The Chosen Luna: Alpha’s Unwanted Daughter

Chapter 752

Ch. 742 / 790 May 05, 2026

The room seemed to pulse with raw energy as Bella’s hybrid power surged outward, crashing against the dark magic that had bound her child. Esmera’s magic, once so strong and unyielding, now quivered under the intensity of Bella’s will. The energy in the room crackled, a storm of light and dark swirling together, each pushing against the other in a desperate fight for dominance. Bella’s power grew stronger with every breath, her bond with the baby fueling her resolve.

Kael’s eyes burned with determination as he watched Bella fight. He could feel her power radiating from her, and in that moment, he knew that she was unstoppable. Her strength, her love for their child—it was enough to shatter any magic that stood in their way.

Esmera’s confident smirk faltered as her magic began to crack. She struggled to maintain control, her fingers twitching in an attempt to weave another spell, but it was no use. Bella’s energy overwhelmed her defenses, ripping through them like paper, unraveling the dark web that had held her baby captive.

With a snarl of frustration, Esmera raised her hands to cast a retaliatory spell, but Kael was faster. He moved with a speed that matched his rage, crossing the room in a flash and lunging at Esmera with a growl. She barely had time to react before he knocked her aside, forcing her to drop the baby from her arms. The child tumbled to the floor with a soft cry, but Bella was already there, her arms outstretched, her heart racing as she scooped the baby into her embrace.

Tears welled in Bella’s eyes as she held the child close, her heartbeat thundering in her chest. The baby’s cries filled the room, and it was as if the sound of it gave Bella a renewed sense of purpose. She pressed her face against the baby’s soft skin, whispering words of love and relief, her tears mingling with the child’s cries. She had her baby back. They were both alive.

Kael stood protectively beside her, his eyes hard with determination. “We’ve won,” he said quietly, but the weight of their victory was fleeting. They knew this wasn’t over. Not yet.

Esmera, still reeling from the blow Kael had struck, staggered back to her feet. Her eyes were wild, her face contorted in fury. Blood dripped from a cut on her temple, but it only seemed to fuel her rage. She had failed to keep the child, but she wasn’t about to let them get away with it.

Her voice, low and venomous, slithered through the air. “This isn’t over,” she hissed, her eyes burning with hatred. Her gaze fixed on Bella, a promise of revenge glimmering in her dark eyes. “You may have won this round, but I will make you pay. This isn’t finished.”

Kael’s hand clenched into a fist, his knuckles white with anger. He wanted nothing more than to end it right then and there—to crush Esmera’s threat before it could take root. But Bella, still holding their baby, placed a hand on his arm, her touch soft but firm.

“No,” she said softly, her voice steady despite the storm of emotions raging within her. “Not yet.”

Kael glanced down at her, confusion flashing in his eyes. “But she—”

“I know,” Bella said, her gaze never leaving Esmera. “I know what she’s capable of. But we need to be smart about this. We have the baby, Kael. We’ve won. Let’s leave before she has a chance to strike back.”

Esmera’s lips curled into a sneer, and for a moment, it seemed like she might lash out again. But with a final, furious glare, she turned and vanished into the shadows of the fortress. Her form melted into the darkness, leaving behind only the echo of her hateful words.

“I’ll be back,” her voice echoed through the fortress. “You can’t hide from me forever.”

Kael growled, but Bella’s hand on his arm kept him from charging after her. They had come too far to let their emotions cloud their judgment now. They had to leave—before Esmera regrouped and found a way to strike back.

“Let her go,” Bella whispered. “We’ll be ready next time.”

Kael hesitated for a moment longer, but then, slowly, he nodded. His anger was still boiling beneath the surface, but Bella was right. They had the baby. That was all that mattered now.

Carefully, Bella cradled the baby in her arms, her eyes never leaving her child. The bond they shared was unbreakable, and no matter what Esmera threatened, nothing could tear them apart. They had survived this, and they would survive whatever came next.

Kael placed a hand on her shoulder, his expression softening. “We’ll protect our family,” he said, his voice low but filled with conviction. “No matter what.”
