"Xord, it's okay, promise. Don't pick me up. I'm close to home too," Astreille said with a laugh while talking to her boyfriend on the phone.
"Astreille, you went to a place like that at this hour. Who wouldn't worry about your condition?" angry answer of the young man.
Astreille momentarily stopped the vehicle on the side of the road. "Xord, don't be mad at me. Marie just had an asthma attack this morning so I have to leave. I also don't want to disturb you because you might be asleep, then I can take care of myself," she added.
"I'm sorry, baby. I was just worried. Please get home safely," the boyfriend replied calmly.
Astreille smiled sweetly before hanging up. He turned on the car's engine again to start it, but he braked hard when a woman blocked his car. Astreille's eyes widened in surprise when she saw a woman covered with blood.
The girl immediately got out of the car before joining the woman in front of her car.
"Oh gosh! Are you okay?" Astreille asked confusedly as she watched the woman in front of her with a bleeding stomach.
"P-Please, help. T-They want to kill me," he pleaded as he held out his hand.
Astreille carefully supported the crying girl to sit in front of her car, but at the same time they were surprised when a car stopped in front of them. Out of there the two men focused their attention on Astreille's companion.
"Move and give that lady to me," the armed man boldly commanded.
Astreille covered the woman with her own body. "What do you need from her?"
"Just give her to me, if you don't want to get involved in this, just give her to us," the guy added.
The girl shook her head quickly. "You're the one who ran away in front of me. You're planning to kill this woman behind me!"
The girl was alerted when the man's gun pointed at her. He immediately kicked her arm but she was able to release the gun. She ran towards the second guy who took his gun also, he kicked the man's face hard before twisting his arm.
He hurriedly pulled the woman in the back before pushing her into the car.
"Stay here on the backseat," the girl commanded forcefully before confronting the two men whose injured parts were now all over their bodies.
She bent down to avoid the locust hitting her head, she took the dagger inside her pocket before aiming it in their direction. His attention was diverted because of what he did so he immediately got into the car. He turned on the engine while the two men in the vehicle were still shooting.
Astreille bit her lip before holding the steering wheels tightly. He immediately started the vehicle before running over the two men with the side of the vehicle. He backed the car again before quickly driving it away from them.
She took a deep breath when they finally got away from those men. He also heard the accented cry of the woman he rescued in the background.
Astreille drove even faster into the subdivision where his home was. She'll only feel safe if they're inside home.
"Hey, we're here," Astreille calmly said to his companion as he entered the car inside the mansion.
"W-Where are w-we?" afraid to question it.
"In my house. Don't be afraid of me, I'll never hurt you. Come on. Let's heal your wound."
She got out of the car to open it, she carefully accompanied her inside her house. He turned on the light in the living room so they wouldn't have an accident on the stairs.
She can hear the woman groaning in pain as they go upstairs. When Astreille sat the woman down, she turned on the light to find the first aid kit.
"You lost too much blood. We need to see your situation with the doctor," Astreille said worriedly when she saw how the blood covered the visitor's clothes.
"I d-don't want to go anywhere. I'm s-scared," she moaned.
"I'm sorry. I'll call my personal doctor, we can't help but see that with the experts. Are you okay? The pain's bearable, right?"
The woman nodded. "I can still handle it. T-Thank you ..."
"Astreille. My name is Astreille. You?"
"I'm M-Miyuki. S-Sorry for bothering you. You're almost doomed because of me," she cried.
The girl shook her head. "It's nothing. You're here at my house first while your wounds aren't healing."
"I'm sorry s-for the inconvenience. And thank you very much," its full of sincerity untag.
"You're welcome."
Astreille got up from her knees before calling the trusted doctor. After 3 rings, she picked up.
"Astreille?"
"Hey, Doc. Haley. I need your help right now, are you free?" opening of the maiden to the interlocutor.
"Ofcourse, sweetheart. What happened? Did something happen to you? I'll be there within 5 minutes." Astreille breathed a sigh of relief at what he said.
"I'm fine, doc. Someone's in my house right now and she needs help because she lost too much blood. Someone tried to kill this girl, I think, "Astreille added.
"Okay. I'll be there soon. Make sure to put pressure on the wound to stop the bleeding."
"Thanks, doc."
Astreille rejoined the girl lying on the bed. She caressed the woman's hair who's still crying in pain.
"You'll get better soon, don't worry," he whispered.
"I c-can still handle it."
"Why are you crying? Maybe you're just forcing me, please tell me if you need anything," Astreille replied confused.
"I was too scared a while ago. I thought I was going to die. This wound, earlier this afternoon. They chased me for almost 10 hours, some houses I tried to hide but people were pushing me . Some cars I tried to stop to help me but no one ever tried to help me. I was too scared a while ago, I'm glad that I survived hiding inside a forest. N-When I saw your car, I felt like someone would help me, and I wasn't wrong, "she cried.
Astreille smiled at what she heard. "I'm sorry, I was late. You'll feel better soon, Miyuki."
