In the next few days, Anya busied herself in designing her son’s room. She gave outmost importance and attentiveness to this project, so she was very serious. She had researched and thought of everything carefully. From the aesthetics to the safety of everything she would put on the child’s room. From the paints, furniture, toys and decoration. She made sure it was child-friendly and completely safe for her son.
On the other hand, Damon too worked busily in his office. In the past days, Damon had tried every reason to invite Anya out, with the excuse of the project. He was successful, but this also caused him a lot of piled works. So now, he was busy going through documents and reports.
Outside his office, a grandly and exquisitely dressed woman graced herself towards Damon’s office.
Her name was Thalia.

Beforehand, she had already called Damon to mention about her reports. Her company was one of the subsidiary companies the Castellanos have. Thalia held great importance to herself, so she never held doubt to take hold of everything she wants. Like the man of her desires.
So she boldly requested an audience with the uppermost head of the Castellanos, the boss himself, Damon Castellano.
She thought she had bargained and made herself clear enough to him, but surprisingly, when she arrived at the front desk of his office, she was actually told that a secretary will handle her business.
Thalia’s smile twitched.

She thought as she mulled over the man.
It was not less that Thalia tactfully expressed her interest at Damon, but the man was very unmoving.
Thalia thought highly of herself, so she felt it was beneath her to chase a man. She decided to slowly allure the man, and she could gradually catch his liking.
Anyway, what Thalia held on to still be this at ease is the fact that Damon was cold to everyone else. She would scoff at those desperately chasing and was ruthlessly thrown by Damon, so she decided not to follow their example. Anyway, she was beautiful, smart, and successful. An independent and self-made woman. She had everything to be proud of, so she was confident that everything she wants would fall to her hands eventually.
Even the man named Damon Castellano.
So that’s why, currently, Thalia sat uninterested with Damon’s head secretary sitting in front of her.
He was explaining something to her but she was not interested. So she changed the topic.
“I know all of that already. Anyway, let’s talk about something else. What is Damon up to these days?” She said with her red lips raised in a gossiping smile.
Gabe looked up and stared at the woman.
She was very beautiful and a fierce beauty. She was also confident and capable, a strong and independent woman. Right now, she was smiling so alluringly that Gabe can’t help but stare at her lips.
Gabe had liked Thalia for a long time. He was completely captivated by the femme fatale. But he also knew she only had interest to his boss.
But still, he felt he would give anything to have those eyes and lips smiling at him, so he often helped her meet and connect her to the boss.
It was a pathetic situation, but Gabe cannot reject those tantalizing eyes, so every time, he would give in to her wishes.

“The boss is busy at work, but he still has time. So if you mean is he meeting anyone, well, he does.” Gabe straight forwardly said with a casual tone.
“As always, there could never-“ Thalia started but suddenly froze when she took in the man’s words.
Had she heard it clearly? Damon was meeting someone.
“What did you say?” Her words started to rise as she questioned Gabe with intense eyes.
Gabe stared at those eyes but he pushed himself to not be affected.
“The boss is showing his great care at a certain woman these days. So I advise Ms. Thalia to reevaluate your actions.” Gabe did not beat around the bush and said these words directly.
Thalia’s pupils dilated as she was overwhelmed with surprise. How could this be? While she was buying her time, unexpectedly, someone was even faster than her? Thalia clenched her hands and bit her lips.
Who was Thalia? She was just the woman every man and even woman dreamed of. She had shown interest and attentiveness to Damon, something she never graced to anyone, yet, she was still brushed off by that very same man.
Yet, she would hear at this moment that someone caught his fancy? Who could be such a woman? Was she that good? Is she beautiful? Does she have an amazing body? How about her upbringing? What kind of tactics and scheme did she use to get Damon’s attention?
Thalia felt she was dying of curiosity. Aside from that, her heart tightened up and a sense of loss washed upon her. How could she just accept this? She was a woman who decided if she want something, then she would get it. Right now, she felt she was robbed.

Thalia’s eyes glinted and she pursed her red lips. “Who is she?”
