Nina became relieved and said, "He took a leave. He's probably not feeling well. He'll come tomorrow."
William took a sip of the orange juice before continuing, "You know, my sister used to go out with Simon."
Nina's expression changed, "What?!"
William covered her lips and said, "... I was mistaken."
Nina clutched her hand and said, I heard that! William, spill it!"
William looked at Nina hesitantly, "...Promise me you wouldn't pick up on faults of Sara."
Nina assured, "I promise."
"I don't know how they got to know each other. Sara... we hardly talk to each other. I only heard that they were dating but Sara was very close to the other boys. Hence, they got into a lot of fights. I think Simon's parents even warned Sara to stay away from him or something...
Simon eventually transferred to another school."
Nina said, "So you're saying Sara cheated on Simon?!"
"Hmm, not exactly so..." William was in a dilemma and said, "I don't really know the details. Maybe you should ask Simon when he's here tomorrow."
Nina was so enraged that she felt like slapping Sara in the face, "Is there a need to ask?! That's how cheap an illegitimate daughter is!"
There was a hint of excitement in William's eyes. However, she pretended to comfort Nina, "Calm down, Nina. Let's start eating."
After lunch, Alex left as he had something to do. Freya toured Sara around the school.
When they got to the man-made lake of Scrollania College, Freya couldn't help but said, "Sara, I'm sorry that I made you sit with Alex today."
Sara shook her head, "It's okay. Alex's in fact a nice guy."
Freya didn't respond. She thought, "No one's going to believe you."
However, Freya didn't want to scare Sara of the evil deeds that Alex had done in the past. After all, Sara seemed to be a timid person.
"The lake's beautiful, isn't it?" Freya changed the topic.
Sara nodded.
Freya explained, "It was built by the founder of Scrollania College, who was the first headmaster. He built it for his wife and named it the Evening Star Lake. It is a great place for stargazing at night."
Sara said, "They must have loved each other very much."
Freya nodded, "Indeed." When she turned around, she noticed Sara's hair which was blowing in the air beside her ears, "Sara, why did you dress up in a tacky way?
Sara recalled Master Bishop's appraisal in the morning. So she asked carefully, "Really?
Freya nodded without hesitation.
Sara thought, "I have a normal sense of beauty. Master Bishop is the one who's abnormal."
Freya slicked a strand of Sara's hair behind her ear, "You've got really healthy hair, why did you make yourself look like a middle- aged woman?"
Sara wanted to stand up for Master Bishop's preference. So, she said against her will, "...I kind of like it."
Freya was speechless. She thought, "This girl has weird fashion taste."
Freya took off Sara's glasses and parted her bangs to the side. She was surprised, "Holy sh*t!"
Sara was frightened. She widened her eyes, "What's wrong?!"
Freya quickly put on glasses for Sara. She flushed awkwardly and coughed, "Hmm, you look prettier this way. There's no need for a change!"
Sara was wordless. She thought, "...Am I the one with a bad fashion sense then..."
Freya placed her hand on her chest. Sara looked like an angel from heaven. How could one be so beautiful?! The skin was as white and delicate as snow. It was like she was enticing people to pinch her. On top of that, her facial features were extremely delicate too. Especially when she widened her eyes, it was so adorable!
Freya was beautiful too. The people around her were also very good-looking. Hence, she had pretty high standards when it came to physical appearance. She typically didn't find the celebrity on the television very attractive either. Who knew she would have been stunned at one's facial features!
Fortunately she didn't dress up. Otherwise, everyone would be crazy for her.
Freya calmed herself and said, "Alright, let's go back. Class is starting soon."
Sara nodded, "Okay."
Freya thought, "Oh God, why was her so being so obedient!"
Without Sara knowing, Sara had been on the school website and addressed as a "Big Shot". All students had been gossiping about her relationship with Alex.
Freya already knew about the rumors but she kept it from Sara, fearing that it would upset her.
However, Freya had been overthinking. Sara had been treated that way throughout her life. Since kindergarten, all the friends that Sara had made would stay away from her when they found out that she was an illegitimate daughter and that her mother was a mistress. Sara was already used to it.
Orientation classes in Scrollania College ended earlier. Freya had asked some friends to go shopping together. Sara didn't go for sure. She had no money to splurge nor was she interested in shopping.
She purposely waited until everyone had left the classroom before packing up her things. Carrying her bag while walking out of the classrooms, there weren't many students left as expected.
She breathed a sigh of relief and walked toward the gate.
A black luxury car was waiting at the gate. It didn't look particularly eye-catching but it did look like it fetched quite the high price. In fact, there were probably only ten of those cars in the country.
Sara saw Bella was in the driver's seat so she walked over. When Bella wanted to get off to open the door for her, she quickly refused and got in the car by herself.
Bella asked as he started the car engine, "Miss Martin, is everything okay at school?"
Sara said, "Yes. Freya was nice to me."
Bella smiled, "Sometimes she doesn't think before she speaks. Don't let her words get to you."
Sara couldn't help giggling.
Neither Sara nor Bella were aware that someone had snapped a photo of Sara when she was getting in the car. The stranger uploaded it to the website with a captions - Truth About Getting A Sugar Daddy: Getting in a luxury car? Illegitimate daughter was really someone.
Back to the Bishop Residence, because of Bella's presence, no one dared to point their fingers at Sara, Hank Bishop wasn't around. Sara got down to working on her assignments.
Around 7 o'clock in the evening, there was a sound coming from the gate. Sara looked up and saw Hank walking in. Hank was expressionless but his eyes showed some depression. It was obvious he was in a bad mood. Seeing Sara, he said in a husky voice, "Hey girl, come here and give me a hug."
Sara wanted to refuse. However, she felt Master Bishop was menacing yet pitiful. Hence, to ensure she did not put her life on the line, she obliged, putting down the pen in her hand, and slowly walking over.
