Pregnant Billionaire Heiress Gave Birth To Twins

Contacting Desmond

Ch. 249 / 286 Apr 29, 2026

He finished and found it brilliant, flawless, and untraceable.

The entire process took him four painstaking hours to complete. He was careful to ensure that every step was executed without error.

Finally, once everything was set, he turned his attention back to the system issue that had created the chaos earlier in the day.

With a few more keystrokes, he removed the bug and restored user access to the apps and website.

Within minutes, the apps and website came back to life. Everything was back to normal. Max leaned back in his chair and stretched his arms with a satisfied smile. He was done. No one would suspect a thing.

Sylvester would get his money. And Anabel? She would never know what really happened.

The next day, the traffic surged back again. But this time, all payments were going straight into the new account.

No one was aware of that, even the financial sector. All they knew was that they were receiving notifications and the balance was increasing. No one suspected that the money was going into another account.

Anabel arrived in her office to meet investors waiting to see her. Both those she had appointments with and those she doesn't have appointments with.

One by one, they come in, have a deal with her, and leave.

In just a day, everything about her company changed, and as her father had suggested, making friendships with the CEO of the advertising agency will prove beneficial in the long run. First, she needed the CEO's contact number.

Without further hesitation, she picked up her phone and dialed Mr. Kane, the head of her advertising department. He was the only person that could get the contact.

The line rang twice before he answered. "Good morning, Miss. Orton."

"Good morning, Mr. Kane," Anabel replied. "I want you to do something for me."

"Anything," he replied. "What do you want?"

"I want to get in touch with the CEO of Desmos Advertising Agency." She stated. "Do you think you can find his direct contact information for me?" She asked, and Mr. Kane paused briefly before replying, "I can try. I will reach out to their senior manager."

"Good. Call him. Let me know as soon as you get the number." Anabel said and hung up.

Once the call ended, Mr. Kane wasted no time. He dialed Mr. Kelvin's number, the senior manager of Desmos Advertising Agency.

Kelvin answered on the first ring. "Mr. Kane, good morning."

"Morning, Mr. Kelvin. I have a request," Kane said.

"What is that?" Mr. Kelvin asked.

"My boss, Miss. Anabel Orton, wants to get in touch with your CEO. Could you provide his mobile contact"?

"Miss. Orton herself?" he asked.

"Yes," Kane confirmed. "She wants to speak with him directly. Can we get his contact number?"

"It's not in my hand. Hold on. I need to ask him first." He said and cut the call, then proceeded to call Desmond.

Desmond, who was in the middle of reviewing his morning reports, glanced at his phone when it rang. Seeing Kelvin’s name, he picked up.

"Kelvin, is everything alright?" Desmond asked.

"More than alright," Kelvin replied with an amused tone. "I have some interesting news for you."

"Go on. I'm listening."

"Mr. Kane from Anabel Orton’s company just called. Anabel wants to get in touch with you. She asked for your mobile number".

Desmond smirked slightly and rubbed his chin. So, she finally wants to talk. He had been expecting her to reach out to him since the huge sales started.

"Give her my office number. Let’s keep it professional for now." Desmond said.

"Got it. I will send it to them."

With that, he called Mr. Kane back and gave him the number. Once Kane received it, he forwarded it immediately to Anabel.

She glanced at the message on her phone and saved it, then proceeded to call him.
