BA-DUMP!
Like a bomb dropping straight upon her head, Gabriel lost her words for a brief moment as immense palpitation surged inside her. The shameful truth which she wanted to hide from others at least for a while, was already coming outside against her will. It was a huge blow on her self-esteem and pride that made her temper get irked as she got overwhelmed by fury.
“Why do you care?” Without even realizing it, she snapped back at her curiosity with a cold glare, making her tone sound quite hoarse. “Even if Zordan has bitten me or not, that has nothing to do with you, right? He is my fiance and I believe this is an invasion of our personal space! I don’t care anymore about what you did to me and Marcus in our buried past, but now, I strictly want you to stay out of our lives!!”
Gabriel’s stiff loud voice created a strong echo inside the walls of the room, leaving Lilith too stunned to speak. Even though anger overwhelmed her mind, she muttered in her mind with confusion, ‘W-What’s wrong with me? What am I blabbering out? Why am I getting angry with her attempt to pry between me and Zordan? There’s nothing left between us anymore but…why does her interference feels so annoying? Aren’t I too rude towards her?’
While she was contemplating her action, Lilith’s face turned strangely paler with her brown eyes filled with vague darkness! This time, her wistful expression changed into an agitated one with a vein popped on the side of her neck. She clenched her fist, looking badly annoyed yet held her endurance until the last limit as she gave a small retort, “I understand. Pardon me for being nosy. I should leave now, have a good rest.”
Lilith didn’t waste a single second anymore and swifted out of the room like a flash, leaving Gabriel surrounded by her thoughts. While watching her hurriedly leaving, she was certain that her tone must have been too insulting for her to bear, even though she really didn’t want to mean that. Out of impulse, her anger was channelized towards her as if she became a victim of her venting.
“Damn it, everything has become a mess…because of Zordan!” Gabriel gritted her teeth and fussed out, caressing her fingers once again above the bite mark covered by the choker. She exhaled a frustrated sigh and gazed blankly outside the window as she mumbled, “Just how far you want to see my ruin, Zordan?”
…
“FUCK, DAMN IT!!”
BAMMM!
Walking a bit far away from her room, Lilith hurriedly rushed towards a desolate hallway and rammed a violent punch into the wall! Her vicious anger was glaring out of her orbs which had obtained the color shining yellow, compared to her usual brown orbs. She seemed terribly outraged, huffing breaths heavily as if she was trying to calm herself down. Her fist was bleeding quite profusely as the outcome from the fierce punch but her facial expression showed no trace of pain. Instead, she looked filled with wrath and hostility from her core.
“I…I would have killed that bitch by now if I didn’t rush out of her room! How…Just how dare of her she spoke to me like that? Why…Why the fuck I could sense Zordan’s scent from her? D-Did…he really mark her?”
Her trembling voice paused for a second as she muttered, while her eyes started to ignite more viciously. Holding a crazy pounding heart, she took a few deep breaths of inhale and exhales to calm herself. But her facial complexion was turning redder due to the blood rush.
“No…that’s not possible. Father told me that both of them have enmity within each other, so there’s no way, Prince Zordan will mark that bitch… But…even if he does that…” Her eyebrows curved deeper as a wicked smirk curved on her lips, “I still won’t give up on him! He is mine…I have been always in love with him since I was little so there’s no way…I will lose before that bitch! Even if he attempts to mark her, I…I will simply obliterate her existence and snatch my place in his heart.
Prince Zordan is mine…I…I can’t give up on him anymore…no matter what route I have to opt for now… He will be mine…and I will be his only luna in the end.”
A dangerous obsessive smile curved on her face as she glanced at her bleeding fist with her luminous eyes. Red crimson drops of blood had already stained the wooden floor.
