Fated to the Sinful Alpha

CHAPTER 55:

Ch. 54 / 59 Nov 29, 2022

But Zordan didn’t show minimal restraint and cast a mystic dark sneer at him, “Maybe I am a bit insane when it comes to Gabriel. At that time, I had no choice but to let her go…but in my heart, I had vowed to myself, it will be always Gabriel or no one else. I was certain, and for whole my life, I hoped for another chance and a mistake from Marcus! As I knew, we were fated to be with each other since the beginning.

She was always destined to be mine!”

His spine-chilling, low voice created a strong nervous stimulation for Aldrick as he stared at him with utmost disbelief. His facial expression looked quite scary from his point of view even though he was trying to keep a calm gesture. After a few minutes of anticipated silence, he scowled at him, “Zordan…w-what’s wrong with you? This is not love…this is your obsession! How can you speak such words calmly—”

“Obsession?” A cryptic smile sliced the corner of his crimson lips as Zordan lifted his glance below at the crystal-empty wine glass and twirled in his hand. “You can call it anything…maybe I am insane, or obsessed, but my entire life has revolved around her. I had deliberately hoped for another chance and when I finally got it, I am keen to exceed every boundary to keep her by my side. Even if I have to opt for the wrong path, I still have no intention of letting her go again.”

“Zordan—”

“And neither I will stand anyone coming in between us, father!” All of a sudden, his tone shuffled into a hoarse one as the cryptic smile vanished from his face. Wearing a dreadful expression, he marched closer towards him, clenching the empty glass tight in his grip. “I have waited a long time to be with her… I know, evil eyes are always hovering around me, and not only me but she will be targeted too. Yet still, I will keep her by my side and absolutely won’t allow anyone to come between us.”

“Wait, listen to me—”

“But if still, someone tries to act persistent, then I will destroy them in the cruelest way possible!”

Peering a death stare into his eyes, the darkened expression on his face grew intense as if every word he clearly spoke how resolute his determination had become. Without flickering his lashes, he threatened in a low, cold voice, “I won’t care whatever the position of that approaching person will be, but they will face the most brutal alpha in their lifetime if ever anyone pulls any nasty trick to separate us two. Do you understand my words now, father?”

CLANK!!

All of a sudden, Aldrick flinched at the faint cracking sound of glass coming in between them. Quickly he noticed it was Zordan, who had crashed the empty wine glass in his grip, driven by impulse. His hand started bleeding profusely along with small pieces of glass engraved into his flesh. Even his impulsive action was unexpected, but Aldrick shuddered for a second watching the murderous gaze of an alpha he bore in his eyes as he gave him the clear warning. He seemed too fearless and his eyes were glowing like a tiger glaring at his prey before pouncing over it.

But Zordan didn’t flinch a bit and calmly looked at his bleeding hand. While he started to scrape the glass pieces from his flesh, his darkened expression returned to a casual look as he mumbled, “It was unique having a chat with you, father. Hopefully, you have understood what I tried to say and now, I will look forward to your blessings in my engagement ceremony tomorrow.”

“Zordan…you are bleeding too much! I must call the physician!” Blood drops started to stain the floor badly as Aldrick grew a bit anxious for him.

“It’s nothing.” As expected, Zordan coldly objected to him while picking out the glass scrapes all by himself. “You don’t have to act anymore about worrying for me. Have a good night, father.”

Before Zordan could walk out of the room, dripping his blood droplets behind, Aldrick shrieked in a frantic manner, with a concerned gaze for him. “Wait! Zordan…I have something else to tell you!”

His footsteps paused and keeping a curious watch, he turned around, “Yes?”

Aldrick retained a frustrated look on his face as he pursed his lips before responding, “I don’t know if you are aware of it or not…but…Marcus is returning back to the castle.”

In the flick of a second, Zordan contorted his face into a darkened look as he mumbled, “What?”

“He is coming back for the first time after Gabriel moved in here back. I don’t know if he is aware of your engagement but…I will appreciate it if the two of you won’t cause any unnecessary ruckus. I don’t want any humiliation to happen again before the nobles!” Aldrick depicted a stern command.

Just by hearing his declaration, the icy cold expression turned into a dreadful look as Zordan blankly stared ahead, clenching his bleeding hand stabbed with glass pieces! A dark, scary smirk sliced his lips before he left the room.

Exhaling another heavy sigh, Aldrick stared at the blood droplets staining the floor as he mumbled to himself, “Now…I am even more worried about Gabriel. Just when did he become so twisted? How far his insanity can take him?”
