She looked again at Damon and showed a smile.

Damon looked calmly at the woman and waved at his secretary. “Let her be.” His cold voice rang.
Veronica’s smile deepened as she followed the scurrying figures of the secretaries with the side of her eyes. She then looked back at Damon.
“How are you, Damon?” She asked with an exaggerated concern.
“What brought you here, Miss Ambrosia?” Damon didn’t answer the question and just leaned on his seat.
“I came here with my offer again. and it will always be open for you.” Veronica said while smiling softly.
“Damon, you should stop being stubborn. I am here to help you. Can’t you see my heart? think of what you will get and receive if it is me you marry.” She added as she stepped closer.
Damon laughed lightly like what she was telling was completely ridiculous.
“Ms. Ambrosia, I can achieve ang get whatever I want without anyone’s help.” Damon raised his chin and brows at Veronica, completely unfazed.
“Ms. Ambrosia is so admirable and competent, and I wonder why you keep forcing yourself here?” He mocked as he tilted his head questioningly at her.

The smile on Veronica’s face vanished and she can’t help but glare at Damon.
