Anya was in the room, in a call with Marie. “So, how’s life as a housewife?” Marie teased. Anya chuckled at her friend’s craziness.
“Stop it. It’s not like that.” She said defensively, but she was very happy with her life now. “Tch. You thinned skinned woman.”
They both laughed at each other.
They chatted for a while and when Marie was called by a colleague, she needed to drop the phone.
Anya bid her goodbye to her friend and hanged the phone.
After she dropped the phone, she then heard a sound from the door. She turned to see Damon entering.
“Welcome home.” Anya greeted gently.
When Damon heard this, he felt all the fatigue and tiredness was lifted away. He took of his coat, and still with his white button down shirt, he hugged Anya’s waist and laid beside her. Anya chuckled as she caressed his face.
“Tired?” She whispered softly.
Damon lifted his face to look at her. He then planted a kiss on her plump red lips. “Not anymore.” He smiled playfully.
Anya smiled and slapped his arms slightly. Damon chuckled and planted a kiss once again on her sweet lips.
“Daddy! Mommy!” A sudden cheer from a little guy sounded and both Anya and Damon separated quickly.
Allen jumped on the bed between them and wiggled towards his parents. “Daddy, mommy! Monmon too!” He exclaimed as he pouted.
Anya and Damon looked at each other and chuckled.
They then attacked their little son with tickles and soon, the room as filled with laughter.

The next days, the fight between the companies were going intense. Damon started to invest more on the competition. This made the competition became head on.
This made a lot of shareholders became dissatisfied. But also, those who truly have clear eyes, saw that the president of the Castellanos company is getting serious, they backed off. The people who could clearly saw the situation, and knew Damon, know how cunning and talented this young man is. So they didn’t dare to go against him, and they turned their back son the Ambrosia.
Even so, they were still more shareholders who was in the side of the Ambrosia. They were convinced by Mike, and also George, who had a strong backing.
All in all, it was a tight fight.
Damon was on his office, listening to the reports from Willimas.
“Sir, some shareholders are withdrawing their shares and investments.” These sums the report. When Damon heard this, he was still calm. He nodded to Gabe and dismissed him.
Gabe was reluctant, as he was the one starting to be anxious for his boss. But looking at Damon’s calm appearance, he can only sigh and trust his boss decisions and abilities.
Damon was truly very calm. He had a complete plan for this. He had made his actions and connections, and he was also confident.
Beforehand, he knew something like this will happened. In every business, there is always pests and snakes around. This time, it revealed who are these people.
Damon had planned for this already, as he knew someone might challenge his authority. The people who are doubtful, envious, and greedy of him and his power was no less. And he grew up dealing with all of them.
If something like this will give him a hard time, then he won’t be in his place in the first place. He became the leader of the Castellanos Group of Company at a young age, and that was not something to oversee.
He grew up in these fierce battles, and for Damon, it was not enough to be of trouble for him. And because of that, every day, he was very casual. He would pick up Anya and together, they would pick up Allen from the daycare.
He went down the car and entered Anya’s shop. He opened this for her, as he saw she was happy with her shop at the other city. So, when they came back at the capital, he offered if she wanted to continue it.
A reason for it too, because Damon fell in love with her pastries. He felt she was so good at it, and if she wanted to pursue it, he will gladly support her.
Anya also wanted to continue baking. She felt happy, and she treat it as a pass time. Before she planned to pursue her career in designing again, she decided to bake for the time being.
Because of that, Anya’s pastry shop was opened.
Damon entered the shop and saw her by the counter. She was glowing, as she smiled and handed orders to the customer.
His heart was warm as he walked to her.
Anya saw him too and her eyes brightened as well.
“You’re here!” She exclaimed. Anya turned around from the counter to go to him. Damon directly wrapped his arms on her waist and gave her a peck.
“Ready?” He asked. After this, they will pick up Allen from daycare.
Anya nodded and accepted his hand. They both went out and got in the car to head to the daycare.
When they arrived, it was already dismissal time. They were just in time to see Allen going out of the building.
The child saw his parents and he ran to them. “Mommy! Daddy!” He happily hugged them.
Damon picked him up while Anya gave him a kiss on the cheeks. Damon turned to Anya and suggested.
“Shall we eat dinner first?” Anya thought and nodded.
“It’s almost time for dinner.” She agreed.
Damon decided for them to eat out.
“Mommy! Cake!” Allen requested. It was not only Damon who was in love with Anya’s pastries, but also the little guy.
Damon and Anya chuckled as they headed to the car.
“Let’s eat dinner first, then will go to Mommy’s shop?” Damon coaxed his son. Allen nodded happily and smiled excitedly.
The three of them had smiled on their faces as they headed to a nearby restaurant. When they arrived, they went out of the car.
The people can’t help but turn to this eye catching family.
Damon and Anya both held Allen’s little hands who was in their middle. The family of three entered the restaurant happily.

Meters away from the restaurant, a car was parked. Veronica was inside, staring furiously at the little family.
Jealousy and dissatisfaction filled her eyes. It shouldn’t be like this!
She complained. Why are they being happy? Why is Damon still so nonchalant! Veronica’s eyes reddened as she watched Anya.
This woman was really an eyesore! Why can’t Damon leave her?! She was nothing now! What kind of food did she feed the man for him to be so hooked like this?
She didn’t expect the feelings of the two would be this strong, and as after all that happened, they were still together.
Veronica stared disdainfully at the restaurant. How hateful!
