Revenge with My Quadruplets

Chapter 24

Ch. 24 / 160 May 08, 2026

After taking the merry-go-round, Diane and Ian were competing with each other. They were fighting to choose a facility and the one who spoke first and got Derek and Emily's approval won.

Chris wanted to help Diane, but Aaron just wanted to stay with Emily.

Ian shouted, "This is not fair, Daddy. Come and help me."

Diane made a face at Ian.

  Emily burst into laughter.

At this moment, they saw a parade. The children exclaimed and pointed at the people on the vehicles while stating the characters they played.

Diane danced with the people in the vehicle. Chris stood guard beside her while Ian ran after the vehicles. Emily and Derek had to look after the children and didn't have the time to watch the parade.

Derek felt that taking care of Ian for a day was much more tiring than working. Why was Ian so vigorous?

The bodyguards were even more tired. They were holding balloons in their hands as well as Diane and Ian's toys. They couldn't hold more things.

Emily took care of Chris and Diane on her own. She was used to their liveliness, so she did not panic. While ensuring the safety of Diane and Chris, she reminded Ian to watch his steps and not to trip.

"Daddy, let's play for a while longer." Ian was sweating as he ran over to Derek.

Emily took out tissues and wiped Ian's sweat.

"Ian, how about drinking some water?" Emily knew that she had to hydrate Ian in time.

"Ian, it's already noon. If you don't take a break, Aaron, Chris, and Diane will have to starve along with you," Derek told Ian.

Ian frowned in confusion. He wanted to continue enjoying himself. Daddy rarely played with him, and he was reluctant to go eat. However, Ian looked at Aaron. He did not want Aaron to starve. Furthermore, Chris and Diane were also there. If they waited too long and got hungry, Ian would feel guilty. He hesitated for a moment before reluctantly saying, "Daddy, let's go eat."

Derek rubbed Ian's head and comforted him.

Ian looked depressed, then Emily comforted him and said, "After lunch, we'll have more fun. There will be a light show tonight. We will stay and watch it."

"Really?" Ian and Diane were surprised. They asked together.

Looking at Ian's expectant expression, Derek nodded in agreement with Emily.

"Great! Daddy, let's go eat. I'm so hungry." Ian shook Derek's hand.

He had to finish lunch as soon as possible because he wanted to play more in the afternoon.

All of a sudden, Ian was so eager to go for lunch.

Ian and Diane ran in the front while Emily held Chris and Aaron's hands. Derek followed behind as if he was their guardian.

Derek chose a restaurant already. It was a children's restaurant and was famous, and all the children in the amusement park wanted their parents to take them there.

Before they arrived at the restaurant, Ian and Diane were full of energy, but they felt tired soon after sitting down.

Emily ordered the dishes as she watched the two most vigorous kids quiet down.

"Ian, what do you want to eat?" Aaron once stayed at Emily's place for a night, so Emily knew that he had the same preference as Chris and Diane. So, she asked Ian.

"He and Aaron like the same food," Derek replied.

Emily was surprised. She didn't expect Aaron and Ian to have similar tastes and habits as Chris and Diane.

In the end, the four children all chose pasta, and Emily ordered soup for them.

The dishes were tasty. The kids had been playing the whole morning and were tired now. They enjoyed their food and also had apple pies as dessert.

When everyone was done, Aaron was still eating. Because he was obsessed with cleanliness, he could stop cleaning his hands and mouth from time to time. The excessive wipe had turned his hands and mouth red. When someone passed him, he would unconsciously dodge.

"Aaron, go easy with it. Let me wipe your mouth, OK?" Emily was distressed.

  Aaron nodded in agreement.

This surprised Derek and Ian, but they felt that it was normal for Aaron to agree if it was Emily.

Derek thought, 'It's just been a short time, but I feel normal about Aaron being dependent on Emily.'

It seemed that in front of Emily, Aaron, Ian, and even Derek would all be relaxed easily.

Derek looked at Emily intently. Emily raised her head and looked straight at Derek. She didn't understand what had happened to him.

She thought, 'Whatever, maybe he just gets tired after playing with the kids.'

After lunch, Chris felt sleepy and yawned.

"Chris, are you sleepy?" Emily immediately noticed it.

Chris nodded. He felt like sleeping, but he wanted to watch the light show.

"Mommy, let's continue the fun. I won't be sleepy after a while," Chris said.

"Alright. I'll sleep with you tonight and read you a bedtime story, okay?" Emily felt sorry for Chris.

"I want Mommy to be with me for a week." Chris was excited. He felt that he was not sleepy at all.

"No problem." Emily pinched Chris' cheeks.

"Mommy, I love you so much." Chris hugged Emily and was happy.

"Daddy, hug me," Ian said. He stretched out his hands and hugged Derek.

The six of them chatted as they left the restaurant and started the fun in the afternoon.

After familiarizing themselves with each other in the morning, the kids got closer to one another.

They passed by a lawn, which was a resting area. The four children liked to play games on it. Diane and Ian competed to see who could find more types of plants. Chris and Aaron were helping them.

Emily and Derek stood on the lawn. The afterglow of the sun shone on them as if they were shining. The warm orange light was beautiful, and it made them feel warm.

After a sound of clicking, Derek turned to look at the bodyguards, and the bodyguards behind him nodded and left.

Soon, the bodyguards came over with a man holding a camera.

Derek gazed at him. He stared at the man, and the man was a little scared.

"Hello, my name is Leon. I am a photographer. I mean no harm," Leon introduced himself.

Derek frowned and stared at Leon without saying anything.

"I just felt that your family looked harmonious and beautiful under the sunset, so I took a picture," Leon continued to explain. "If you don't believe me, you can check my camera."

The bodyguard next to Leon took the camera. After checking the photos, he found that they were pictures of nature. There was only one photo of Derek, Emily, and the four children and no other suspicious photos. He nodded at Derek, indicating that Leon didn't lie.

Derek was relieved. He was about to ask the bodyguard to delete the photos when he thought of what Leon had just said. He said that he and Emily were a family. Derek thought, 'Do we look like a family?'

"Send me the photo he took for us and delete the rest," Derek instructed the bodyguard and then said to Leon, "Do you have a copy of the photos?"

"No, no." Leon waved his hand. He could tell that Derek was someone he could not afford to offend.

Looking at the photo that was sent to his phone, Derek was satisfied. He saved the photo, and he did not know why he did this.

Then, he asked the bodyguard to let go of Leon, and Leon ran away with his camera.

"Did something happen?" Emily heard the sound and turned to look at Derek.

"Nothing. Just keep an eye on the kids." Derek hid his phone behind his back. He didn't want Emily to see the photo.

"Alright." Emily felt that Derek was a little strange.

She thought, 'Perhaps he has work to deal with, which has nothing to do with me.'
