Destined by One Night: The CEO's Pursuit

Chapter 127

Ch. 127 / 281 Apr 07, 2026

In the office, it was quiet. The office was managed with elegance.

She started to remember many things that happened in the past.

As for the Remington family, Tyrone had been resting at home since the day he fell.

The spacious bedroom was decorated in a classical style. It was elegant and comfortable.

Tyrone leaned against the beige luxury sofa, holding a picture frame in his hand.

In the picture, the little girl sitting on his lap was smiling brightly.

Tyrone touched the picture with his fingers. Ever since he saw Marilyn that day, he had missed his daughter so much that he had always thought Marilyn was his daughter.

Debbie came in with a glass of water. When she saw him holding the photo, she frowned and said, "Tyrone , put these photos away. It will bring up a lot of memories. Can't you let me be relieved?"

She was unhappy. Once she saw her daughter's photo, she would not be in a good mood for half a month.

Tyrone raised his eyes and glanced at her.

He lowered his head and said in a low voice, "A few days ago, the girl who helped me looked like our daughter."

Hearing that, Debbie took a deep breath and said, "Tyrone , you have seen Lynn eight times a month. You miss Lynn so much, so you hallucinate. Take the medicine first!" Debbie said and handed him the medicine.

Tyrone took the medicine and water.

Debbie took the cup from him and put it on the coffee table in front of her.

Tyrone looked at Debbie and thought for a while. He thought about what he wanted to say a few times before saying, "Debbie, believe me. This time, it feels strong. The eyes of that girl are as clean as our daughters..."

"Well, Tyrone , why do you have to do this to me? I desperately want to forget the pain of losing my daughter, but you remind me every day. Can't you let me live happily?"

Debbie interrupted him angrily. She suddenly stood up and looked at him angrily.

She was in a lot of pain. Everyone would leave one day, but after losing their daughter, they suffered a lot.

Tyrone looked up and saw tears in her eyes. He smiled bitterly and said, "Debbie, you want to find Lynn. As long as we do not give up, we will find Lynn."

Debbie did not want to listen to that anymore. She turned around and left. Tyrone felt sorry for her.

Tyrone secretly made up his mind and he thought," Well, you all don't believe me. This time, I will prove it to you."

Tyrone looked at the time. It was still early. He got up, went to change his clothes, and drove to the restaurant where he met Marilyn that day.

Malcolm picked Dominic up and took him to the high-class cafeteria in the Millennium Square to eat seafood.

Dominic had been to the cafeteria, but it was not that luxurious.

Mom was busy, and it was Grandma who took care of them.

Malcolm and Dominic sat face to face at the window.

The environment in the restaurant was very good, and the light music sounded comfortable.

There were many people, but they were all communicating in low voices.

Dominic elegantly ate, which was similar to Malcolm.

Malcolm looked at Dominic, who was eating the squid. He smiled and asked, "Dominic, your mother usually goes to work. What will you eat? Who will take care of you?"

Dominic looked up and saw he felt concerned. He said indifferently, "Grandma will take care of us. Mom can go to work without worry. We are all very good and will not cause trouble for Mom."

Dominic said while eating, and Malcolm felt sad when he heard it.

He had a good time.

But Lynn and his sons, on the other hand, were working hard for life.

At night, he always thought about them and couldn't sleep well.

Fortunately, they appeared in his life.

Malcolm suddenly asked, "Who is Grandma?"

She must be important to Lynn.

Dominic gracefully put the shrimp shell to the side and smiled indifferently, "Mr. Lowe, you seem to be interested in everything about my mother?"

Malcolm was speechless. Why was he so smart? Could he be like a child?

As a six-year-old child, shouldn't he answer the questions of the person who bought the delicious food for him?

Dominic was so mature.

Malcolm smiled and asked, "Dominic, when will Arturo return?"

He wanted to take Dominic and Arturo out.

Dominic glanced at him casually and said, "I don't know. He has been busy filming for the past few days."

Malcolm didn't smile anymore.

"Just eat!" Malcolm pointed at the food on his plate.

"Malcolm, I am eating." Dominic still answered him indifferently.

Malcolm raised his eyes and looked at Dominic. Dominic had been playing Tai Chi with him the entire morning. Malcolm answered every question Dominic asked, but Dominic was hedging.

Dominic was hard to deal with.

At that moment, Dominic's phone rang.

When Marilyn saw that it was her mother, he happily picked up the phone.

"Mom."

When Malcolm heard that, he listened carefully.

"Dominic, have you had lunch?" Marilyn had just finished her work and called her son.

"Mom, I'm eating lunch with Malcolm. Mom, don't worry." Malcolm looked at Dominic expectantly and Dominic told his mom that he was with Malcolm.

Marilyn was instantly stunned. Malcolm and Dominic were together?

"Mom, you should eat lunch now. I'll go back after I finish eating. Goodbye, mom!" After saying that, Dominic hung up.

Malcolm looked at Dominic strangely. He felt that something was strange, but he couldn't tell.

As for Marilyn, after hanging up the phone, she went to the company canteen.

She thought all the way. Why did Malcolm go to eat lunch with Dominic again? What did Malcolm want?

The canteen was big and noisy!

Marilyn was absent-minded as she walked.

All of a sudden, Sandra, who was walking toward her, bumped into her.

The soup on her plate was sprinkled all over Marilyn, and Marilyn's white suit was stained.

"Ms. Chapman, I didn't do it on purpose. Are you okay?" Sandra looked at her with a smile, but she didn't look guilty.

Marilyn was stunned. She looked up and saw Sandra, Velma, and Billie.
