"Xord?" The man immediately turned to the girl when she called her name.
He carefully caressed Astreille's face. "Why, baby? Are you dizzy?"
"No." It rose from reclining in the seat of the plane. She swallowed hard before facing him.
"Would we ever fight in the future?" Xord was speechless for a moment because of her question. Later the man was shaken and laughed.
"No. I'll never offend you in any way, I won't do anything wrong to make you mad," he sincerely responded.
Astreille averted her eyes from her boyfriend before smiling sweetly. for a few seconds he stared at the sky outside the plane they were on. She turned her gaze back at him before hugging his right arm. The man immediately kissed the top of her hair.
"I'm thankful, sorry for acting this way. I just don't want to lose you, Xord," she whispered before closing her eyes.
"What happened? What's running inside that pretty head of yours? Tell me, my baby," the boyfriend softly teased her.
The girl stared into Xord's eyes before laughing slightly. "When we returned Miyuki to Arrow and Frozen a while ago. I noticed how aloof Arrow was, he was kind yes, but I feel like he was avoiding people. But when she saw Miyuki, I loved how her eyes shined in happiness. Miyuki and Arrow treasure each other a lot. And I can see myself in them, I don't want to lose, Xord. I don't want to be left alone again. "
Xord bit his lower lip as he flashed a sweet smile. "I won't leave you. Never."
"But if something happens in the future, and we happen to break-up, I'm scared," the girl added.
The young man laughed because of that. "I can't even breathe properly with the thought of leaving you, baby. That won't happen. I swear. And I won't let you break up with me too," he replied.
Astreille pouted her lips. "I'm just dramatizing."
"What happened? Come on, tell me. I'm all ears."
"Jezreel texted me a while ago, she said that she's l-leaving the Philippines for good. They're going to marry his girlfriend abroad." The girl sobbed as she remembered the message she had received from a close friend.
As soon as the two of them and Xord left the palace, she received a text from Jezreel that broke her heart in pain, and in happiness.
"She's getting m-married, it's legal in another country so she'll live there. I'm so p-proud of her, I'm happy. But I'll miss her so much. She's always there for me whenever I 'm crying, t-done now, I can't see him much anymore. It's just on the cellphone, "the girl complained crying.
Xord let out a laugh before hugging the bride. He hugged her gently before combing her soft hair using his fingers.
"It's alright, stop crying. If you want to see her face to face, tell me, we'll fly all the way to her place whenever you want," he calmed her down.
The girl immediately settled down while still sniffing and wiping away the tears. "Thank you. S-I'm sorry if I dramatize."
"Nah, it's okay. Stop crying now, I hate seeing you crying," the young man replied softly to him.
"You made me cry before."
Xord closes his eyes before making sense. "I can't remember it."
"You made me cry one time because you said my cute one cried, you forgot right away?" the girl asked in surprise.
He bit his lip before smiling. "I can remember. I was naughty that time. I'm sorry."
The girl just leaned on his chest before sighing. "I love you."
The young man looked out the window. Xord doesn't know if he's just overthinking or not, but he feels uncomfortable with their conversation. He can feel that Astreille is hiding something.
Astreille on the other hand smiled bitterly before wiping the bullet of tears on her cheeks.
She just wants an assurance that Xord will not leave her. She just wanted to make sure the man loved her.
She doesn't want Xord to leave her. It's painful. But the pain will be lessened when he leaves. The weight of his chest will be reduced more when he breaks the relationship that they have.
For him ... For Xord ... She'll do everything for his own sake.
Astreille greeted the young man with a smile when she saw him approaching. Xord immediately pulled her waist before kissing her lips.
"You seem happy. What happened inside?" smiling at its curiosity.
Astreille bit her lower lip before smiling. "Miyuki is in good hands now. Let's go? Maybe my older brother will find me, I haven't let him know that we're going to Korea yet," she said.
He chuckled. "I'm sorry if I dragged you here. I just found out last night that Miyuki is Arrow's friend."
"Nah, it's okay. I'm happy that I got to see Arrow."
"Come on, I parked the car outside."
The girl was about to follow the young man when she felt the vibration of her cell phone from her pocket. She took her phone out of her pocket before opening her messages.
Two messages. One from Jezreel and one from the private investigator who spoke to nhe was for his father's case.
She opened Jezreel's text first. He almost dropped the cellphone when the message was read.
He is going to marry his girlfriend. And Jezreel has to fly all the way to America, since same sex marriage is legal there.
Astreille is happy for her best friend, ofcourse. He loves his girlfriend so much that Astreille knows that Jezreel is happy with the situation and the decision he has chosen.
He took a deep breath before opening another message from a private investigator he had paid for.
He frowned when he saw a picture sent to him.
A picture of her father, holding two children with a tape on their mouths. Anyone who sees this picture, everyone will think that her father kidnapped two children.
But no. Her father is not like that.
Astreille knew her father couldn't do that.
She quickly opened the message beneath the picture, a message that shocked her world.

The girl closed her eyes tightly as tears dripped down her cheeks.
