The Alpha's Mistress

My girl

Ch. 9 / 70 May 07, 2026

I opened the door and climbed into his car. Dylan was so happy to see me. He leaned over and gave me a kiss. He was buzzing with excitement and it was infectious. He held my hand and sang corny love songs while he drove. I loved it when he was like this. The car ride went by quickly that way.

As we pulled up to the restaurant he hopped out of the car and ran around to open my door. I smiled at him before I stepped out of the car. He wrapped a strong arm around my waist and pulled me close as we walked toward the restaurant.

Valet ran forward and he threw the keys into the air. He caught it and looked at us. I smiled apologetically before we walked into the restaurant. I noticed the way the hostess’ eyebrows shot up when she saw Dylan. She ran forward and gave him a sly smile while she greeted him. I rolled my eyes as she led us to our reserved seats.

“Is there… anything I can get you?” She asked Dylan. His eyes dropped to her name tag.

“No, thank you, Jessica.” Her smile faltered and he shook his head. He waved her off like she didn’t have an hour-glass figure and pencil straight hair.

“Your waitress will be right with you,” Jessica said.

My irritation left with her. We had a table by the ceiling to floor windows and a view of the ocean. The waves molded into the sky. It was so beautiful I couldn’t help but get lost in the blue.

“Wow,” I murmured.

I looked at Dylan and he was nodded at me. He reached for my hand and I put my hand in his. He leaned his head down and kissed the back of my hand. He was being so sweet today. I couldn’t get enough. The tender way he treated me made me want to cry.

“I ordered when I made reservations. They’re going to bring our food starting with the appetizers,” he said proudly. I squeezed his hand.

“Thank you for thinking about me. You’re so thoughtful. You’ve picked a great spot, babe. Thank you so much for thinking about me and taking the time to plan this,” I said.

His smile made my heart warm. He turned and looked out the window. I watched him while he watched the waves. The soup and salad came out first. He nods for me to start eating. I take the first bite and he watches me closely.

“I ordered from the menu when I made reservations. I ordered a four course meal. They’ll bring everything out one by one,” he said proudly. I reached over and grabbed his hand that rested on the table. I smiled at him while I gave his hand a squeeze.

“You’ve picked a great spot babe. I’ve never been somewhere so beautiful. Everything from the view to the mood is perfect. Thank you for thinking about me and bringing me here,” I said.

I felt so out of place here but I didn’t want to ruin the moment. Dylan smiled and looked out of the window. The soup came next. I’ve never had clam chowder and I never thought I would like it, but it was honestly really good with those little cracker bits. Our entree was tenderloin steak with buttered asparagus that was smothered in a black sauce. I was hesitant to take a bite and Dylan noticed.

“Is something wrong with the food?” He asked.

“Oh no, I’ve… I’ve just never had such a fancy meal before,” I whisper.

“Take a bite. You’ll like it,” Dylan said. I speared the asparagus and nibbled on the head. I couldn’t help the moan that escaped my lips.

“Good?’ Dylan asked.

“Oh, my gosh…,” I whisper between moans.

“It’s really good, isn’t it?” Dylan asked. He flashed me a smile as he cut up his steak. “I knew you’d enjoy it here. I wanted to treat you to a good meal and spend some time with you.”

“It is,” I said as I speared another asparagus. “I appreciate you. Thank you, Dylan.” He reached over and caressed my cheek.

“Anything for my girl.”
