Marilyn was slightly stunned. "It's strange. I can meet them everywhere I go. Why?"
"Ms. Chapman, is it really you?" Julian looked at Marilyn in surprise.
Marilyn looked at them doubtfully and asked in surprise, "Why are you here? Who is injured?"
Malcolm saw that she was covered in mud. She was dirty and her forehead hurt. He frowned and said, "Julian, go buy a set of clothes and shoes in a nearby store."
"OK!" Julian nodded. He glanced at Marilyn and then turned to leave.
He didn't want to stay with Malcolm at all.
Marilyn looked at herself and knew that she was indeed in a sorry state.
She had to change her clothes, so she didn't refuse.
Malcolm took a few steps closer to her. The tall and muscular figure of him instantly enveloped Marilyn. Marilyn could feel his faint masculine aura and his chilly aura.
Marilyn felt a little nervous as if the blood in her body was flowing back. She lowered her head and quickly took a step back.
She had heard that Malcolm was a clean freak, so she wanted to stay as far away from Malcolm as possible now.
Malcolm was indeed a clean freak. If anyone else stood in front of him like this, he would definitely leave in disgust.
However, the person in front of him was Marilyn, and he did not mind at all.
Malcolm was displeased because of Marilyn's retreat, but his voice was still very gentle. "Lynn, you are injured. Go see the doctor first." Although his tone was gentle, no one was allowed to reject it.
Marilyn looked at him. His gaze and his movements were both enchanting.
She shook her head slowly. "Mr. Lowe, why don't you go back? I have to see the patient upstairs. My injury is not serious."
"She is chasing me away again," Malcolm thought. A terrifying storm seemed to be brewing in his eyes.
He was extremely patient towards Marilyn. That sudden storm was his nature.
He said, "Lynn, you seem to be afraid of being alone with me."
His handsome face was with an evil smile. His sharp black eyes seemed to see through Marilyn's thoughts.
At this moment, Marilyn felt that she had no place to escape.
Although she felt like that, she still looked into Malcolm's eyes fearlessly and said calmly, "Mr. Lowe, why should I be afraid of you? I just don't want to waste your precious time."
Malcolm looked at the flash of panic in her eyes.
He smiled evilly and asked, "Lynn, why do you think I'm busy?"
Marilyn raised her eyebrows and looked at him. "Wasn't he asking a question that he already knew the answer to?"
I said this out of courtesy. Doesn't he know that with his intelligence?
That's right. Good medicine can't cure evil, and good words are hard to persuade.
I just don't like to get involved with him.
As the saying goes, a man is innocent, but a man is guilty of his possessions.
Malcolm should understand this, right?" Marilyn thought in mind.
Sometimes, she even suspected that he was intentional.
He was like the bright moon in the sky and in everyone's hearts, and she was just an inconspicuous star beside him. As long as he did not notice her, she would be safe.
Marilyn smiled seductively and said, "I don't want to chat with you anymore, Mr. Lowe. I'll go see the patient first."
"I'll go up with you." When Malcolm finished speaking, he walked in front of her.
Seeing that he insisted on following her, Marilyn knew no matter how much she said, it would just be nonsense and couldn't change his mind.
Malcolm walked to the elevator and asked, "Which floor?"
"On the second floor," Marilyn replied.
"The second floor?" Malcolm frowned. The elevator was still on the fifth floor. He turned to look at the fire escape.
Marilyn had already walked towards the fire escape. Malcolm put on an evil smile and followed her. He had one hand in his pocket. The white light shone on him and made him dazzling.
When they arrived on the second floor, Marilyn asked the nurse about Denise's ward. It was in room 202.
Marilyn walked over. A male doctor, wearing a white coat and a mask, happened to walk out with two nurses.
Marilyn smiled and asked, "Doctor, are the patient and the baby in her belly alright?"
The doctor nodded and said, "You saved her in time. The patient and her child are fine, but the patient is in a bad mood and may miscarry at any time."
Marilyn nodded and smiled gratefully. "Thank you, doctor. I will persuade her."
"That's for the best. Tonight, she might need someone to accompany her, but she may not be able to hire a nursing worker for her in a short time. If no one is by her side, she will be agitated and do the same thing as before."
"Okay. Doctor, don't worry. I will be by her side." Marilyn smiled and nodded again.
"That's good. She's currently put on a drip. If there's anything wrong, call me immediately."
"Alright." Marilyn nodded.
After the doctor and nurses left, Marilyn walked in.
But just as she pushed the door open, she returned.
Malcolm was waiting for her on the bench outside. His legs were folded together elegantly, and his entire body was filled with an imposing aura.
Marilyn glanced at him and said, "Mr. Lowe, can I borrow your phone? My phone fell into the river."
Malcolm nodded and handed her the phone with his well-defined hand.
"Thank you!" Marilyn pressed the button on the side and the screen lit up. However, a password was needed. She looked at Malcolm and asked, "Mr. Lowe, the password is..."
"My birthday." Malcolm interrupted her.
Marilyn was stunned.
"Mr. Lowe, your birthday is..." Marilyn smiled, but her smile showed that she wanted to beat Malcolm up.
"Who the hell knows his birthday?" She complained in her heart.
"It's the same as your phone password," Malcolm told her patiently.
He raised his head slightly. His arrogant expression was like that of an Emperor. His thin lips curled up and he looked at her with a devilish smile.
The lights here were a little dim, but it made Malcolm's deep eyes look even more charming.
"0923?" Marilyn shook suddenly. A thing flashed through her mind, so fast that she couldn't catch it.
She looked at Malcolm in shock. After she had woken up, she only remembered the number 0923.
And she remembered she loved strawberry-flavored things but forgot everything else.
Malcolm smiled gently and asked, "Do you want to check my ID card?"
Marilyn seemed to have not heard his words. "What does 0923 mean? Why do I always remember it?"
Marilyn had her head lowered and looked pained. Malcolm saw that and his heart ached slightly.
"Lynn, don't you remember anything? Have you forgotten about me?"
He narrowed his eyes slightly, his black pupils filled with deep longing.
Marilyn was shocked in her heart and did not pay attention to Malcolm's expression. Her hands trembled, and she entered 0923. The phone was indeed unlocked.
