"Thank you, after 3 years!" Greg complained with a frown on his face.
They got out of the girl's car to greet the two people who had just arrived.
"Hey, sorry! Did you wait so long?" Astreille asked shyly while bowing her head slightly.
Teodore smiled. "No, princess. It's okay, we slept first while waiting for you," he sarcastically said.
Astreille let out an awkward chuckle before opening the gate. She also opened the lights on the mini garden. "T-Come on. I'm really sorry if you waited."
"It's okay, princess. Maybe the boss will shoot us when we're still complaining," Kyel uttered before rolling his eyes at Xord who just smirked.
The four men were directed inside to follow the girl. Ephraim was the last one to enter the gate, he closed it after getting in.
"Wow, your house looks awesome, Astreille," Greg said in amazement as he looked around the living room.
Astreille flashed a sweet smile for that. He looked at the cousin and auntie coming down the stairs.
"Ate Astreille!" She giggled sweetly when Marie ran to hug her.
"Hi, Marie. These are my new friends, say hello to them," he smiled pointing at the five men.
The four men waved their hands while smiling, Xord on the other hand just nodded his head.
"Hello friends of The Astreille! You're all handsome!" said the maiden softly.
"Oh well, thank you Marie, I'm really the leader of my slaves," Teodore said arrogantly.
Astreille laughed and shook her head when she saw the three men frowning, while her boss frowned slightly at what he heard.
"Ay, tita, mano po." Astreille gazed at her auntie. He waved at it as he always did.
Her aunt smiled. "God bless you, ija. You didn't say there were people coming, I wish I could have cooked some food for you."
"It's okay, auntie. Please rest, so I can cook for them," the girl replied.
"Oh, go ahead. Oh he's the ijo, sit down first. I'll just prepare you drinks," the old man said with a smile.
The five men bowed their heads to the old woman.
Astreille looked at the departing auntie before turning to the companions. "Just sit down, I'll just help Auntie for a while. Marie, you'll take care of them first, huh?" he turned to his cousin who smiled and nodded.
The girl walked closer to Xord who immediately turned to her. "You know where my room is, right? The laptops are there. You just get it, boss, you already know my house, don't you?" she teased him.
Xord chuckled a bit. "I got it."
Astreille just flashed a smile as she quickly ran to follow her auntie in the kitchen. She immediately saw the old woman preparing for the juice.
"Auntie, I'm there. Please rest, so I can take care of them," he smiled at the old man.
"It's already mixed, ija. Then what are you, I can do it. I'm just really glad that you have new friends and you're so handsome!" laughing at its promise.
Astreille pouted her lips before smiling. "I really don't know if they'll like my cooking later, I feel like they don't eat Filipino foods. They eat gold, auntie."
"Your new friends seem kind, son, so I'm sure they'll like your cooking. "Then you inherited it from your dad, you're so good at cooking!" It even winked at him which made him giggle.
"By the way, Astreille. Do you have a boyfriend with those?" It's a tempting question.
Astreille's cheeks immediately blushed before shaking. "T-Tita, nothing!"
"Believe me. Who is that man who is so handsome? The one who was stuck near your place earlier? As you introduce me, he will look at you badly, as if you are the only beautiful woman he sees," the old man added with a shudder.
Astreille bit her lower lip while blushing. "Ahm, that's my boss, aunt."
Her aunt gave a teasing expression. "I can't believe it's just the boss. Your cheeks were really red when I mentioned him."
She pouted her lips. "Auntie, eh. Still teasing."
The old woman let out a laugh. "I see something in you, ija. But if someone is interfering with you, I hope that man doesn't cheat on you. I don't want to see you cry because you've been through so much in life. You've been hurt so much, so I hope you can find someone to make you happy. with you. " Astreille's eyes became teary when she heard that.
She cried and hugged the old man. "Thank you auntie."
"It's nothing, ija. Oh how, I'll give it to them. I'll feed your uncle too, I know they'll like your cooking so don't worry." She nodded her head as she watched her auntie walk away.
The girl sighed before facing the selected ingredients.
She trusts her cooking skills, most likely, she has already learned many things and one is cooking. He is alone so he is an expert in the field of cooking.
She tied her long hair tightly before wearing plastic gloves and an apron. She prepared the kitchen tools she needed.
"Hey, baby. Do you need help over there?"
To his surprise, he turned around when he heard that voice. Xord was there, leaning on the door while looking intently at her.
Astreille smiled sweetly. "Come on boss, hurry."
The young man approached her before hugging her tightly. The girl was even surprised by what he did before leaving slowly.
"Wait l-lang, boss. Maybe someone will see us," the girl whispered.
Xord kissed her neck gently before pulling out. "I don't care. Come on, let me help you. They're still doing something, and I'm bored."
The girl herself wore an apron to her boss as he wore plastic gloves. She tied the apron he's wearing into a ribbon before facing the guy.
"Come on, I'll teach you how to cook--"
"I'm a chef."
The girl's eyes widened. "T-Really?"
The man nodded before quickly kissing her lips. "I can do everything, baby. So I'm ready to get married."
Astreille smiled awkwardly. "Your wife must be lucky."
The man nodded. "Yeah, you're lucky."
The girl hasn't spoken yet, she can feel her cheeks heating up and she doesn't want Xord to see it.
