" Mommy! I want to eat Chocolate cake. Shall we make it together?" Suzy enters the bedroom with small steps, holding her favorite chocolates. Charlotte has been lying down on the bed after returning home with Edward.
Noticing her mental situation, Edward couldn't help canceling all the meetings and sent Suzy to help her mood better.
" Cake?" She replies weakly. The somber expression on her face is screaming her sadness. The past of her was never remarkable. It was painful and disgusting.
" Yes. I want to learn how to bake a cake and Momma should be my teacher!". She places a soft kiss on her Mom's cheek, smiling. Charlotte couldn't able to stay still. Getting up, her hands reach to Suzy's face. Cupping her face, Charlotte brushes her nose against the tip of her nose. " Then I will teach my daughter to bake a beautiful cake today!"
" Yehhh! I will be in your care mommy!" She giggles jumping around. Charlotte sighs, thinking she shouldn't mind her past and live for the future. All the days she had gone through in the past had ended a long time ago.
Edward has been watching her from upstairs. Smiling and teaching Suzy how to bake. However, he had realized what she meant by her real self. Last two days, she has been working and talking freely. She hasn't stopped herself to open up. But she is silent again. the old nature has long forgotten that she thought she would turn back and return to her old self. unfortunately, it's impossible. her world has been shrouded with a thick blanket of coldness. The calm shore of the icy ocean has returned to its place.
" Can I join you two? I wanna see if I can bake a cake as well. I don't wanna see my wife upset when she asked for cake but I won't be able to make one." He said, approaching them after coming down. Charlotte smiles a little, welcoming him.
" Suzy is trying to coat the strawberries with chocolate. Can you help her "
Edward nods giving away a warm Aura. He is fine as long as his family is happy. Suzy jumps down the stool, walking towards Edward who makes himself comfortable. " Dadda! You must use lots of chocolate. I love chocolate!"
" OK. Do you love strawberries?" he pinches the tip of her nose with a soft chuckle.
" I d.A lot !" Suzy spreads her hands to show the amount of her love for strawberries.
" What about you? Charlotte!"
Charlotte shakes her head as No. She doesn't like strawberries. However, her silent response brings a sigh to Edward, Edward feels she can't still get over the matter of her being bullied by her old classmate.
" So.. How was your day with them? The Elderly people," he asked coating one.
Charlotte's face turns pale once again. " Fine. They're some pitiful souls who have sacrificed their lives for someone like us"
So, she didn't have a good experience there. Well, Despite having fun with them, their lives have nothing but a full story of misery. Their children have everything, some of them are the owner of the company chain, and someone works as politicians. However, They couldn't give a single room to their parents. Edward has been managing the orphanage. When he had gone through his Worst life experience, he built one as gratitude.
" So, It wasn't a pretty good experience!" He said.
" It was. But It is not the experience of happiness though. Anyway! I got to meet one couple here. They have a similar surname to my Aunt. I don't think we have any grandparents.."
She wonders asking. Those elder people have the accent like her Aunt from the southern city. It's not possible since she never heard about her father or her Aunt having parents. Charlotte knows her father became an orphan when he was only six.
" Why not try to investigate.? Maybe there are some connections with your family. "
" You think so? They look so warm and closer people to me. As like I can live forever with them!" She smiles thinking about the Elder couple.
" As long as you wish, I will investigate them. Why not give them more time to them? I will pay as I promise!" He winks but Charlotte doesn't take it as normal. She frowns giving her attention to him.
" Mr. Rodriguez! May I know why you are being so kind to me? I know it's your responsibility to take care of me. Still. We don't like each other.. Just mutual trust and carrying on the relationship!"
She finally asked unburdening her heart once again. He is way too sweet to her. She doesn't deserve it. She feels as if she drowns herself in his kind and warm charismatic behavior. She will have to regret it. She knows nothing about him. About his past and his love life.
" I am not being kind to you. Don't misunderstand. The day you have signed your name on the marriage certificate. You become one of my family members for whom I will do anything. And. I don't have any plans for letting that mutual trust or the relationship we have, disappear. I'm fine with carrying the marriage till the very end until you ask me to end it!"
He chirped, giving a Worthy smile at her. He is serious and sincere. He doesn't know what the future holds. But He has no plans to break the marriage off.
Charlotte didn't say anything. She knows he thinks sincerely about the marriage. But What if she falls in love with him and he doesn't? What if her new hopes will show her the same results as her first love did?
She bites her bottom lip, thinking so hard until Edward says something.. " If you think you find someone who deserves you and can give you the life you deserve. You have the right to tell me. I will leave you forever. I am a man with words!"
" Thanks. I will.." Her nonchalant response makes Edward sighs. She doesn't think of any future for them together.

Andrew has been working hard on his new movie. His life has settled with working continuously after his girlfriend left him.
" Did you say both of them knew each other?" Talking with the person on the phone, he rests his back on the chair. He has been trying to find some information about Charlotte.
" Yes. Some of their old classmates said Jennifer and Charlotte were in the same debating club. Six years ago, They argued with each other and Charlotte had changed her club. Most of the information showed that They were enemies!"
Andrew fists his hands. Six years ago, He first met Jennifer at his birthday party. The model was innocent and lively. However, She used to talk about her stressful life. " Sister-in-law doesn't look like a Bully but We shouldn't judge people by their face. I regret sending my daughter to her. What if she forced her to leave the country!"
