MAKING FRIENDS
Isabelle had woken with a terrible dry mouth, looking down at her pillow and noticing her pillow was soaking and she was lying in a huge puddle of drool - how embarrassing She must have been snoring, she hadn't slept peacefully enough to snore since she was a child and as nice as it was to realize she felt so at home here already to sleep well like a babe she hoped it was not a new sleeping habit that would hardly be a sexy sight to greet her mate, oh Moon Goddess her mate... she was meant to be spending the day with him
She looked at the clock it was 11.30 am She threw the covers off in a frenzy and ran to the bathroom to shower and get ready she had kept him waiting long enough
As she exited the shower and wrapped her long hair and curvy body in a towel she heard a knock on her bedroom door followed by a few minutes later a familiar voice "Only me deary with brunch and here to assist you if needed." Mable shouted in a friendly town as she walked into the room placing the gold tray she was carrying onto Isabelle's dressing table...
"Good morning Mable" Isabelle replied cheerfully exiting the bathroom wrapped in a fluffy dressing gown. " I fear I slept in and have kept the Alpha waiting I don't want to annoy him by delaying him further so your help would be appreciated." Isabelle smiled warmly.
" Oh love I doubt you could ever annoy him, I have never seen a werewolf so lovesick as he is you have his complete devotion already." Mable smiled pulling out the gold stool and indicating for Isabelle to sit and eat whilst she dried her hair.
Isabelle sat and began picking at the fruit and french toast on the tray she turned to her left to pour herself and Mable some coffee and found a note addressed to her curious she opened it and read its contents " Dearest Isabelle, I came to collect you this morning as promised but you were sleeping so soundly I didn't want to wake you. Rest love and I will send brunch up later on and when you are ready come and get me in the Alpha office and we can go out for the day. I love you my beautiful snoring mate xxx" Isabelle couldn't help but grin at the note then burst into laughter at the last bit of the note. When Mable looked at her questionably Isabelle shared the note with her and both females burst into laughter as Mable continued to get Isabelle ready.
Isabelle was finally ready and made her way down the corridor a pack member she had bumped into had informed her that the Alpha office was located at the end. When she reached the office door Isabelle gasped looking at the door.
On the frosted glass door was written in gold lettering 'MR and MRS ALPHA'S OFFICE'.
"Do you like it? It's temporary of course until we can build you your own Alpha office exactly how you want it as you deserve for now we will have to share but I thought we might as well make your Alpha title official right away even if you don't have your own office yet." Jake asked Isabelle as he wrapped his arms around her waist and kissed her on the cheek.
"Oh, Jake its wonderful And so thoughtful thank you so much!" Isabelle shrieked as she spun and wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him excitedly on the lips.
"I am glad you approve MRS Alpha, oh, and good morning you look beautiful as always." Jake smiled admiring the floral scent of her clean shiny hair.
"Good morning to you too Mr. Alpha, I didn't know what we were doing today apart from shopping so I went for a smart casual dress code I hope that is ok," Isabelle asked nervously as she looked over her ensemble of an emerald green thin-strapped cotton skater dress, black leather jacket and black converses.
"You always look beautiful in whatever you wear my love, if your ready though shall we go The mall is about an hour drive away." Jake smiled at Isabelle lovingly as she blushed at his compliment and when she nodded he held out his hand and when she placed hers in his he led her to garage and they began their drive to the mall.
Their drive to the mall had gone quickly they had spent the hour asking each other all sorts of questions to get to know each other better. Isabelle and Jake exited the car and were in the elevator Isabelle suddenly felt frightened, it was silly but apart from Jake and his pack who she felt safe with she had never been around anyone apart from the Rogue pack since she was a child and she knew they meant her harm, the thought of being in a crowded mall around either humans who she had never met before or around lots of strange werewolf's from neighbouring packs made her feel nervous. She wasn't sure she was ready for such a big step but before she could talk to Jake about her feelings the elevator doors pinged open and Isabelle squeezed her eyes shut in fear and waited.
Jake led her out the elevator and Isabelle followed her eyes still squeezed shut but after a few minutes she noticed the mall was deadly silent and there was no scent of humans or of werewolf's from other packs only Blood Fang Pack members, both were very odd for a Friday afternoon. Isabelle noticed Jake had stopped walking and she could feel his gaze on her. Not sensing any danger she opened her eyes slowly.
The mall was deserted apart from the shop assistants standing in the store entrance ways smiling warmly, the food court staff, her, Jake and their bodyguards there was no one else in the mall. Isabelle looked at Jake questionably.
" I wanted you to enjoy today and feel safe I thought it might have been a bit much for you with busy crowds so I shut the mall so we could shop privately." Jake explained.
"You shut it " Isabelle asked confused.
" Yes, this is one of the Blood Fangs packs malls, we own the two in this county since they are on Blood Fang Territory and we own 60% of 32 other malls across the country that are on our allies land its a good investment for us and a good opportunity for our allies from smaller packs to build who couldn't afford to own or run a mall on their own to make money as well."
"You own 35 malls! Wow what else do you own," Isabelle asked gob smacked.
"WE OWN... since you are my mate and the packs co Alpha, WE OWN... several businesses across the country which the same partnership with other smaller packs across the country such as... a cinema chain with 68 cinemas, a gym chain with 147 gyms, a hotel chain with 279 hotels across the country and 643 internationally, we also exclusively own international businesses that are on human land such as an airline, holiday resorts, a few restaurant chains, hairdressers, beauty parlours and a few designer clothing lines," Jake said proudly
"Wow, I mean I knew the pack was well off as the pack house is the size of a mansion and every pack member lives comfortably but I had no idea...you must be a millionaire" Isabelle whispered in awe
"Actually the businesses generate trillions a year but with taxes, our donations to charity and ensuring every pack member gets a fair income and paying our allies their profits we are billionaires Isabelle." Isabelle was stunned her mate was a billionaire and her new pack were not only the strongest pack in the kingdom but the richest too, she must really prove herself to them now and become the strong co-Alpha a pack of their reputation deserved she will start first thing tomorrow with her training but for now she thought about her mate. He was strong Loving, Kind and thoughtful - he shut the whole mall just to make her feel comfortable she would need to buy him a present to say thank you.
"So since this is your mall you can have anything you want in any store, where would you like to shop first" Jake asked taking Isabelle out of her day dream.
" Sports clothes please, I need more for training starting from tomorrow and normal clothes too I guess." Isabelle responded shyly. Jake smiled at her lovingly and took her hand leading her towards the nearest clothing shop.
Isabelle looked around the store in awe the flooring was black marble and in front of her were lots of beautiful designer bags and expensive looking dresses, before she could turn to Jake to tell him these clothes were beautiful but not what she was comfortable in a short she-wolf pounced on her wrapping her arms excitedly around her in a tight embrace and squealed excitedly in her ear " LUNA! oh I’m so sorry I mean Mrs Alpha forgive me it’s...new calling the female pack leader Alpha it will take getting used to, there was no disrespect intended I ensure you. Thank you so much for choosing to visit my store it’s my pleasure to serve you Luna... I mean Mrs Alpha." the she-wolf dropped into a graceful dramatic curtsy.
"For Moon Goddess sake Ariana calm down let my poor mate get a word in will you" Jake chuckled.
"Sorry, Jakey, I am..." Ariana was interrupted by a loud growl from Isabelle who upon hearing this unknown she-wolf refer to her mate so intimately couldn't hide her jealously and her wolf took over clearly vocalising their claim on Jake. Jake raised his eyebrows at Isabelle and smiled amused and Ariana giggled.
" Don't worry Mrs Alpha, I call YOUR MATE Jakey as it is the nickname my mate Carl refers to him as." Ariana smiled warmly at Isabelle and linked her arm in hers.
"You’re Carl the Beta’s mate. Oh, I am sorry I thought... " Isabelle blushed.
" Yes, we known what you meant your claim came across loud and clear Mrs Alpha and don't apologise it's good to know our Lun... sorry, female Alpha isn't just a pretty face but it though too" Ariania giggled and smiled warmly. "Now why don't we she-wolfs go and sort out your new wardrobe and have a gossip to get to know each other and leave Jake to do any shopping he may have and you two love sick pups can meet up again later"
Jake looked at Isabelle to check she was comfortable with Ariana's suggestion. " Sure sounds good to me." Isabelle smiled she was beginning to like Ariana now she knew she wasn't interested in her mate. Her aura was kind and she had an infectious bubbly personality that made it hard not to warm to her. Isabelle had never had a female friend before but she felt Ariana may just be her first.
" Ok then if your comfortable with that suggestion not that Ariana would give you much choice shall we meet back here in two hours" Jake asked planning in his mind everything he had to do but before Isabelle could answer Ariana answered for her and practically kicked him out her shop " Two hours is prefect, bye Jake now shoo give us some girl time" Isabelle burst into giggles it seemed her big bad Demon Alpha although fierce in battle was a big softie at heart and allowed a select few she-wolfs to order him around occasionally. Jake nodded at Ariana and smiled sexily at Isabelle before he left.
" Now hes gone lets have a good girlie gossip, I am so happy your here Isabelle its lovely to have another she- wolf to talk too So I will start then you can tell me all about you.... I already know you’re a fierce warrior my mate has told me the tale of seeing you in battle and my cousin Hamish still has the bruise around his neck where you had him in a headlock... you will need to teach me that move." Ariana led Isabelle away gossiping and giggling and Isabelle followed contently enjoying her company.
Two hours went by quickly and Isabelle had enjoyed Ariana's company more than she thought she would. Isabelle had learnt Ariana and Carl had six year old pup called Micheal, they had been mated for 10 years since Ariana was 18 and she had heard Ariana's whole life story and as Isabelle felt so comfortable around Ariana she had shared hers with Ariana which felt amazing to discuss it with her as Ariana was an amazing listener and gave wonderful pep talks too it turned out. Ariana had also made Isabelle try on practically everything in the store and insisted Isabelle kept half of the items claiming the clothes looked amazing on Isabelle and she had to have them or else she would be offended.
Isabelle and Ariana were sitting crossed legged on the floor drinking fizzy pop and eating sweets surrounded by a mountain of wrapped clothing for Isabelle to take home and the now completely bare shop shelves giggling when Jake appeared. " Wow I see you have been busy" He smiled at the pair of them taking in Isabelle happy carefree attitude. "Ariana insisted I try on everything in her store and that I keep about half of it or else I would offend her." Isabelle giggled.
"Well we wouldn't want to offend her now would we If your done can I take you to dinner now I have a place in mind that's if there is nowhere else you would like to go"
"Dinner sounds amazing I am famished!" Isabelle enthusiastically sprung to her feet and grabbed Ariana in a tight hug "Thank you so much for today, it was so nice to meet you and thank you for your advice." Isabelle smiled at her new friend.
“It was my pleasure Alpha and I meant what I said..." Ariana leaned closer and whispered so only Isabelle could hear " Do not be burdened with a shame that's not yours to bear, the Rogue Alpha has taken enough of your life and you deserve to be happy so try and focus on your future with your loving mate and new family, your future can be a happy and wonderful one if you let it be."
Isabelle smiled warmly at Ariana she was definitely going to be a good friend to Isabelle, "Thank you and please call me Isabelle we are friends after all. "
"Ok then Isabelle now go your sexy mate is waiting patiently to romance you. And don't be a stranger pop by any time you want to my store or home. I will see you soon" Ariana embraced her in another quick hug and then shooed Isabelle and Jake out her shop.
Isabelle looked lovingly into Jake’s eyes as they walked hand in hand to the car, there body guards trailing behind them carrying the mountain of shopping bags. Isabelle was so incredibly happy, her life had changed so much in the last 48 hours, she reclaimed her freedom, she found her mate, she found a new family with the Blood Fang Pack members who had all welcomed her warmly at the ball, she was forming new friendships and she had a new identity she was now known as the female Alpha of the Blood Fang Pack no longer a weak captive or the victim of a perverted mad werewolf. She had decided to take Ariana's advice and focus on her future starting with tonight and her first real date ever and with none other than her fated mate. Life was good for her and she walked happily leaving the past 10years behind and focusing on her future.
Unfortunately, the Rogue Alpha couldn't do the same to him Isabelle was his future and he was coming to get her...very soon.
