Pregnant Billionaire Heiress Gave Birth To Twins

I can't wait

Ch. 274 / 286 Apr 29, 2026

He wasn't even embarrassed at all. He just smiled and looked at Bella who took her face away and began to laugh.

"I will go and take my bath now." He said and headed to his room. Desmond had barely closed the door to his room when his phone lit up with Anabel’s name. A smile tugged at his lips as he picked it up and placed the phone to his ear.

“Hey, beautiful angel." He said with a warm voice. She really called as she promised instead of texting, which melted Desmond's heart more.

“Hi, baby!" Anabel replied with a soft, exciting voice. “I just got into my room now. Have you reached home, or are you still on the way?"

Desmond sat on the edge of his bed, kicking off his shoes. “I just got to my room too." He answered. “I will go and take my bath soon.” He added, and there was a playful pause on the other end.

“Mmm,” Anabel murmured, “I will love to help you with that. It's been a long time since you washed your back properly.”

Desmond chuckled and smiled. “How sure are you that I've not been doing it properly?”

“You can't wash it the way I would do,” she said with a teasing voice. “I will scrub your back, massage your shoulders... and wash my favorite toy the way I want, just the way I used to do.”

He laughed and leaned back on the bed. “I would love to have you do that. I've missed it a lot. Especially when you let the soap fall and bend over to pick it up, then I hold your waist and slide my already hard dick into you." He said, and Anabel smiled. "Stoop! You are making me wet already. I'm thinking about it now."

"This is the reason I will come as soon as possible. I don't want to miss you more. I've never felt so happy like I did today."

"Really?"

"Baby, you have no idea how much I missed this. Just… talking to you like this. Laughing. Flirting. Feeling like we’re us again.”

“I missed it too,” Anabel replied softly. “After our lovely moments in the hotel, I feel like I cannot continue to live without you. I didn’t realize how much until I got home now. I don't want to sleep alone anymore. Being with you felt… safe. Like home.”

Desmond’s heart swelled. “That’s exactly what you are to me. Home. I’ve been walking around like a ghost these past months. But tonight? You brought me back to life.”

“I can’t wait to be with you again,” Desmond continued. “In this house. In this room. Waking up beside me. Cooking breakfast together. Fighting over what movie to watch. Just… living life with you.”

Anabel smiled on the other end. “You remember how I always burn the toast?”

“And how I always pretend it’s gourmet just to make you laugh,” he replied, and she giggled. “You’re the only person who ever made me feel like I didn’t have to be perfect.”

“You never had to be,” Desmond said. “Not with me. I love your flaws. Your quirks. The way you hum when you’re thinking. The way you talk to plants like they are people.”

“They are people,” she said with mock seriousness, and he laughed again. “See? That’s what I mean. You’re magic, Anabel. And I’m the luckiest man alive to have you back.”

“I want to see you in my shirts again,” he said. “I want to come home and find you dancing in the kitchen. I want to hold your hand when we’re old and gray and still arguing about who left the lights on.”

"But you always leave the lights on. Not me.” Anabel said.

"You want us to start arguing now, huh?"

"I'm just saying the truth. You know I don't do that." She said, and they both laughed.

“I love you, Anabel,” he said, his voice thick with emotion. “I never stopped. Not for a second.”

“I love you more than you love me, Desmond,” she replied. "Come and take me already."

"You know what? Ask your dad and mom when they will be around… that I'm coming to take you."

"This is what I have wanted to hear from you all this while. I will just do that." She replied in excitement. She couldn't stop smiling.

"I will go now and take my bath. I will call you later." Desmond said.

"Alright, dear. We will talk later."

"I love you," Desmond said.

"I love you too." She replied, and the call disconnected. She placed the phone on her chest and smiled, "I can't wait to be with you, Desmond."
