The bond in marriage is indeed an extraordinary type of bond. Kyle and I are seated in the living room at our parents house right now, receiving the scolding of our lives from our father all thanks to mum. She did not hesitate to fill him in on the latest developments about my pregnancy and now my father is raging like a wild dog. He keeps pacing about and I'm just very nervous right now.
"Kyle you had one job, to make sure your sister wasn't doing anything outrageous and you failed. You have disappointed me, both of you!" he spits out angry and I look at my brother sadly. I feel so bad for dragging him into this. He has been tried his best to be overprotective of me, I am the only one to be blamed for this mess.
"Dad you..."
"Not now Luna!" He cuts me off with a roar and I tremble in fear. Kyle scoots closer to me and takes me into his arms. I just feel like bursting into tears right now.
"Angelis you need to calm down" Mum advices.
"Don't tell me to calm down!. Do you have any idea how much of a mess this is?. How can my only daughter, my princess get pregnant for an already engaged man. This is going to cause a scandal when it reaches the press."
"Honey I understand where you are coming from but scolding and getting all worked up won't solve this issue either. You need to relax so we can figure out how to handle the situation"
"Diana if only you had let me go ahead with my plans three years ago, none of this would've been happening. "Let the young lady grow up, let the young lady make her own choices" Dad said mimicking my mother's voice and actions "You must be very proud of the decisions she has made, aren't you?"
"You know all this scolding and frustration won't change anything right?" My mum says in a bored tune.
"Luna!" My father roars and I tremble in my brother's arms.
"Dad you are scaring her!"
"Not another word from you Kyle" He warns and Kyle goes mute.
"Luna" He calls yet again and I look up at him.
"Daddy"
"I don't know how you are going to do it, but I want that young man present for lunch this Sunday" With that, he storms out of the living room and I heave out a heavy sigh of relief. Dad's temperament is never going to improve.
"Let's get you to bed" Kyle says as helps me rise up from the couch
"You have spoilt her" That's mum.
""I refuse to have this conversation with you mum"
He says as he leads me to the stairs. This is all I am capable of doing, causing commotion here and there.
"My mother went to see your mother in her office?" Ace asks in total disbelieve. We are at a popular restaurant, in a private lounge to be precise, about to have lunch.
Look, I had no choice but to go. He already sent a driver to come and pick me up and I didn't want to act like a brat by sending him back and also there's a lot of things I want us to talk about. I just pray Sophia doesn't pop up and cause a scene.
"Yeah, and it didn't end well"
"Mum!" He exclaims as he drinks more wine from his glass. I feel like tossing it away form his hand because I am not allowed to drink wine in my condition. It's so annoying to watch someone else drink when I can't. I am stuck with fruit juice.
"Mum needs to stop doing this, offering money for you to take and stay away from me?, who even does that?" He asks in dismay.

"I'm going to talk to her and I'm going to apologize to your mother personally. This is madness!" He laments.
"Your mum only wants what is best for you"
"Oh really?, trying to separate me from my unborn child is what's best for me right?"
"I... I ...I .. don't know, but she only sees you having children with Sophia"
"Then she has got it all wrong. Yes, I will have children with Sophia but that will never make neglect this one. Never. Ever!" He emphasizes.
"Ace I'm scared"
"What are you scared of Luna?"
"Everything. A lot of people are against this pregnancy, there's threats coming in here and there and my father is just so disappointed in me right now. All of this is stressing me out a great deal. I don't even know what to expect. Every now and then I feel like something is going to go wrong. I feel so insecure." I explain worriedly and Ace takes me into his arms and gently stories my hair.
"I understand how you feel love, but I promise you that I'm going to fix this. I promise"
"Voila!" Someone shouts from the door and that makes Ace and I to jump in fright. We both turn and I almost melt when my gaze falls on Sophia. I quickly disengage myself from his hug. This is so messed up. Sophia is going to end me right now.
"There goes my darling fiancé and his so called baby mama. Am I interrupting something?"
"Sophia, what are you doing here?" Ace asks as he sits up from the couch.
"I think that question should go to you. What are you doing here, at our favorite restaurant, in our usual private lounge with your baby mama?" She asks furiously and I swallow hard.
"That is non of your business Sophia, Luna and I needed to talk and I figured we should meet here and have some quiet time. I don't think I needed your permission to do that"
"Well I think you do, I am your fucking fiancé"
"Language Sophia, there's a pregnant woman in here"
"Fuck you!" She spits out furiously as she charges towards us. Ace steps in front of me serving as a barrier between Sophia and I and I heave out a heavy sigh of relieve. The last thing I want right now is for Sophia to attack me physically. I don't have even the least strength to defend myself against her.
"Step away" She orders.
"No I will not"
"I don't want to hurt her, I just want to see clearly the face of the woman who is not afraid to be in the arms of an engaged man. The famous baby mam!"
"Sophia you are causing a scene"
"Can you really blame for acting this way?, I have been calling non-stop and you have been ignoring and when I turn on my phone I see a photo of my fiancé hugging a lady whom he claims to be his baby mama outside our favorite restaurant with the caption "Ace Damon's Secret Affair with Luna Ramora revealed!""
"What?!" I ask aghast as I abruptly sit up from the couch.
