Astreille kept on trying to remove the tie around her wrist but she's just hurting herself. She heard right from the young man that it would go alone, and she'll never let Xord die because of her.
"Ready your fucking guns. And Reid! Take this woman with you, go through the back of the warehouse so that man can't catch you!" Asero shouted before running out with some of the crew.
Astreille cried silently when she saw how many those guys were. He's scared for Xord especially and he'll fight alone. He can't survive that fight, especially since he's alone.
The girl turned behind her when she felt the rope loosen on her wrist. A man dragged her harshly with other men.
Astreille's forehead immediately frowned when she saw the familiar woman accompany them. That's Reid Ferrer. She knows that woman! He once worked at the agency.
"Hi, Astreille. Nice to meet you again," he said smiling and glared at her.
Astreille struggled to break free from the hold of the two men on her.
"You bitch, are you still alive? I thought you were swept away by the whirlwind of your bad behavior," Astreille replied.
Reid unbelievably looked at her. "Now you got the nerves to answer back?" It approached him before pulling his hair. "Where did you learn that? From your boyfriend? You're like that stupid Arrow, learned to be brave because Froze was there next to him."
Astreille chuckled with that. "You're pissed off because Arrow is prettier than you? Or are you jealous because he's richer than you? Where did you plant your anger on Arrow? Ah, maybe you're confused about your own personality so you're getting angry" the man because you know he's more than you? " he teases here.
Reid gritted her teeth in anger. "Take that woman out of here! Or if you want to be disgusted first, go on." Reid smirked devilishly at her.
The two men beside Astreille smirked. "Okay, boss!"
"As if they can," she whispered before kicking the other guy's stomach. The girl quickly punched the man in front of her before pulling his gun out of his pocket.
She immediately pointed the gun at Reid who was about to shoot her.
"Go on, shoot me and your head will fucking explode. Challenge me, Reid, now be brave and say things when we're equally strong."
The girl's chest rose lower as she looked around.
"What? Can't find someone to help you? Are you only strong when you have a helper? What a pity," Astreille teased her.
The woman in front of them lost focus so Astreille immediately fired loudly causing Reid to release the gun he was holding. She also shot Reid's palm who shouted in pain.
"Oh, I'm sorry, I was touched," the girl said angrily before turning away.
Astreille roamed her eyes around the place to find where she could escape. He saw the big road on the side so he ran quickly in that direction.
"Fuck! Chase that woman!"
He was about to leave when suddenly someone snatched the gun he was holding. She gasped when four men grabbed her arms to stop her from escaping.
Astreille turned to Reid who was now walking closer to her.
"You really think you can escape this place, alive? Think again, honey." He turned to the men behind him. "Drag her out of here and hide her in a safe place. Xord can't find her."
The four men saluted him before pulling him away. Astreille glared sharply at Reid who was now grinning at him.
She'll fucking kill that woman once she had a chance.
"Get off me, you assholes! Where are you taking me!" he shouted as he tried to escape.
They put him in a car parked on the side of the road. Whether he wanted to run away, two men were riding on either side of him.
"What! Let go--" She shut her mouth when the guy beside her covered her mouth with his hand.
Astreille was stunned when the man removed his mask.
"Princess, relax! It's me!"
Tears immediately flowed down the girl's cheeks when she saw the brother in front of her. The other three removed their masks also, Greg, Kyel and Teodore smiled at her.
"Y-You, guys," she whispered unbelievably.
Ephraim hugged him in great concern. "You must have been so scared inside. Don't worry. You're safe here inside the car, okay? We're here, we won't let you get hurt."
Crying, Astreille returned the hug to her sister.
She can breathe properly with her brother and friends around. It was as if a thorn had bitten him when he found out who his companions were.
But the girl immediately let go of her sister when she remembered her boyfriend.
"N-No, we can't stay here. Xord, Xord is still inside!" his promise bewildered.
"Princess, relax! Let's just trust him, okay? He'll survive that.He promised us, "Teodore said.
"No." Astreille shook her head in tears. "Xord will have too many opponents by chance. And that man, Asero, is a wicked man! He'll take the money and kill Xord after that! We can't leave Xord alone!"
She looked at her brother with her pleading eyes. "Brother, p-please. Let's help him, please brother. I can't lose him. N-I'm begging you."
Ephraim sighed before looking at the three other guys. The man nodded slowly.
"But! Promise me that you'll stay by our side, you can't get out of our sight!" This threat is strong.
Astreille nodded her head. "Promise. Let's go there please. Maybe whatever happens to Xord, he won't survive those hundreds of men!"
She can feel her heartbeat going wild. She's really worried for Xord. He will not allow it to be ruined because of him.
