The man, feeling the intensity of Lily's labored breathing, removed his hand from her mouth. Lily, in desperate need of air, took a sharp inhale to replenish her starved lungs. Confusion and fear filled her eyes as she mustered the strength to confront the stranger before her.
With a trembling voice, she finally spoke, "Who do you think you are to grab me like this? Who are you?"
Lily had only been aware of Matthew and Garrett as the sons of Alpha Jack. Could there be another child of the alpha? Was this person before her the son of Garrett? Her mind raced with questions.
'Give me control Lily. I'll put this insolent pup in his place!' Dina growled.
Daniel let out a lustful laugh. His voice dripped with arrogance as he uttered, "Are you really pretending not to know who I am? You must be a very experienced mistress to know how to rile males up!"
"I am not a mistress!" Lily snapped which only caused Daniel to laugh even more.
"I am Daniel, the sole grandson of Alpha Jack. In due time, the Blue Mystic pack will rightfully be mine as my uncle takes over the Grey Blood pack. Now, are you willing to submit yourself to me?"
Daniel's words hung in the air, filled with entitlement and expectation. He anticipated that Lily would succumb to his advances, seducing him to maintain her safety and well-being. However, to his surprise, Lily's expression hardened, and her eyes changed colors as her wolf took over.
Lily glared at him defiantly. "No," she snarled, her voice laced with determination.
"What do you mean, no?" Daniel questioned, clearly taken aback by her refusal.
"I mean no. I will not be your mistress," Lily repeated firmly, her voice unwavering. "Now release me!" Her plea held a hint of desperation as she pleaded for her freedom, her voice echoing with the strength of her will.
Unyielding, Lily continued to shout for help, her cries reverberating through the surrounding area. The commotion caused Daniel to reassess his actions, as the consequences of his behavior began to dawn on him. While Alpha Jack turned a blind eye to many of his grandson's actions, pursuing his mistress would undoubtedly challenge his authority. The thought of enduring another beating from his grandfather was enough to sober Daniel from his lustful desires. Realizing that Lily was not worth the trouble, he glared at her resentfully and released his grip.
Seizing the opportunity, Lily swiftly swiped at Daniel causing him to back away before she turned to flee, hoping to distance herself from this dangerous encounter. But Daniel's irritation got the better of him, and he snatched her by her hair, his intention to deliver another punishing blow.
However, Lily, fueled by a surge of adrenaline and determination, swung her elbow back with all her might, connecting solidly with Daniel's chest. The force of the blow forced him to release her, granting her a fleeting moment of escape.
Driven by anger and frustration, Daniel growled menacingly, "You bitch! Get back here!" He lunged forward, chasing after Lily with unbridled fury.
The heels she wore slowed her down, and before long, Daniel caught up to her. Without hesitation, he kicked her with brutal force, causing Lily to stumble and fall headlong into a nearby flower field. In the midst of her fall, her head struck a rock, and sharp branches from a bush pierced her body, inflicting additional pain and injury.
Daniel yanked her up from the ground by her hair and delivered another vicious slap across her face. The strength of a Beta male surpassed what she could endure, but she refused to surrender. In a desperate attempt to defend herself, Lily lashed out, punching and scratching at her assailant, fighting against the onslaught of blows.
Yet, a sudden wave of dizziness engulfed Lily, and her ears began to ring, drowning out Daniel's enraged shouts. Her cheeks burned with the searing pain of the strikes, and blood stained her lips.
'We need to submit. He's going to end up killing us,' Lily thought.
'We are going to be a Luna. We can never submit. We only submit to our Alpha and he is not our Alpha,' Dina argued refusing to give control back to Lily, knowing that she would bare her neck to Daniel to get him to stop.
Daniel's appetite for dominance remained insatiable. "You know what? I've changed my mind. I think I am going to teach you your place after all. After I am done with you, you'll be begging for mercy!" he declared with a sadistic edge in his voice, relishing in the power he held over her.
As Daniel began ripping at her lavender dress off her, a group of omegas arrived on the scene. Witnessing Lily's distress, they acted swiftly, positioning themselves between her and Daniel.
One of the omegas, his voice laced with concern, addressed Daniel, "Beta Daniel, what is happening here?"
Daniel composed himself, smoothing down his disheveled hair and straightening his clothes, a facade of innocence covering his true nature. "This woman tried to seduce me, and I was merely teaching her a lesson," he claimed, attempting to justify his disgraceful actions.
The omegas exchanged worried glances, their expressions reflecting disbelief and concern. Deep down, they knew there was more to this story, a tale of abuse and power gone awry. Some of the omegas rushed to report that Lily had an accident.
Garrett and Alpha Jack hurried downstairs to find Lily lying on the sofa, weak and pale. Seeing this, Garrett's eyes widened and he rushed to Lily's side.
'I will rip the throat out of whoever put his hands on her!' Berric roared.
"Calm yourself Garrett. I will not have fighting in the pack house," Alpha Jack ordered.
"Who did this to her? What happened?" Garrett asked.
Daniel wanted to take control of the situation, so he said, "Grandpa, that maid tried to seduce me in the garden. When I didn't accept her, she became aggressive. I had no choice but to show her her place as an omega. Grandpa, I'd advise you expel someone like her from your pack."
