"Thank you Mr. Ace" He exits the office and I get up from my chair and walk closer to Seven with a smile plastered on my face. He isn't smiling though.
"What a pleasant surprise, you are welcome to Heritage Empire" I say, extending my hand for a handshake not even expecting him to accept it but surprisingly, he does and we both shake hands. "Nice to meet you again after all these years"
"I can't say the same for you" He says with a frown and I just keep smiling.
"Still cool, please make yourself comfortable" I say, gesturing to him to take a seat on any of the sofas.
"That won't be necessary, this is going to be a brief talk"
"Alright then" I say as I make myself comfortable on the nearest sofa and carefully cross my right leg over the left. "So what brings you here?"
"The fact that you cheated on my cousin with my girlfriend. What exactly does that make you?"
"First, you have no idea how all this happened so you have no right to jump to conclusions about me being a cheat, second, Luna is not your girlfriend, she is your ex-girlfriend" I emphasize.
"And just who told you that?"
"Luna herself did, she said you two are over"
"Oh, so is that why you slept with her? Is that why you cheated on my cousin?"
"Seven, what exactly are you lamenting about? Is it the fact that I cheated on your cousin or the fact that I got your ex-girlfriend pregnant? What exactly is your cry?" I ask with a frown and he scoffs in annoyance. He walks around, clearly confused and frustrated about the whole issue.
"You know what? just forget it. It doesn't matter what I'm lamenting about. All I need you to do is stay away from Luna and focus on marrying Sophia"
"Some nerve you've there. What makes you think you have the right to lecture me about what I should and should not do?"
"I am Luna's boyfriend which means she is my woman and I am very possessive of her. Stay away from her"
"Seven even if you truly were Luna's boyfriend which you clearly aren't, I would never take orders from you. Luna is pregnant with my child and no one, I repeat no one can make me stay away from her, not even you, so cut it"
"You're not going to win this time around"
"Since when have we been in a competition Seven?" I ask with a creased brow, utterly surprised.
"In the past you had your way with all the girls I ever loved. You always found a way to snatch them from me, but not this time around. I won't let you have your way with Luna"
"Dude, she is already pregnant with my child, that is more than just having my way with her, I am connected to her!"
"Then I guess I have to find a way to break that connection" He threatens and I shoot him a fierce glance. That statement hasn't settled in my mind the way it should. What the hell does he mean by that?
"You don't plan on doing anything bad to Luna and my unborn baby, do you?"
"No! hell no! I would never do anything to hurt those two, I love them to bits. I'm going to make Luna mine and even that baby will become mine too. It's that easy. Why hurt them when I can have them all to myself?" He explains in amusement and I feel his words strike my very last nerve.
Do he just say what he just said?.
I rise up from the sofa and take gentle strides towards him with my fists clenched by my side and making sure not to break eye contact between us. When I am close enough, I stop in front of him, giving him a long and hard glare.
"How dare you!" I spit out in fury and take one step closer "How dare you threaten to take what's mine? I want you to take back what you just said"
"You are in no position to tell me what I can and cannot say. '' He says carelessly and I can feel my teeth gritting out of anger. I swear I'm about to lose it right now. I so badly want to punch him over and over again and make him eat back his words.
"And you think I'll just sit back and watch you have all your fun?"
"Of course not, I expect you to retaliate. But we're both men of power. Let's just watch and see how it goes"
"Luna already dumped you, why don't you just let her be?"
"I swear Ace, I would've tried to consider letting her go if someone else was responsible for her pregnancy, but now that it's you, I won't. I am not going to lose another girl to you again. I'm never leaving Luna for you, never! Get that into your thick skull"
"So this isn't really about love, you just don't want to loose to me anymore"
"Take it however you want"
"You don't deserve Luna, Seven. She had every right to end things with you. I will make sure that you don't get her. If this is a challenge, bring it on!" I say confidently and he nods as he takes a few steps backward.
"Let the best man win." With that, he takes long strides to the door and exits my office.
I swallow dryly, nervously, as I shove my hands into my trouser pockets and walk to the transparent glass wall that gives me a good view of the entire city beneath. This was just supposed to be me taking responsibility for my actions, me being there for my unborn child and having nothing to do with his or her mother, but now here comes a threat, a very serious threat that should not be taken lightly.
Seven actually has the audacity to threaten me.
What insolence!
And to think that he's not even doing it for love. He just doesn't want to lose to me.
Well... I will make sure that he loses again and I will make him realize that he is still just as pathetic as he was way back in school.
I'm so worked up that I can feel my nerves somersaulting all over my body and in order to calm them down, I take my phone and dial Luna's number. I haven't heard from her all day and I'm worried especially now that Seven has made his intentions clear.

Just imagine him married to Luna and having my child call him "dad" or "father". I will have to be six feet before that happens.
Luna's phone rings for quite a while before she picks.
"Hello Luna"
"Come over to Harmony" A deep manly voice instructs and I get all confused. Who is he and why is he answering Luna's calls... Wait... did he just mention "Harmony"?. That's my Uncle's hospi...

God please I hope nothing has happened to Luna. Why is she in the hospital? I'm going to lose if anything happens to either of them.
"What happened to Luna?" I ask, panicking.
"When you get here, ask the nurses to show you to Luna Ramora's ward, then you'll see for yourself.
Then the line goes dead.
Everyone is stepping on my nerves today. Right now my head is spinning like a roller coaster. I'm afraid and I just want to scream at the thoughts that keep creeping in my mind. I take off my tux jacket and carefully place it around my chair and take off my golden cufflinks and place them on my table. I carefully roll both sleeves of my white shirt up my elbows and straighten up the shirt. I pick up my car keys, wallet and phone from the table and bolt out of my office to that of my P.A's.
"Reschedule any meeting or appointment I am supposed to have today, something came up." I instruct and leave the office before he can protest.
Luna is definitely going to move in with me today!
