"You think you are dealing with me, but you are shooting yourself in the leg. My mom warned me about you, but I continued to swim in our love."
"We are done talking, Jethro. I want you to get out of my room right now. We need to continue from where we stopped, or do you want to watch live porn?"
"Young man she said you should leave. Aren't you ashamed of yourself?" The man asked.
"You are the one who is supposed to be ashamed of himself." He turned to Stella. "I will leave, but remember, if you ever come back to me again, I will never accept you back." Jethro said.
"The last thing I will do is to come back to you, begging. I have everything I want now. I don't need you."
"I will go, and soon, you will realize you lost everything." He picked the flower and left the house. He could hear Stella laughing behind his back.

Jethro drove into the garage slowly, his hands gripping the steering wheel tighter than necessary. The engine hummed quietly as he sat there for a moment, staring blankly ahead. His heart felt like it had been wrung out—twisted and dropped.
He had planned everything perfectly. The proposal. The words. The timing. But fate had other plans.
He exhaled slowly, then stepped out of the car, his shoulders heavy but his mind strangely clear. He walked into the house, not knowing what he would say, only knowing that he couldn’t carry this pain alone.
Inside the living room was Anabel, sitting on the couch, chatting with Stacey, her sister’s best friend. They were smiling and talking about her reconciliation with Desmond.
But the moment Jethro stepped in, the air shifted.
Both women turned to look at him. His face said everything. The disappointment, the heartbreak—it was written in the slump of his shoulders and the distant look in his eyes.
Anabel sat up, concern washing over her face. “Jethro… what happened?”
But before she could finish her sentence, Jethro did something unexpected. He walked over to Stacey, knelt down on one knee, and pulled a small bouquet of flowers from behind his back.
“Please… Can you take this from me?”
Stacey blinked, stunned. She looked at Anabel, unsure of what to do, but Anabel gave her a gentle nod. “Take it,” she whispered.
Stacey reached out and accepted the flowers with trembling hands. It was unexpected. She opened her mouth to say thank you, but before the words could come out, Jethro reached into his pocket and pulled out the ring box.
He opened it slowly, revealing a delicate, glimmering diamond ring.
“I would love it,” he said with an emotional voice, “if you would take this from me too.”
Stacey’s eyes widened, her breath catching.
“This ring,” Jethro continued, “was meant for someone else. But she didn’t want me. And that’s okay. I want you to understand that you are not a second option. I was just trying not to break her heart. I’ve loved you since the first day you visited our home. I just didn’t want to betray anyone. But now… now that she’s walked away, I can finally say what I’ve been holding in.”
He looked up at her, his eyes sincere and vulnerable. “I love you, Stacey. With all my heart. I’ve witnessed your kindness, your strength, and your loyalty. My parents adore you, and that gives me peace. But I’m not doing this for them. I’m doing this for myself. Because I know you will make a wonderful wife for me. And I want to spend the rest of my life with you.”
Stacey’s eyes welled with tears. She covered her mouth with her hand, overwhelmed.
“I love you too,” she whispered. “I always have. I just… I thought you were taken. I didn’t want to come between you and anyone.”
“You didn’t,” he said gently. “She made her choice. And now, I’m making mine.”
She nodded, tears slipping down her cheeks. “Yes. Yes, I’ll marry you.”
Anabel clapped her hands together, her face glowing with joy. “Oh my God! I’m so happy for you both!”
Jethro stood and slipped the ring onto Stacey’s finger, then pulled her into a warm embrace. As they sat down together, Jethro turned to her with a playful smile. “And by the way… I have a gift for you.”
Stacey raised an eyebrow. “A gift?” She asked, and he nodded. “Tomorrow. I’m going to surprise you.” She laughed softly, wiping her tears. “You’ve already surprised me enough for a lifetime.”
She said, but Jethro just smiled and held her hand tightly in his. "I have one more, and I know you will love it."
