Raphael POV
I saw Krish sitting on the couch, reading intently, and was suddenly a little curious.
To my surprise, I stood behind him for a few minutes without any reaction from him.
I reached out and took the book out of his hand.
"Deep Learning?"
I glanced at the cover and smiled with interest, "Can you read it?"
Krish stood up and looked up at me with disdain in his eyes.
He was only about as tall as my waist and looked about the same age as Micah. Inexplicably, I stared into his eyes and felt a little shaken.
It was rare.
It was not often that I got this feeling of what I called "awe".
He said calmly, "What does this have to do with you?"
I raised my eyebrows, vaguely thinking that he was really like Micah, who always liked to read alone, but he wouldn't dare to be so rude to me.
Krish stood on tiptoe and tried to snatch this book back from him.
After I raised my arm a little, Krish couldn't reach it at all. He grunted lightly, a little dissatisfied.
I found it rather amusing in turn.
He stared at me and said coldly, "Give me back my book."
"Okay, but you have to answer a few questions."
I flipped the book open and asked, "What does deep neural networks mean?"
Krish narrowed his eyes, a little impatient.
I knew that he was very reluctant to answer my questions. But he knew that if he didn't answer, he wouldn't get the book back tonight.
I had just stared at his book and saw an interesting problem with deep neural networks that the book talked about. He must have been impatient to see the analysis.
He took a deep breath and said, "The key component of deep learning is deep neural networks, also known as deep neural networks. Such networks consist of multiple neural network layers, each of which extracts and transforms features from the data to gradually form an abstract representation of the data. Mr. Lancaster, do you know about AR and VR?"
I was obviously a bit surprised.
I thought Krish was just looking at the book for fun before going to bed and didn't understand it. I didn't expect that he actually knew what deep neural networks meant.
Krish must be a genius at machine learning. At least, he had already accumulated some knowledge to be able to read this book.
How old was Krish? If he is about the same age as Micah, he should be about five years old.
A five-year-old boy with such a high level of computer talent...
I only knew Micah was such a genius.
I closed the book and calmly said, "Are you also interested in AR and VR? Do you know how to achieve a more realistic virtual reality experience through deep learning techniques?"
I raised my eyebrows, expecting Krish's answer.
Krish glanced at me impatiently and said, "I'll just give you this book."
I smiled, "You can't learn computer well if you don't have enough patience."
I continued, "I'll ask you one more question about your Mommy, and then I'll give you back the book."
At the mention of Araceli, Krish stops in his tracks and looks at me warily.
He pursed his lips and said, word for word, "You better stay away from my mommy, or else..."
I interrupted him, "How do you think you would upgrade your mommy's research if it were you? Creaty is the most advanced AI in the world right now. Haven't you thought of upgrading it in conjunction with AR and VR?"
Krish, clearly interested, lowered his head and thought about it.
He pursed his lips and said calmly, "Of course. The combination of augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) technologies with artificial intelligence products allows for a smarter, more interactive and more realistic user experience. I'm currently working on target detection and tracking, pose recognition and gesture control, as well as on emotion analysis..."
He spoke eloquently, confidently and independently.
Somehow, I saw Micah in him. They were both really extremely similar and enjoyed the same areas.
Micah always wanted me to work with him on the AI side, but I was busy with work and never got to have a good conversation with him. After that, he never mentioned it again.
"Mr. Lancaster, are you satisfied with my answer?"
Krish finished, raised his eyebrows, and looked up at me without fear.
Few children would not be afraid of me. Especially when I was cold-faced, few children dared to talk to me, let alone answer my questions under pressure.
Krish was only six years old, and he could confidently express his opinions in front of me.
He was a genius.
I was very satisfied.
Before, I only thought Krish was a well-behaved boy who would take care of Valeria. But now, he showed another side altogether.
Standing in front of me was a boy with a unique personality, unwilling to be restricted, and eager to express his position. His eyes revealed a rebellious or disobedient attitude.
The boy was not as innocent as he appeared to be.
A child with too high an IQ saved adults from worrying, but could also do amazing things behind their backs.
If Micah could become friends with Krish, I thought Micah could also be restrained a bit.
But...
Did Araceli know that Krish had such a high IQ?
I threw the book over. He reached out, caught it, and patted the dust off the book.
I smiled, "Your answer is perfect."
Krish sneered at me, took the book, and went upstairs. He entered his room and locked the door.
The sound of the lock came clearly.
I sat on the couch, suddenly amused.
Essel also went upstairs. What could I do here alone?
I took out my phone, ready to check the news, but I couldn't watch it at all. I stood up, ready to walk around the house and take a look at the décor of this villa.
In the spacious and bright living room, soft lights spilled over the leather sofas, creating a peaceful and comfortable atmosphere. An exquisite coffee table was decorated with flowers and a carefully arranged art book.
I entered the kitchen, where the bright marble countertops were neatly arranged with stainless steel cookware. I walked up the stairs, and soft light illuminated the hallway. Carefully selected artworks hung on the walls, each one carrying a unique story and emotion.
I frowned slightly.
I found no trace of any man having lived in this house.
