Sara thought it over it and decided, and she made a long list of herbal medicine.
The servants took note of what she was saying hurriedly. Sara urged, "Hurry up and go to the nearest pharmacy!"
The servants hurriedly left.
The family doctor stopped before asking, "What are those medicines?"
Sara patiently explained, "The traditional Gentiana herb... It reduces the viscosity of the blood, allowing it to circulate better. Madam Bishop is elderly, so I prescribed a lower dose than usual to prevent its effects from becoming adverse." After a pause, she added, "The dosage given will be sufficiently effective, I believe. Although this medicine is quite new, it has produced astounding effects in patients."
The family doctor was lost, as he had never heard of the medicine. He had been in the medical field for so many years. At that point, he couldn't care about Hank and Simon's presence anymore, "Young girl, who do you think you are? You don't even take life seriously! What if Madam Bishop's condition worsens after taking the medicine you prescribed?"
Rose had calmed down by then. She pushed away the servant and sneered at Sara, "Sara Martin, you caused the delay in sending grandma to the hospital. If anything happens to her, I won't let you off the hook!"
Sara took a deep breath and said to the family doctor, "Madam Bishop's condition couldn't possibly get any worse."
The family doctor was speechless.
Indeed, in that situation, it would be useless to send her to the hospital.
Rose had absolutely no medical knowledge. She stubbornly believed that only by sending Madam Bishop to the hospital would she recover. To her, Sara and Hank were obviously cooperating to kill Madam Bishop. Now, with her past grudges against Sara, coupled with her present animosity, she hated Sara even more, "Talk is cheap. It's always easier said than done. You're just looking for an excuse for not being able to cure Madam Bishop!"
Camilla took a fleeting glance at Hank and quickly pulled Rose aside, "Sister Rose, things have already gotten to this point. Let's just see how Miss Martin's medical skills are."
Rose sneered, "If Madam Bishop didn't get any better, I want you to die with her!"
Sara bit her lips, ignoring Rose. She turned around to look at Madam Bishop, noticng that her face seemed to grow paler even more quickly than before. She ordered the servants, "Close all the windows. Make sure it's tightly closed."
The servants hastily did as she said.
A few minutes later, the servants came in with the herbal medicine that Sara had requested.
Rose frowned, "All of these?!"
Alternative herbal medicine was still rare amongst the younger generation, as many people would opt for conventional medicine at a usual clinic or hospital whenever they fell ill.
However, there were benefits of both alternative herbal medicine and also conventional medicine, and occasionally could even complement each other.
Sara looked at Rose and took the herbal medicine from the tray. She requested a servant to prop Madam Bishop up with pillows, making it easier to swallow the medicine.
She was about to feed the first pill when Rose interrupted again, "Miss Martin, you'd better think it over!"
If one of the pills was the wrong medicine, she would be dead!
She paused for a second and then fed Madam Bishop the pill.
The paralyzed lower body and facial distortion made feeding her a difficult task. However, Sara was very patient, feeding her the medicines one by one. After that, she removed the pillows to allow Madam Bishop to lie on her back again and tucked her in the blanket.
She breathed a sigh of relief. The medicine should soon take effect.
Everyone had been watching Madam Bishop. Five minutes later, her whole body started trembling. Rose was shocked. She shrieked and rushed to the window. Simon frowned and took a step forward.
Madam Bishop's body kept trembling, the blanket gradually fell off. Rose was tearing as she glared accusingly at Sara, "Look at what you've done! Are you happy now?! Drag her to the police station for murdering Madam Bishop by poisoning her!"
The servants did not respond. They looked to Simon and Hank.
Sara frowned, "This is a normal reaction due to muscle contractions. It is normal, she'll be fine soon..."
Before she could finish her sentence, Madam Bishop suddenly grabbed Rose's wrist, making Rose shout again. Madam Bishop then turned her head and vomited blood.
Rose was shocked," Sara! Sara, you wicked b*tch! How dare you poisoned Madam Bishop! How dare you!"
Sara was wordless. She thought, "Did this woman think life was a TV drama?"
She explained helplessly, "The blood that Madam Bishop just spat out was blood clogged in her chest due to the blocked circulation. Her life would be in danger if she hadn't spat it out.".
"Bullsh*t!" Rose screamed in anger, forgetting her image, "Take this b*tch to the police station! I want her to pay for robbing grandma's life!"
"I've said it many times." A cold male voice, "You don't get to call the shots in this family. Are you absent-minded?"
Rose trembled instinctively. However, when she looked at Madam Bishop who was lying on the bed unconsciously, she thought of her bleak future and said, "Hank! Even now, you're still protecting her? You have been bewitched by her! Grandma... grandma was killed by her!"
Hank sneered, "If she's dead, let it be. She's lived a long life, isn't that enough?"
Rose was stunned. She did not expect Hank would say that in public.
Simon's gaze was disapproving as he looked at Hank, "Brother."
Hank didn't continue speaking. He looked at Sara, who was looking pale.
Honestly, he didn't care if Sara had cured Madam Bishop. However, since she had prescribed medicine, she would have been confident. It wouldn't hurt to wait for a while and see.
He looked at Rose and said, "Miss Dior, if you keep making such a racket, I will make you unable to speak."
Rose covered her mouth in horror.
At that moment, Madam Bishop let out two coughs on the bed. She was looking better and even gradually opening her eyes.
