rogue Alpha but for your heroic act of saving my mates life, that is a deed I can never reward you enough for. " The Queen smiled at Isabelle proudly who by now had began to cry small tears of joy.
" The King and I reward you Alpha Isabelle the title of Co Protector of the Realm alongside your mate Jake, in acknowledgement of your bravery and your potential as possibly the greatest warrior the realm may have seen. " The Queen announced pinning an exact copy of Jake protector of the realm brooch, made out of real gold onto Isabelle's dress and as Isabelle looked at her friend the Queen speechless in gratitude the room burst into a loud applause.
" We thank you Alpha Isabelle Lady protector of the realm for your service to the King, myself and your Kingdom. One more thing however...." The Queen reached up and pulled a cord and suddenly the ceiling parted and balloons marked with 18 fell from it as the five Royal guards walked in carrying the largest cake Isabelle had ever seen that had a giant 18 on the top of its 50 large layers and everyone burst out singing happy birthday.
Once everyone had finished the song and cheers and Isabelle had blew out the candles of her ridiculously over sized cake the Queen hugged her tightly and wiped away her tears of joy. " Happy Birthday Isabelle, it's belated considering the circumstances but we had to celebrate the important occasion now go and enjoy your party! " Isabelle was so happy she grabbed the Queen and King and kissed them both on the cheeks in excitement beforeshe ran off the stage into the loving arms of her proud mate.
" Did you know! " Isabelle demanded.
" I knew they planned something but I didn't know what, congratulations my love. I am so proud of you as I am sure your family would be too, you have matured into a beautiful, graceful She-Wolf and a strong capable warrior, it sounds like from the memories you shared with me you have the best qualities from both your parents and I love you." Jake said proudly.
" I love you too Jake and thank you, your words mean so much to me."
Isabelle and Jake's romantic moment was as predicted interrupted by Carl who grabbed Isabelle and spun her around excitedly before he kissed her enthusiastically on the cheek shouting his congratulations at her before he excitedly pulled her onto the dance floor to party.
Isabelle and Jake spent the rest of the night partying the night way alongside old friends and new friends until the early hours of the morning.
Isabelle Jake and the Blood Fang pack had arrived home on Blood Fang Pack lands after saying their goodbyes to everyone yesterday morning and promising to visit soon. It was late afternoon the time they arrived and Jake had ordered everyone to eat quickly then rest in preparation for the bonding ceremony of him and Isabelle that would happen that night as he promised.
The night came quickly and Isabelle was sitting at her Marble dressing table checking over her appearance one last time when there was a knock at her bedroom door.
" Come in." Isabelle replied and Mable entered with Mike by her side both looking refreshed and well groomed despite spending the afternoon running around organising the ceremony.
" You look beautiful! " Mable gushed as she ran to Isabelle and pulled her from her seat into a tight motherly hug.
" Yes you really do, I am so proud of you and happy for you Isabelle you deserve this day to be magical. " Mike said for once not bothering to hide his emotions.
" Thank you both, you look magnificent too and it's so lovely too see you both, I was feeling a little nervous before you came to be honest. " Isabelle admitted shyly.
" We thought you might be love, it's why we are here actually. " Mike said.
" Yes, it's perfectly normal for mates to feel nervous on the day of their mating ceremony and traditionally the She-Wolf's parents collect her and walk her to the ceremonial ground, we know sadly your parents aren't here to share this moment with you and support you... " Mable said.
" And we would never dream of trying to replace them... no one can ever do that. " Mike said
" But we would like too if you'll have us walk by your side in support We love you like a daughter Isabelle and are so proud of you. " Mable finished and her and Mike had tears of pride slipping from their eyes as they looked at the beautiful and strong She-Wolf in front of them waiting on her answer.
" I can't think of two people I would like by my side more in place of my parents, I love you both and look up to you as a Mother and Father figure. Thank you for everything you have both done for me and for supporting me." Isabelle grabbed them both and the three of them were huddled in a tight embrace for a good few minutes before Mike broke the hug.
" Right you two you're turning me soft with all these emotional declarations, come on let's go or we will be late " He held out his arm for Isabelle and Mable and they took an arm each giggling about his manly facade.
Jake was stood on the ceremonial ground that Mable had ordered pack members to decorate beautifully.
Over hanging autumn trees that's leaves were vivid with an array of autumn colours were filled with fairy lights, tea lights and flower petal were scattered down the centre of the ground making a natural path to the alter and pack members stood each side of the path way all waiting excitedly for their beautiful Female Alpha to arrive and she didn't disappoint as arrived bang on time.
Isabelle made her way towards the pack members who had gathered to celebrate her and her mates bond.
The ceremonial ground was decorated simply but beautifully and the autumn leaves and beautiful forest reminded her of the forest on The Golden Moon lands she had spent most of her time in and made many memories in as a child. As she looked around at the smiling and welcoming faces of her new pack members Isabelle realised she felt equally as at home here with them as she did back in her childhood home and she felt so incredibly lucky.
She walked down the aisle and finally her mate came into view.
Jake was starring at Isabelle with his mouth wide open shocked at her angelic beauty. Isabelle's hair had been curled and intertwined with white roses and precious pearls and diamonds sown onto strings of white silk and she was wearing a floor length gold silk dress that was backless and cut low to near her navel and the middle section was replaced with gold lace with Pearls and diamonds sown on it.
She seemed to gracefully float down the aisle like a golden angel and she exuded an aura of pure joy Jake noticed as she stopped in front of him. Mable and Mike kissed her either side of her cheeks before turning to join the pat members.
" You look so beautiful Isabelle...I... I am very lucky to have you as my mate." Jake finally managed to say as he took her hand and kissed it lovingly.
" Thank you, you look very handsome I am lucky too." Isabelle replied with a blush as her eyes roamed her handsome mate who was wearing a black tuxedo and gold silk tie to match her dress.
" If you two lovers are done... shall we," Carl chuckled as he smiled at his two Alpha's and friends happy they had found each other and that they were finally getting the happy ending they deserved.
" Blood Fang Pack members we are gathered here under the stars and moon to celebrate the union of our two Alphas Isabelle and Jake. We give thanks to the Moon Goddess for blessing them with a mate and us with two Alphas we are proud to claim as ours. It is clear to all present that the Moon Goddess has blessed them both with a perfect mate who completes them and is their equal in every way. Before we start the ceremony Alpha Jake would like to a quick few words... Jakey. " Carl said stepping aside and giving Jake the centre stage.
" Thank you everyone for gathering to support us and bless our union, as Carl said I have a few quick things to say before the ceremony and don't worry I will make it quick as I know your all looking forward to the wonderfully Moon feast Mable has organised, I too can smell the food from here and it smells almost as ravishing as my mate looks. " The pack members burst into fits of giggles and Isabelle smiled warmly at Jake reaching out to hold his hand.
" Isabelle since coming into my life youhave bought back happiness and joy into itand I believe have made me a better Alpha and Werewolf, I love you. " All the She-Wolfs in the pack began to coo and Isabelle mouthed I love you too to Jake in response. " I know you've lived a hard life up until now but I promise you, you will always be loved and respected by me and every member of this pack and I thank the Moon Goddess she blessed me with some one as beautiful and strong as you, I promise I will work hard everyday of our lives to ensure you have the happy future you deserve. " Jake turned to Carl and he handed him a plain gold box.
"To start us on the path of a happy futurei have two gifts for you, that will symbolise how I want us to move towards our happy future - as equals. The first is this..." Jake handed Isabelle the box and she opened it and gasped.
" How did you..." Isabelle asked as she covered her mouth with one hand to stop sobs of joy escaping and cradled the box with it's precious contents in it with the other.
Inside the gold box was the Golden Moon packs bonding bowl and ceremonial dagger.
" A packs bonding bowl and ceremonial dagger are passed down from generation to generation and used by the Alpha of the pack at their mating ceremony. Since we unconventionally have two Alpha's here I thought it would be fitting if we used both my family's sacred mating objects and Isabelle's so I requested Isabelle's family's bonding bowl and ceremonial dagger from the King who kept them in memory of the Golden Moon pack, and we will use both the Golden Moon's and Blood Fang's bonding bowl and ceremonial dagger today to symbolise our equality. " Jake informed Isabelle and the rest of the pack.
Isabelle smiled at him. " Oh Jake.... thank you, that's so incredibly kind and romantic of you I love you too." She said as she pulled him into a deep romantic kiss and the pack broke out in a loud cheer.
Their passionate kiss lasted several minutes and the pack continue cheering happy for their two Alpha's, their kiss was eventually broken by Carl's interruption.
"Right you two you we need to complete the ceremony before sunrise and the way you two are acting you should spend the whole night under the stars making out, so let's get on with it what's the other gift Jakey."
"Thanks Carl, the other gift I have is also a symbol of our equality and a symbol of how much we as a pack love you and that we welcome you into our family, from now on the Blood Fang pack shall be know as the Blood Moon pack." Isabelle threw her arms around Jake and cried tears of joy onto his chest, she was so incredibly touch he would not only honour her but remember her fallen pack by merging their pack names.
" Welcome to your new family Isabelle. " Jake said as he stroked her hair lovingly and the pack broke out into a loud chant of “welcome to the family," following their Alpha's lead.
The ceremony went smoothly and after they had given their blood oath to love and protect one and other for the rest of their life's and their blood sacrifice of two drops of blood spilt from the bonding bowl onto a statue of the Moon Goddess as a token of gratitude to the Goddess for their mate Jake and Isabelle lead the newly name Blood Moon pack to the training field that had been beautifully redecorated to host a feast and they all ate toasted to their Alpha's and then partied the night away looking forward to a bright and happy future, before Jake sneaked Isabelle away just before sunset to make passionate love to her right through until late morning.
As Isabelle, Jake and the Blood Moon pack members were going through the traditional mating ceremony at the other side of the Kingdom Damien who was now fully healed and the two Rogues, who thanks to choosing to serve the Dark King were still blessed with the ability to cloak themselves and were anxiously waiting for the next part of the plan so they could gain access to more power from their master had just killed the last of the solider's who guarded the mystical gates of life.
Damien opened the tightly sealed container and carefully took out the arrow that was covered in King Soreen's dried blood, although there was enough blood on the arrow to rise King Cian from his prison Damien was unsure if it would work due to the fact the blood was dried so all he could do as he placed the arrow on the alter before the two large marble gates was wait.
After a few minutes as the dark clouds cleared the blood moon appeared and it's eerie light shined down on the arrow.
Suddenly a strong gust of wind appeared out of nowhere and the ground began to tremble as the large marble gates suddenly smashed to pieces as if they were struck by invisible lightning and a thick black smoke appeared between where the two marble gates once stood.
As Damien fell to his knees on the ground in disappointment the smoke vanished as quickly as it appeared and in it's place stood a dark figure who bellowed with a frightening and powerful voice, " I thank you my loyal followers for freeing me from my prison, I King Cian walk the earth once again and as soon as I have my strength back vengeance shall be mine and you my followers, shall be rewarded for your loyalty with unimaginable power and riches. "
