As she heard Derrick's words, Lillian's eyes widened her eyes in surprise.
Her eyes were full of resentment and confusion. She thought, 'Why does everyone want to punish me?'
Derrick frowned while looking at the expression on Lillian's face. Just as he thought, Lillian was ignorant and selfish.
He thought, 'Lillian claimed that Gloria was pretending to be pitiful. I know better than anyone else. If what Lillian said was true, Gloria wouldn't have been so tense when she confronted me. Not to mention that Gloria was so nervous after I found out about her secret.
If Gloria wanted to gain others' sympathy in such a way, she should have lifted her shirt and shown the monstrous scar on her waist to everyone.
Yet Gloria did not do so. She put on a lot of clothes and wrapped herself up. She would not let anyone touch her.
If not for a coincidence, I think she would've kept it a secret forever.'
Derrick pondered for a moment, and then he took out his phone and made a call. He said a few words to the person on the other end of the line, and soon, two tall men came in from outside the door.
When Derrick saw them, he pointed to Lillian, who was slumping on the ground and said, "This is Miss Santos. She says she wants to learn how to swim. It just so happens that there is a pond in my garden. Teach her. Make sure she learns how to swim. And don't worry, Miss Santos doesn't mind going through a hard time learning how to swim."
The two pack members quickly understood what Derrick meant. They pulled Lillian up from the ground.
"Let go of me! I don't want to learn to swim! Help!" Lillian struggled with all her strength, but the two men were so strong, and she was no match for them at all. She could not break free no matter what.
They exerted a bit of strength, and Lillian felt that her arms were going to break.
"Mr. Fisher! You can't do this to me! You can't! I will sue you! I will! I mean it!" as Lillian was dragged out, she kept roaring madly.
She only got to see that Derrick, whom she had been obsessed with, had his hands in his pockets.
Derrick raised his head and said to the two men, "Keep her alive. My time is too precious to be spent on unnecessary trouble."
"Noted, Alpha Derrick."
"Mr. Fisher, you can't do this to me! Don't be fooled by Gloria's act! I am the one for you! Not her!" Lillian cried, aggrieved.
"Miss Santos, have I told you that you sickened me so much?" Derrick said impatiently.
"What did you say? Mr. Fisher!" Lillian looked at Derrick, her eyes red.
"Didn't you understand what Patrick just said? You shouldn't have let Gloria replace you, or you wouldn't have been punished twice today. You're such a joke. You know I am the one behind all this, and yet you are still in your pitiful little world and fantasize that I was fooled. Do you think I'm as stupid as you are?" Derrick said coldly.
Derrick knew Patrick well. So it was strange that Patrick only gave Lillian a simple punishment and then left with his subordinates.
Derrick did not know the reason why Patrick did so. In fact, it was because he had promised Gloria that he would spare Lillian's life.
Therefore, Patrick brought Lillian over. He wanted to leave Lillian to Derrick and let Derrick deal with her.
However, Patrick behaved so weirdly this time, and Derrick had no idea why. And because of that, he wouldn't kill Lillian.
The two men dragged Lillian to the pond. It had been cleaned up by the workers. Fish were swimming in the water, and it was decorated with floating leaves.
They carried Lillian and threw her directly into the pond.
Lillian struggled to get up, but the bottom of the pond was covered in mud. She couldn't keep her balance because of the slippery ground under the water.
Finally, she managed to stand up. She wanted to get back to the shore, yet the two men threw her into the pond again.
This time, one of them walked down the pond and reached out to press Lillian's head into the water.
"Let go! You are breaking the law!" Lillian struggled to raise her head and shouted.
"Looks like you've still got a lot to learn when it comes to swimming," he said coldly. He pushed harder, making it impossible for Lillian to raise her head. She choked on a lot of water.
After going through all these, Lillian realized that there was nothing she could do or say to change her current situation. Desperation gradually overwhelmed her.
Derrick sat in the living room instead of going to the pond in the back garden to see how Lillian was punished. He was watching TV shows in the living room.
More than half an hour later, the two pack members came back. They said, "Alpha Derrick, we taught her to swim as you requested, but she was so stupid, and she choked on too much water. Her condition made it impossible for her to continue."
"Where is she?" Derrick asked. He didn't even take his eyes off the TV.
"In the back garden."
"I see." Derrick raised his wrist to check the time. "It's getting late. Send Miss Santos off."
"Yes, Alpha Derrick."
It was getting dark. At the door of the villa, a woman was thrown out.
Lillian was aching all over. Her throat was killing her. She kept coughing violently due to the previous choke.
She was drenched. When the night wind blew, Lillian felt so cold and shivered as she walked along the road.
Her eyes were filled with hatred. She looked ferocious, as if she wanted to devour the world.
She thought with resentment, 'Gloria! It's all Gloria! It's all her fault! If it weren't for Gloria, I wouldn't have suffered so much! Gloria said she would plead for me. What a liar! A hypocrite! She didn't plead for me at all!'
Lillian limped as the water kept dripping from her soaked clothes. An angry, bitter thought occupied her mind. She thought, 'I will surely take my revenge. Gloria, you're not getting away with this.'
