LUNA'S POV
"So when are you moving in with Kyle?" Ace asks as we walk to the door. We just arrived at my house and I feel very bloated. He made sure I finished my dinner and drank a good amount of water. I'm sure I have gained about five extra pounds today.
"Anytime he returns from his business trip"
"Are you sure you'll be fine living all alone?"
"Yes Ace, I will be just fine"
"Alright then, but I still have one favor to ask"
"And what could that be?"
"Allow me to stay and tuck you in bed"
"No Ace, I can't accept that. I'm sorry"
"Please Luna, I'm not going to spend the night, I just want to have you fall asleep in my arms. That's all." He pleads and I just shake my head.
"Ace this wrong, you have ignored Sophia all day, don't you think it's time for you to go see her?"
"Luna I know that okay, but I have my way of handling things. Leave Sophia to me. Please just let me spend some quality time with you"
"But we..." I'm about to contradict him again when I spot Seven's car parked in the garage. "No, God no, no" I lament
"What's wrong Luna?" Ace asks concerned.
"Seven is in there"
"What?... I mean...how did he get in?"
"He knows the security code" I quickly type my code and the door opens up. I walk into the living room with Ace following closely behind.
Just right!
Now I have two very stubborn men to deal with for the better part of the evening.
"Why does Seven know your security code?"
"Duh! He used to be my boyfriend, remember?"
"oh...and now that you two are no longer together why haven't you changed it?"
"I keep forgetting"
"Why is he nowhere to be found?"
He asks, scanning the living room as we both start taking the flight of stairs that leads to my bedroom.
"He should be in my bedroom"
"Your bedroom? What the hell is he doing in your bedroom?" He asks furiously.
"Waiting for me, I guess"
"Why in your bedroom?"
"How am I supposed to know?"
Once we arrive at my room door which is closed, I turn to look at Ace who has an eternal frown masked on his face.
He is mad!
"Please behave" I plead looking at him with searching eyes.
"I can't promise you that. As it is now I'm already very pissed off. This guy is invading your privacy!"
"I know, I very well know that Ace and I am going to warn him about it, just try to be calm, please"
"I can't promise you that"
"Tss.." I exclaim, shaking my head as I turn to the door and gently open it and we both walk in. I spot Seven sitting on my bed with my baby photo album in his hands.
"Seven, why are you here?"
"Hi honey" He greets me with a cheerful smile but that smile fades away when he sees Ace standing by my side.
"What is he doing here?" He asks, giving Ace a scornful glare, definitely annoyed.
"That question goes back to you, what are you doing here?" Ace fires back.
"Well... I came to check on my pregnant girlfriend" He says confidently and I can feel my nerves tense up.
"I'm not your girlfriend Seven, why is it so hard for you to understand?"
"And why is it so hard for you to understand that this relationship is not over yet?"
Here we go again, having the same conversation we have always had. I am so sick and tired of all this charade.
"You know what? I'm not in the mood to argue with you. Just leave already"
"Babe you can't..." He says as he tries to walk closer to me but Ace stands between us with a no nonsense look on.
"Step away Ace"
"She has asked you to leave"
"And I heard her clearly"
"Then leave" Ace urges as he points to the door.
"I don't take orders from you"
"Guys please stop this already" I cry as tears start spilling down my cheeks . The atmosphere is so tense that it is suffocating me. Ace already has his fists clenched by his side ready to throw a punch and the Seven I know will never back down without a fight. That is something I can't handle right now.
"shh, it's okay" Ace says as he turns around and engulfs me in a big Bear hug. "You are getting her more worked up Seven, just leave already!" Ace commands and Seven storms out of the bedroom. I honestly don't know why he keeps insisting on us being together again. All I know is that Seven doesn't love me the way he claims. There has to be another reason for his sudden persistence.
The Seven I know doesn't love me enough to keep fighting for me the way he does right now. Something is definitely up.
"Mind if I help you take your shower?" Ace asks calmly and I quietly shake my head. I so badly want to be pampered tonight and right now I don't care if it's someone else's fiancé. "Alright then, take off your clothes while I run the bath.
That's how he ends up bathing, dressing and tucking me in bed. I actually fall asleep in his arms but before I wake up the next morning, he is long gone.
