Anya was in her shop, designing pastries. She had one assistant for the counter while she bakes and designs pastries.
She was just done and is currently putting it inside the counter. After she wiped her hands with the clean towel, a sound by the door was heard. She turned towards the direction and she saw familiar people.
“Jessie and…” it was Jessie, her assistant in the pat. But she was not alone. Anya looked towards the person behind Jessie and was taken a back.
“Randy?”

The three of them sat around in a single table as Anya looked at the two of them. “So you two are… together?” Anya started.
This made Jessie blush as she lowered her head. While Randy took Jessie’s hand and looked at her.
Jessie looked up and the both of them looked at each other.
Remembering what happened, Randy went back in the city when he’s head was already cleared.
The feelings he had for Veronica that he mistook for love, was now washed away. Even he, when he was finally sober, didn’t know how could he fall in love with such a woman.
Maybe he was fascinated by her charm. And that, he justified his feelings because he never met any other woman from his world.
Everyone was like Veronica. Charming, rich, high maintenance, and arrogant. But she was good at bewitching people, that even Randy didn’t escape from her claws.
He thought it was really love.
Until he met Jessie.
She was like a breath of fresh air to him. Pure and innocent, lovely and bright. She made his heart warm and at ease. And when he broke her heart, his heart broke too. When he left, his heart was left with her.
So when he cleared his head and got his conviction, he came back. He was very guilty from betraying Anya, and he felt lost when he broke up with Jessie. His heart was in this city, as he finally felt the things he never knew he needed.
When he came back, he first looked for Jessie to say sorry to her.
At first, Jessie was still very angry at him and didn’t let him in her heart again. But Randy doesn’t plan on giving up. So he kept pursuing Jessie.
Jessie was slowly softening, but the one that bothered and hurt her still rose.
“You hurt Miss Anya. You broke a part the family and home I found in this city.” This was what hurt Jessie most.
Her miss was ruined and the studio she built her dreams and aspiration was disbanded. These were the major reasons Jessie can’t forgive Randy.
Randy knew of all of this, but he planned to redeem and repay all the damages he had done. “I am willing to go to Miss Anya. That is one of my plans why I came back here. I want to repay
all the things I have broke and taken away from all the people I have hurt.” These were Randy’s sincere words.
Jessie was shocked by this. It was not easy to redeem and pay for your sins, but Randy was going to do it.
And also, who in life doesn’t make a mistake? When Jessie saw Randy’s sincerity, she accepted him once again.
That’s why today, they were here in front of Anya, asking for forgiveness.
Anya looked at the two of them, and can’t help but also be happy. She had first hand saw the romance and bond develop between the two of them. and she was glad they found each other again.
Randy stood up from his seat and gave a deep bow to Anya.
“Miss Anya, I want to express my sincere apology. I have been lost in the way and was muddled headed, but I plan to take responsibility of all my actions.” Randy sincerely said to Anya.
Even thought Anya was hurt and disappointed with Randy, what he is doing now touched her heart.
“I forgive you.” In the bottom of her heart, she accepts his apology.
“And I am very happy for the two of you. It’s great that you are together now.” She added and smiled softly to them.
Randy raised his head and express his gratefulness and reverence to Anya’s mercy. Anya chuckled with this and waved her hand.
“That was just business. But what we have now, learnings, forgiveness, and relationships, these are more important than anything.” She expressed to them just as sincere.
Randy’s eyes glinted as he was determined.
“Miss, I’ll help you build the studio again.” He offered. Jessie too nodded and looked at Anya.
“Yes, Miss. We will help. We’ll assist you in anything.” Jessie said with heartfelt words. This made Anya’s heart warm and she smiled at the two.
“Thank you. Anyway, if I ever start over, I think it would not be impossible. In the past, I started with nothing too, so for the second time around, I believe it will be possible.” She smiled as response to them.
“And I can see you held the studio dear to your hearts too? Then I’ll accept. With all of you, then the studio will have a chance.” She added.
The three of them smiled and an inspiration rose in their hearts.
After the emotional and heavy talk, they started lighter conversation. Anya also treated them to pastries.
“Miss, I didn’t know you bake so good!” Jessie exclaimed as she tasted one of Anya’s cakes. Anya chuckled and offered more sweets to them.
After eating and saying their goodbyes, Randy and Jessie took their leave. Anya sent them off and waved at them.
A knew hope rose in her heart with this meeting.

Anya went back to work for a few more moments.
She heard the sound of the door and turned towards the direction. She smiled as she saw Damon.
“Damon!” She called out with a smile.
Damon returned her smile and approach her. He planted a kiss on her temples.
Anya looked up at him while smiling softly. Until her eyes passed through his back and saw someone.
“Alex?” She exclaimed happily. Alex smiled at her and nodded.
“Anya,” He called out to her. When he saw her today, he felt that the decision he made was right.
Because now, he finally saw the light and brightness of her eyes came back.
“I heard how he saved you back then. So I’ll give him the reward of seeing you.” Damon said playfully as he gave an aloof look at Alex.
He kind of hinted that Alex had special feelings for Anya. He wanted to be mad, but his gratefulness for his friend exceeded this more.
Without him, who knew what will happen to Anya?
So he owe a great debt to Alex. And in addition, he was his good friend. He knew Alex as a person, and he was loyal and a good friend. Damon cherishes this kind of people. So, he won’t be petty in attacking someone who only means good to his family.
The two men looked at each other, and there was a tacit understanding. A one who was the woman’s man, and the one who stepped back.
Anya was oblivious to what commenced between the two as she happily pulled at the two men towards a table.
“You two must be hungry. How about you snack for a while. Alex, your just in time, as your favorite is in stock! Wait, I’ll get your pastries.” Anya happily said and scurried off to fetch some snacks for them.
The two men sat on the table and could only watch contently at the dear woman who was so bright it gave life to the whole place.
