Charlotte quietly stands aside with the other employees. The manager shows their new Boss inside the office room.
From outside, She can see him through the glass wall. He looks calm and quite serious about the work. But she looks at the door when the manager opens the door.
" Hey! Who designed this dress model? Boss is calling the designer. Come inside first!
Everyone starts talking about the matter that Boss didn't even care about introducing himself but started firing the employee. However, Seeing the design, Charlotte slowly walks inside. She knows her designs don't suit here. She always gets rejected by her head manager
" It's mine!" she affirms entering the room. Olivia smirks folding her hands
" She always draws something gorgeous but Boss rejected her. Seems like this new boss will fire her this time.
" I know, right? Her designs are too much. She also doesn't know that we are not some rich company's employees.
Olivia keeps staring at them while enjoying the employee's comments on Charlotte. However, she is a little frustrated not being able to hear what's going on inside

Charlotte is standing with a calm expression. She is looking at her designs which are being checked by the new Boss
" You designed them!?" He asks with a serious and sharp voice. Charlotte just nods in response while hanging her head on her designs
" Boss! She is a little talented, But with our company's situation, It's not suitable. So we always rejected her designs. But she has done more beautiful work in our budget. So If you consider keeping her job and not fire-
" What's your name?" The Boss didn't even care about the Manager's words. He directly looks at Charlotte who is clenching her dress and looking at the table constantly

She walks out quietly, but little pain in her heart suddenly appears. She heads towards her desk but stopped by her co-workers.
" Did Boss fire you? It's okay. You did your best. Don't worry. We will meet
" Excuse me! You are blocking my way!" She says calmly but the employees found it embarrassing and move a little. However, Olivia walks approaches her while placing her hand on Charlotte's desk
" What did he say? What's his name?
" My name is Brian Hawks, The CEO of Hawks Corporation. And I am your new Boss!
" What? Hawks company? Do you mean we are going to be a rich company now?
One of the Employees excitedly shouts. Brian keeps his poker face but he looks at Charlotte who is collecting her design books
" Ms. Charlotte! Are you done? I need to head back now!
Charlotte nods as she gives the books to Brian's secretary
" Why is Boss taking her design books? Is everything okay?" Olivia frowns, questioning Brian with a flirty voice.
Brian looks at the notebooks and grabs one of them
" I found a gem here. So thought to use them. Anyway, Miss Charlotte if my Girlfriend loves one of them, I will reward you!
Charlotte looks shocked, biting her bottom lip, He is going to prepare her sister's wedding dress with her designs. What a luck!! But It doesn't matter anymore though. She doesn't care about it now
She nods giving a positive answer. Brian left with his secretary as if he knew that there was someone who Drew beautiful designs for gowns and he needed to come here personally to check them out
In the car.
Brian is checking all of her notebooks and constantly smiling. The secretary notices him smiling so fondly
" Seems like you have found a satisfying design for the dress, Boss!" He asks since It's not the usual occasion for him to see his boss smiling. Only Miss Rachel can make him happy
"Her designs are indeed top-level, but I found her a little adorable..
Hearing his statement, The secretary immediately looks at his Boss shockingly. He knows his Boss is loyal af but calling someone else adorable isn't something he is supposed to be heard from him
" Boss. You are going to marry Ms. Rachel and.
" Pfft. Why didn't she become a Mangaka? Her doodles are cute!" He laughs out loud. The secretary facepalms himself knowing that he just misunderstood him
" It's weird. She didn't give me one of her all notebooks! Few details are missing!
" I don't think she would bring it with you, Boss. She just gave you her designs, not the secrets of how she draws" He rolls his eyes, Seeing his Boss being crazy over useless things makes him feel goosebumps
" I am talking about her comic's first chapter. She might have accidentally given it to me. Charlotte?!! Did you find out about my ex-fiancee? Who did she get married to?
The secretary shakes his head as No. " I am handling your jobs, Boss! I have no time for this. Don't worry. I will send you the details when I get time!" He sounds sarcastic.
Brian rolls his eyes but keeps reading the rest of her notebook which she draws sometimes
At Afternoon
Suzy pouts while spinning on the bed after Listening to her Dad's storytelling
" Dadda! Where is the rest of the books? I want to read them. Mommy can draw cutely!
The Notebook, that Brian was searching for is here left by Charlotte accidentally. Edward pinches Suzy's nose, knowing that she will whine until she gets an answer
" You should ask your Mama about the rest of the book. Let me work!
Saying that, He tries to grab the laptop from the low glass table next to his bed but it is on the right side of the bed, he is sitting on the left side. So it feels a little hard for him to grab it. However, He can't ask Suzy to help him since she can't hold the laptop properly
" Here you go!" Edward looks at the beautiful hand that places the laptop in front of him. But he looks surprised seeing Charlotte standing right in front of him but he didn't hear footsteps sound
" Mama!!" Suzy gets up with the notebook. Edward smiles warmly shifting his eyes on her exhausted face.
" Thank you. How was your day?"
" It's okay. Just we got a new Boss. " Putting her purse inside the closet, She unties her hair. Later, walks inside the washroom
" Is Mama upset about something?" Suzy sits next to Edward staring at the washroom worriedly. Edward notices her face and complicated expression.
" Maybe exhausted! New Boss is always a little troublesome to handle!" Edward understands that He doesn't know a lot about her. But he can read her expression well. What makes him want to know her more and more? But Right now, She is looking down with mixed emotions
" Why are you two looking at the washroom like this? Is everything okay? Did I take too long time inside there?
" Mama! Are you upset? Why are you looking sad?" Suzy crawls towards her and looks up. Charlotte lifts her, leaving a small kiss on her face
" Why would I be upset? Mama is a little tired. I feel so good after seeing my little cutie pie?" brushing her nose and Suzy's, She makes Suzy giggle.
Edward meanwhile can't help but admire his wife
" Like mother like daughter. Adorable!" He mumbles watching Charlotte's cute and innocent play mood with Suzy. After seeing her notebooks and how she turns her moods and thoughts into some beautiful doodles, He can't help thinking of her being one of those doodles with cute expressions
When Charlotte is lost in playing with Suzy, After the entire exhausting day, She suddenly feels so energetic when she sees Suzy. She is adorable. But while playing, She finds someone's soft glare at her.
She looks away shyly, almost blocking her sight with Suzy

" Y.Yes.!!" She immediately responds
" Where is the other part of this notebook? Suzy loves it!
" Notebook?" When she saw the first part of her drawing notebook in his hand, She blushes immediately.
" You. You read it?" She asks blushing hard. No matter what she can't let Edward know about her childish hobby. Drawing doodles with her childish thoughts
" Yes. Dadda read for me. So cute. Mama! I want to read the next part!"
She sighs deeply. He already read it which means he knows her secretly being so childish. What if he hates her for being childish
" I love it as well. Why not give us the next part?
" OK. I will bring the next part. But don't you think it's childish? Everyone thinks I am being a busybody and drawing something stupid!" She sounds sad remembering some sad past
" I am not someone, Charlotte. It's beautiful and I appreciate your beautiful and cute thoughts. Suzy loves it too. Keep doing whatever you love to do. I will always be your fan!
His statement makes her stunned. This man, She just met yesterday but between the 24-hour gap, She already starts feeling so close to him. As if they're known for years and he is her only family who never let her go

" Master! Your coffee!" One of the servants enters the room with coffee and a milkshake
" Thank you.." Charlotte helps her to take the tray from her. The Servant slightly bowing, heads to leave the room but she again looks back watching Charlotte giving Edward the cold coffee. Her lips curve suddenly watching Charlotte being so relaxed.
