" Your coffee, Boss!" Charlotte places a cup of coffee on the table before leaning a little to see what her husband is working on. She has been observing him working so hard, with no flaws at all. If she is honest with herself, She is really happy with him. She doesn't have any plan to involve any romantic relationship with her husband but she wants to protect this man as well. Her only family who never questioned herself, didn't disgust.
" What are you looking at?" He asked, smiling warmly. Charlotte didn't say anything, just smiled back. " I was wondering what you are working on. I won't disturb you, Boss!"
" Thanks. And It sounds good to have a female assistant calling me Boss!" He smirks teasing Charlotte.
Charlotte rolls her eyes. He never leaves her alone from teasing. " Please have your coffee. Call me if you need something!" She excuses herself but He again presses the calling bell.
" How can I help you, Boss?" Her face twisted, faking a forced smile. Edward laughs, waving her to come closer.." Mrs Rodriguez! I need your help. Can you help me out?"
She blushes and gets close to him to know what he needs. Sometimes she can't understand Edward at all. "What do you need? Mr Rodriguez!" She smirks back at him, sitting down.
Edward takes out files, placing them in front of her which makes her frown to know about it. She looks at Edward to get an answer. Edward pushes it towards her, saying. " Read this. Your first task as my assistant!"
Her eyes with knitted brows go on the files. She never handled something out of design, so she isn't getting comfortable with this file. Yet she doesn't want to fail her husband. So she opens the file.
" New life Nursing homes! I heard this name before!" she flips the next page to get more information until Edward places his hand on the file.
" Your first task is to visit this nursing home and gather all kinds of information about the old people there. Even their personal life. Everything!"
" Why? Why do you need to know about their personal life?" Charlotte frowns, most of them are retired old men and women. Why would he investigate their personal life?
" Just do it. After you visit there, You will able to get lots of options and my answers as well. Do it properly. Charlotte! It's very important!" He said in a serious tone. Charlotte understands that this task is really important to Edward. Overthinking, if he might have anyone who lives there or someone who is lost.
" But Will you raise my salary if I do it?" She smirks rapping on Edward's large hand. Edward grabs her hand, squeezing it firmly. " If my Assistant can do it properly. I will think about it!"
" I will do it better. Prepare my money advance!" She speaks stepping out.
" Don't you know what Salary is supposed to get at the end of the month or the first week of the month?" he shouts when she closes the door of his office.
" I am exceptional, Mr. Rodriguez!" she opens the door again, shouting.
Edward chuckles softly seeing her cutely walking out.." Cute Wifey!"
" Boss!" His secretary enters the room with silent steps. Edward goes back to his poised posture before giving his attention to the secretary.
" What is it?" He asked with a serious expression. His secretary hands over his device, letting him check.
" Someone saw that culprit who caused that accident two years ago. Should I investigate the matter?"
Edward zoomed the video to see someone. The video is footage of his two years ago accident when he lost his ability to walk. Although not everything is clear, he lost his most precious person.
" Do it. But silently. Don't let anyone know about it. Only you and I. No one else can know about it.." He orders silently marking some places in the video.
" Go and get the owner of that gas station," he added more.
" OK. And about the nursing homes?"
Edward leans on the chair, smiling.." My new assistant will work much better than you will.."
The secretary frowns, thinking something concerning.." Are you sure, Boss? What if she gets to know about that? She will have-" His words cut off when Edward shushes him. " I know what I am doing. She should know everything by herself. She deserves everything. I have no right to interfere. I will just lead her to the way where she can find the truth!"
The secretary didn't say anything. He knows his Boss is observant and intelligent. He knows whatever he is doing is the best.

Mr. Milestones hurried inside his bedroom when he wasn't able to find his second daughter in her room. He knows she will be with her Mom.
" Rachel!! Where are you?" He banged Open the door with anger. His eyes are bloodshot with anguish grit.

" Why did you mess with Rodriguez? Why did you insult your sister?" He slammed the door while raising his voice. Rachel who never believed that her father would shout at her, hides behind her Mom.."
