SOPHIA CASTILLO POV
I have spent over two weeks unstable and it has become my days here have become one of the most memorable moments of the year.
Adrian and my relationship grew stronger over the past week and we have been trying to get to know one another better.
Whenever he comes back, we will eat, spend time together cuddling and we will sleep. It felt so magical with him and I didn't want to leave Istanbul just yet.
I was dressed in a flora dress that stopped mid-thigh, preparing to go meet Adrian where he had asked me to meet him.
He called me two hours ago telling me to get prepared to come and meet him at a certain location. He said his driver would come and pick me up.
I am a little nervous right now as I didn't know what he had in mind and why he suddenly asked me to dress very nicely.
I do not have the best fashion sense but I knew it wasn't bad. Lately, I have been doing a lot to look better because I wanted to hear Adrian compliment me which he has not failed to do for the past days we have been here.
Even when I was dressed in my pajamas, he complimented me, and each time it sent a tingling sensation down my spine.
I entered the car and the driver began to drive. I was tempted to ask the driver if he knew what Adrian had in mind but then I realized that he wouldn't know and besides Adrian isn't that friendly with anyone.
"We have arrived ma'am," the driver informed me and I got out of the car.
"Thank you," I muttered before closing the door.
"Welcome Mrs. Castillo," a man dressed in a black suit greeted me and from the way he addressed me, I knew he was sent by Adrian to come to take me whenever he was.
"Good evening," I greeted him.
"Please follow me. Your husband Mr. Castillo had asked me to bring you to him," he Informed me and I did as told.
I followed behind him as he lead me to where Adrian was. The place was eerily quiet, making me a little nervous as I wondered why Adrian had asked them to bring me here.
I hope this man wasn't planning to kidnap me. Different thoughts ran through my mind as I continued to follow him and for some reason, I wanted to turn back and run away until I realized we were approaching a place that was lit up.
As we kept walking closer, I realized we were walking to a garden. The closer I got, the more I realized that the garden was beautiful but what caught my attention was the table for two that was set in the middle.
"Excuse Me," I called for the attention of the man.
"Yes ma'am," he answered.
"Are you sure Adrian is there?" I asked.
I had to ask because as much as I wanted to feel comfortable, I just couldn't. I was nervous because I do not know any place in Turkey but at the same time, Adrian wouldn't set me up, or maybe he does have enemies. It wasn't that I was a fan of movies but I was having a lot of worries.
"You will see soon," he replied firm and short and I sighed, hoping that thing would go fine.
"We are here," he informed me as soon as we reached where the table for two was. I realized then that Adrian was seated, dressed in a two-piece black suit.
I felt my heart beat hard and fast in my chest as soon as I saw him. He looked breathtaking as always with two of his button undone.
"You are here," he said with a smile on his face and I nodded my head.
He got up from where he was seated and walked to me. I gave him my hands where he stretched his hands to get them and he kissed the back of my pack and a jolt of electricity run down my spine.
I sucked on my bottom lips as I stared at him.
"Thanks for coming," he said and I couldn't help but feel that he was a little nervous I noticed this because I have never seen him this way before.
I wonder what could be bothering him because it also made me worried.
Adrian pulled back a seat for me and I sat down. He went over to where he was seated before and sat down. He clapped his hands and two ladies dressed in formal dresses came to us.
"Please set the table," he told them and they hurried to go and do what he said. I wonder what he has in mind.
"How are you feeling?" He asked me.
"I will be very honest. At first, I was nervous that maybe someone was trying to kidnap me while using you are the excuse," I chuckled lightly.
"Really?" he chuckled and I nodded my head.
"Just why would you think that?" He asked.
"It's easy. You asked me to come here. Do you know how eerily quiet it was for me while coming here? I mean there is no one here and then someone kept asking me to follow him and it made me very nervous," I explained to him.
"I'm sorry about that. I just wanted somewhere private for us. Just you and I together. We have time for ourselves and we will talk, that's it," I told him.
"I see. So what's the occasion for?" I asked him.
"You will see," he replied.
Just then the girls came back with food and drinks. My stomach rumbled in joy. I love food and they make me happy.
"All this much for the both of us? You do realize that we won't be able to eat them all by ourselves right?" I told him and he shrugged.
"But it's for the both of us and we don't necessarily have to finish it but you see the dessert, you have to, it's a must," he told me.
"Okay. I will," I chuckled and he did too.
"Today is our last day in Turkiye and I want us to enjoy and have a memorable night," he informed me.
"Okay. I see. But I'm grateful to you Adrian, a lot," I told him.
"You do not have to be grateful," he said.
"No. I have to. I mean you brought me here and I help me have a good time. I appreciate it. It makes me feel at ease. It's been a long I felt this kind of peace and with you, it has been a blast. Thanks so much," I said sincerely.
"Thank you to Sophia. You have been a one of a kind," he told me and I blushed.
I was very much grateful to this man because not only had it made it possible for my transfer to New York university faster and easier but he has also helped me make more memories.
I never expected our relationship to grow this much but it did and I'm grateful. Marrying at twenty didn't turn out to be bad for me.
We both ate in silence but I did not fail to notice the stares he gave me each time and it made me blush. I am not sure I will be getting over the exciting feeling I get whenever I was with him.
I was able to eat a little of every dish on the table. It was time for me to eat the dessert and I did not fail to notice how Adrian stopped eating and kept looking at me.
"Is something wrong?" I asked him, a little nervous.
"No. Not at all," he answered.
"You didn't poison this right?" I asked him, letting out a small laugh and he did too.
"Poison? I wouldn't do that to you m,y love," he said and I felt my heart skip from the endearment.
"Okay, if you say so," I said and began to eat from the cake.
"You might want to take it slow," he said as I was cutting it big.
I chuckled. "I won't..." I froze once I saw a shiny object on the cake. I used the fork to pull it out and I gasped when I saw that it was a ring.
What does Adrian have in mind?
Adrian got up from where he was seated. He pulled me up from my seat and took the ring from the fork.
He cleared his throat.
"Sophia, we both started on the wrong foot. I had to marry you because my grandfather wanted me to get married and you had to marry me because you wanted to save your father's company. I admit that I was a jerk to you. I treated you bad and that was ungentlemanly of me," he began and I listened to him.
"I have to admit to you that from the first time I set my eyes on you, I felt my heart skip. It has never happened before, especially in your eyes. I have never found anything as beautiful as they were and it annoyed me. I saw your sister and wasn't moved and then I saw you and it felt like my whole world was spinning," he said and I felt my heart race in joy.
It felt so nice hearing his day this about me.
"I do not mean to compare you and your sister but the fact that I found you attractive angered me. I didn't like it at all. It was something I wasn't used to and so I fought it hard a lot and that was why I tried to rile you up."
"We both started wrongly and we are progressing but now all I want is to start anew with you. I want today to mark the beginning of a new start for us," he went on one of his knees.
"I have so much to say to you but If I kept going on, I won't be able to say what it is I have on my mind.
"I'm in love with you Sophia and I want you to be my wife because I ask you and not because you had to. Will, you re-marry me again Sophia?" He asked me while staring into my eyes.
I did not realize that I was crying until I touched my cheek.
Adrian just confessed to being in love with me and I also felt the same way but I have not said anything about it because I didn't want to rush things.
I nodded my head. "Yes," I told him.
Adrian slide the ring into my finger and got up to stand back on his feet.
He hugged me. "Thanks so much for giving me a chance Sophia. I love you," he said.
"I love you too," I replied after gathering the courage to say so.
He looked surprised and I could tell that from the way his eyes widened.
"You love me?" He asked and I nodded my head.
He leaned in and claimed my lips, taking my breath away.
It never felt so right in my life.
Our rocky relationship has come to an end and a new beginning was about to start and I just couldn't wait for it.
"I love you," he said in-between kisses.
"I love you, Adrian," I replied.
With all my heart and although I knew there were bound to be ups and downs I was willing to overcome them with him.
