Edward looks at his wristwatch before signing the contract papers on which his company has been working. Saying goodbye to his clients. He comes out of the meeting room, getting help from His assistant.
" Did you book the restaurant I asked you to?" asked his assistant, He covers his legs and fixes his tie properly but He has to look up when someone comes towards him.
" Edward! It's been a while!"
" What are you doing here? Dr. Shayne!" Edward asks normally since she used to be his doctor.
" Well! I am going abroad tomorrow. So thought to have lunch with you. Are you free? What about visiting your favorite diner? We used to go. Remember..!" Shayne holds his hand softly. She is sure that he won't reject her since he never said No to her before.
" Sorry, Shayne! I have already planned to have lunch with my wife. I am getting late. See you around!" He draws his hand quietly, Rejecting her in a good way.
His calling Wife to the girl she hates now makes Shayne fume angrily. Edward has never rejected her before. He always respects her request since she has been a good friend of his. Charlotte is looking at the sample of clothes that will be used for the wedding dress. She is too honest to avoid the fact that Her sister is being greedy nothing else. Million dollars dress can make her feel better but She will be the one who will face the aftermath.
" What happened? Beauty! You are staring at the fabric for a long time. Isn't it your taste?" Placing the boxes of needles and laces on the table, James whispers in her ear what causes her to jump up. James laughs at her seeing her being a scaredy cat. However, Charlotte doesn't want to respond. She walks towards the table to grab the scissors.
" All Employees are here to help us. Why are you being so serious on your first day? Maria told me to let you relax on your first day. Am I, not a good Boss? Let's relax first. Okay?" James blinks multiple times like a puppy who wants to play outside but his Owner doesn't allow him to.

" My Eddie!! What did bring you here?" He runs towards the door but he tilts his head aside seeing Edward moving towards Charlotte who is trying not to be happy. A shyness with a tinted mark on her cheeks is appearing.
" Why are you here? Mr Rodriguez!"
" Can't I come to see my wife? " Edward holds her hand and places a soft kiss on it. Charlotte flinches, stunned.
" Wait!! Wait!! What the hell Man!!! Did I just hear you calling her Wife?" James shakes Edward constantly, making Edward pissed.
" Are you done? Leave me! You rascal!" Shoving his hand away, He wheels his wheelchair towards Charlotte.
" This is not fair. You are my best friend's wife and I don't know. No!!!! This is not my question. When did you get married? How did you say married such a beautiful lady? Why life is so unfair?"

" Nichole prepared lunch for you. You are so lucky. Your crush is giving her expensive attention to you. "
Slamming the box on the table, She turns but James holds her hand.." I didn't mean it. I just -"
" Leave my hand, Boss! You are harassing your employee!" Shoving his hand, She glares at him. Her face is red but her eyes are tearful. James looks at his hand, clenching, He follows Maria who is leaving the studio.
" What should we do? Seems like they're going to fight!" Charlotte fidgets while trying to know what's going on outside. But Edward pulls her on his lap. Making her stunned.
" I am here for you. Shouldn't you give your attention to your husband? They are adults. So You don't need to be a babysitter!"
She nods as she agrees with him, But She blushes trying to get up. " Everyone is watching! Please let me go!" She whispers to herself.
" Don't worry. Everyone will know that you are mine. "
" Mr. Rodriguez!!" She covers his mouth, thinking she doesn't want him to be so protective and possessive of her.
" It's Edward. Call me that or I will not let you go!"
Charlotte looks at the coworkers who are whispering themselves. So embarrassing!! " Just call him Hubby. Ms. Charlotte! It's okay. We won't disturb you!".
The laughter of the employees makes her flush instantly. Edward meanwhile is enjoying her flustered face and waiting for her to call his name.
" Geez. I told you I need time to call you. "
" You have to practice right."
Charlotte sighs. It looks so petty and overreacting to everyone but to her, It's really hard to call someone a name. Especially calling Edward, It is somehow hard for her.
" Edward, Happy now!"
" No! Let's go. We will have lunch together! Then I will be happy!"
Charlotte's face flushed red when the breath hits her earlobe. Edward whispers holding her firmly on his lap. Charlotte's heart beats faster being so close to him.
" I have to work. " Her eyes go down with her red cheeks which are burning. She soon realizes when he told her that he would Lunch with her today.
" Are you going to reject me? I am here for you and you won't appreciate my coming?"
How can she reject this face? Edward looks like a Bossy CEO of some romance novels but He is soft and warm. His considerate personality takes her to allow him to be close to her unknowingly. His attention makes her greedy since no one ever has given her little attention or priority.
" I have only one hour to have lunch. I don't want to be late for work. "
" Fine! One hour is enough. Shall we go?"
She nods and gets up to grab her purse. " Where are we going?"
" Just come with me. You will love it!" Edward holds her hand firmly, smiling.
At the restaurant.
Charlotte is stunned by the interior of the restaurant. She always heard about it from her colleagues who came to date with their boyfriends. It's the most expensive restaurant in the country.
" Why are we Here? It's so expensive. " She looks worried while scanning the restaurant.
" Why are you worrying about it when your husband owns it!"

" Wifey!! Should we eat first? Our time limit is only one hour " Edward extends his arm to hold her. Somehow watching everyone walking their lover's side by side, He wants to do the same. Clenching his fist, He holds her wrist.
" I feel like my husband is more handsome than anyone here!"
Edward snaps looking at Charlotte with his widely opened eyes. Charlotte is still scanning around while mumbling herself continuously. But Listening to her, He unintentionally blushes. However, When he notices Charlotte realized what she just said And flushes, He grins. But it makes him laugh when Charlotte tries to steal a glance at him to confirm if he heard it or not.
" Shall. Shall we go and eat? " She bites her lip, being super shy. Edward holds his laughter back, nodding. " Yes. Let's go!"
