The woman hugged the pillow tightly as she patiently waited for her husband to return home.
She saw Trigger leaving the house a while ago. He didn't know how to ask for it because it might hurt him later.
To this day she is still confused as to why her husband is angry. The man has long wanted to be free from their marriage, so he will give it up. But why did he make singing like a crime?
She suddenly remembered what he said a while ago. He's blaming her for being a bitch and an attention seeker.
Maybe she thinks she's flirting because she agreed to marry another man. He doesn't know how hard it is for her to sign that annulment paper when the man she loves is Trigger.
He closed his eyes tightly before caressing the bulging belly. "I'm sorry about this situation right now, baby. It'll be better soon."
He shuddered slightly when he heard the sound of the car from outside. He quickly got up from his seat to open up to the wife.
The man, who had almost fallen into a state of intoxication, immediately appeared before her. She quickly held his body to prevent him from falling.
"Trigger, s-wait, get organized first," he scolded her as he helped her sit on the sofa.
When he got to the living room he carefully sat it down on the sofa. She even backed away when the man angrily broke her arm.
"Get off me, you filthy witch. I hate how your skin touches mine so get off!" She flinched when he angrily shouted at her.
His wife was drunk.
That's what he kept imprinting on his mind. If it hurts him again, it's just because of drunkenness.
"Trigger, go to bed so you can rest," he calmly commanded her while still trying to support his wife.
"I said get off!"
He pulled his arm away again so he was immediately released.
Trigger rubbed his face with both hands while still slightly panting. Miracle just stared at her husband who's so helpless right now.
"B-Why are you drunk? What's wrong with you, Trigger?"
The wife slowly looked up at him. He let out a dangerous laugh. "You're asking me what's happening to me? You're the very reason why my life's a mess ever since, so how dare you ask me, Miracle? How dare you make me feel this way!"
She flinched when he stood up from his seat to grab her arm. He closed his eyes tightly as he fell on the sofa due to its strong thrust.
"You ruined my life, Miracle. You ruined my sanity," he added.
He grabbed her upright again and gently touched her jaw. "You fooled me."
"I never n-cheated on you, Trigger. You know that," his voice growled in response.
His face darkened even more.
"We were just fine a while ago, enjoying each other's company. But you ruined that when you fucking signed that goddamn paper! What do you really want, Miracle?" It's a thrilling question. "If you want my money, I can fucking give it to you. If you want a big mansion bigger than this house, I can fucking give it to you too! Stop fooling me like I'm your fucking toy!"
Weeping, the young woman struggled away from it, but the man held her too tightly.
"Trigger, m-listen to me first. I feel sorry for you, let's not make this situation worse--"
"Why did you sign that paper, Miracle? Tell me." The man's voice became soft, he could also see how his eyes watered as if he would cry at any moment.
"To marry another man? What ?! For others to cheat and flirt with you ?! What--"
"I want you to have the freedom that you want, Trigger. I want you to be happy so I signed it."
The man's grip on her loosened. It bowed for a few seconds before looking up again. The girl was even surprised to see him crying.
"But what if I don't want you to give that freedom to me? What if I wanted you to be selfish?" he asked with tears in his eyes.
The girl sobbed. "So you could hurt me even more?" She let go from his grip. "You said you wanted to see me suffering in your arms, Trigger. And I don't want that. I won't let the man I love hurt me even more. Because when you're the one who repeatedly hurt me. Feel I ... "Next he sobbed. "I feel like I'll just forgive you again and again."
"And it hurts so much for me then, Trigger. It hurts so much for me to be a fool when it comes to you. I used to be a perfectionist and wise student, I used to be a perfect woman but when it comes to you I become a fool and I'm submissive. I can't fight you, my parents, because I love you all. So if I marry another man and if he hurts me, I don't know. I don't know as long as I don't know. I know you're not the one who's hurting me. I'd rather accept that someone else can kill me, than you people I look up to. I would rather die at the hands of someone else, Trigger, "she added.
The man bowed after he said that. A long silence prevailed between the two of them.
Until Trigger took a step forward before hugging her body. The man stuck his face in her neck and there she cried.
"You're driving me crazy, Miracle. I don't know what's going on with me. I feel like you're all not telling the truth. I don't know who to believe anymore. I'm fucking messed up. You're driving me all crazy with your lies , "his voice was full of resentment.
He let go from that hug before throwing death glares over her.
"Whatever lies you tell me. I still want to see you suffering, in my arms, Miracle. You can't get out of this relationship."
