A PLAN FOR JUSTICE

The demon Alpha who became the head of the king's army aged 14 and is rumored to be so strong that the Moon Goddess herself created him so he and his bloodline could protect all her werewolf children" Isabelle managed to ask getting over her shock. " Yes, that Demon Alpha" Jake chuckled as Isabelle looked at him in awe. " Also I must tell you also Isabelle that the reason why I tensed when you told me you were from the Golden Moon pack was that when your family did not arrive at the king's court as summoned the king sent me as his head of the army to investigate fearing the worse, I was 15 at the time and despite being the most feared warrior in the kingdom when I arrived at your pack lands the memory of what I saw will haunt me forever. I was determined to find the person responsible for committing such a monstrous crime so I petitioned the king to make me the lead investigator of your pack's case and I have been searching for the Rogue Alpha ever since. I am so sorry I didn't find him Isabelle if I did you wouldn't have had to suffer everything you have..." Jake's speech was promptly interrupted " You have nothing to apologize for Jake you did the best you could and it brings me a comfort to know the king has assigned you to my case as I know I can rely on you to see justice is done, I am so lucky to have you as my mate." Isabelle said trying to reassure him as she smiled at him lovingly.
" Thank you, Isabelle, your kindness and understanding are appreciated, I want you to know that I will not fail you again now that you are safe we can use the intelligence you gathered over the past decade to learn more about the Rogue Alpha and form a plan on how best to defeat him. We will need to update the king on the new information and if you can you will need to tell him your story too" Jake asked hopefully. " I understand but I have a request" Isabelle took a deep breath before asking her mate " I want to help take him down and I want you to train my wolf when I mature to do it please"
" Of course Isabelle without question, no one deserves to bring him to justice more than you and I meant what I said before too, you may just be the strongest she-wolf ever born and no one will be more capable to bring him down than you when you are fully trained. With myself and the whole Blood Fang Pack as your allies and the king's blessing I swear to you Isabelle you will get the justice you deserve." Isabelle wasn't able to control her emotions she suddenly grabbed Jake roughly and kissed him passionately Jake deepened the kiss running his fingers through Isabelle's soft but muddy grass-filled hair before breaking apart their kiss before he got carried away and smiled down at his mate. " I am sorry, I just... ever since the night of the massacre, I have dreamt of seeing justice done and afterward.... all those years of torture feeling so alone and fearing I would never escape and get to see the Rogue Alpha get his come up pence... I just suddenly felt so happy by your vow and felt safe and loved and well... my wolf side took over." Isabelle blushed looking down at the ground embarrassed by her forwardness. " You should let your wolf take over more often then " Jake grinned sexily and Isabelle for the first time in years burst into fits of giggles and Jake swore it was the most beautiful sound he had ever heard.
After Isabelle's giggle fit had ended she looked up at Jake to assess him, he was smiling at her. The trainer was right she thought your mate is a gift from the Moon Goddess and your other half. Jake in the short space of time she had known him had brought back joy into her life something she never thought she would experience again, he was charming, funny, caring, and also a deadly strong warrior a perfect match for Isabelle, his touch also banished all her thoughts of the Rogue Alphas unwanted groping and made her feel something she never dreamed she would - passion. " What are you thinking love?" Jake asked lovingly brushing a strand of Isabelle's unruly mane from her eyes. " I was just thinking how lucky I am that the moon goddess paired us as fated mates, I know I haven't known you long but I love you, Jake." Isabelle blushed " I love you Isabelle too you are amazing, you're so beautiful and strong and despite all the horrors you have been throwing you are still kind and loving, I am so grateful to have you as my mate you complete me Isabelle but I must be honest with you as after everything you've been through you deserve to always have my honesty... you are my second chance mate." The world seemed to stop as Jake waited for her reaction.
"So your first mate...?" Isabelle tried to form the words to get the information she needed but couldn't she was worried they would be insensitive and hurt him so she decided to give him the same respect he showed her and give him time to tell his story.
" Her name was Laura, she and I were childhood friends we were close actually until I turned 13 phased early Laura after that seemed to avoid me she was always a timid pup and she was scared of my power so we drifted apart. When we both turned 18 we realized we were fated mates however and I was so happy I had finally found my mate and couldn't wait to claim her and spent my life loving her showing her there was no reason to fear me. That night the elders were preparing the mating ceremony and when I went to her home to collect her I found her...dead she can kill herself, she left a note saying she couldn't live with the thought of being mated to any warrior never mind one with my fierce reputation and since I was the pack Alpha she felt she couldn't reject me so took the only way out she thought she had- she committed suicide."Jake sat and waited fearfully for Isabelle to respond. "Thank you for trusting me with your story Jake, I am so sorry you went through that it's.... heartbreaking, I want you to know I am not like Laura though and I am not frightened by having you as my mate in fact because I too am a warrior I can appreciate the dedication you must have had to become such a fierce warrior. I have faced Lucifer himself these past 10 years and know despite your name you are no Demon, you have shown me nothing but respect, love, and kindness since we have met and your pack follows you not out of fear like the Rogue Alphas does but out of love and respect, you are a great Alpha and I know you will be a great mate to me too and despite being your second chance mate I will try my best to be the same to you." This time Jake couldn't help himself he leaned across and pulled Isabelle into a passionate kiss " I am sorry Isabelle I know you had no choice with intimacy in the pasted and I will only act with your permission from now on, I just needed to show you how much I love you and how much your words and understanding mean to me." Isabelle smiled and nodded
" When you kiss me, Jake... it's different I like it... it makes me feel... loved"
"Well, in that case, I promise to kiss you often but for now since our big talk is over why don't we head back to the packhouse? No doubt the battalion of warriors you encountered this morning have already spread the news of how they got their asses kicked by their strong and beautiful new Luna and our pack will be excited to meet you. I can get our pack housekeeper to escort you to your room when you arrive and assist you in freshening up and getting ready and tonight we will have a feast to introduce you officially to the pack if you're feeling up to it" he asked respectfully seeking her approval.
" I am dreading facing those warriors again, but I will love to meet your... I mean our pack." Isabelle cuddled into Jake absorbing his comforting warmth and relaxing scent as he led her back to the packhouse both joking about Isabelle's first meeting with the warriors along the way and both of them finally being to feel their past demons had been laid to rest and for the first times in a long time both feeling happy.
