Lycan King's Long-Lost Luna

Chapter 43

Ch. 43 / 119 Feb 24, 2026

Araceli POV

I frowned and looked over.

A little boy was sitting there.

I had just raised my head when the boy turned his head away. I could only barely see the side of his face.

His face was so familiar to me... And he looked so much like Krish.

Wait... I seemed to have seen him somewhere before...

I remembered!

My eyes widened as a flash of light came to me.

I was saved by this boy at Silver Group's new product launch that day.

His name was Micah, and he was also a werewolf.

I asked Eliezer to check Micah's whereabouts after that, but Eliezer said he couldn't find any information about Micah.

I remembered that he was also injured, so I always felt guilty about that.

I didn't expect to meet him here.

I explained briefly to Gavin and walked over to Micah.

After seeing me, Micah got up and walked out.

I frowned slightly.

His cell phone suddenly rang.

Micah picked up the phone and said something. The last thing I heard from him was, "Okay. I'll help you, Mom."

Micah hung up the phone with a cold look in his eyes. He stopped abruptly and stood in the doorway of the restaurant, as if he was waiting for me.

I shook my head, relieved.

With a gentle smile, I bent down and asked him, "Micah, hi. It's been a long time. Do you remember me?"

Micah looked up, locked eyes with me, and whispered, "Of course I remember you."

I knelt down and said, "Baby, thank you for saving me last time. Since we happened to meet today, do you want something to eat? Do you like ice cream? My daughter..."

"No." Micah interrupted me and stared at me, his eyes suddenly becoming sharp. "You only need to answer me one question."

I froze.

Honestly, Micah's eyes were imperial and majestic, like Raphael's.

In front of him, I dared to take a slight deep breath.

Every time I saw him, a strange, familiar feeling rose from my heart. I didn't know why, but I felt as if I had known him for a long time.

I put those thoughts behind me and said gently, "What's it?"

"Why do you want to hurt my mom?"

Micah's every word was like a blade, piercing into my heart.

I completely froze.

Micah had saved my life, so I was filled with joy when I happened to meet him.

Now, I noticed that Micah's gaze was filled with an icy chill.

A cold chill ran down my spine. I shuddered uncontrollably.

I pursed my lips and said coldly, "How do you know about it?"

"Melany is my mother."

Micah's voice was cold, his tone indifferent, and his eyes seemed like cold ice.

I admitted I was a little taken aback.

I opened my lips, my voice a little hoarse.

"Are you Melany's biological son?"

Micah nodded, his voice low. "My mother was mad at you and is now in the hospital. Are you happy about that?"

I looked at him, my heart trembling.

However, I remembered that four or five years ago, Melany wasn't even pregnant!

How could Micah be her biological child?

I shuddered and said, "Micah, can you tell me how old you are?"

"I don't want to tell you." Micah's eyes went cold. "You better stop this right now. Otherwise, I'll make you pay. Do you know what it feels like to be completely desperate?"

He glanced at me and headed out the door.

The coldness and indifference in his eyes seemed like a million sharp needles, stabbing at me without mercy.

After the fire five years ago, I hadn't feared anyone's eyes anymore.

But now...

This look was like a sharp pain that penetrated my heart.

I covered my chest, and beads of sweat seeped out of my forehead.

I took a deep breath and said as calmly as I could, "Micah, this is a private matter between me and your mother. You'd better stay away."

"No way."

Micah gave me a look, turned around and walked away. There was coldness and hatred in his eyes.

I somehow felt as if something very important had been taken away from me.

I stared at Micah's back, my face pale.

Micah was Melany's biological son...

How was this possible?

I was locked up in Eclipse's warehouse when he was born?

Could it be that Melany was pregnant at that time?

I made an excuse, spoke to Gavin and left. After that, I drove my car and went back to the studio to take care of some work.

In the afternoon, I picked up the two kids and drove home.

When I arrived home, I got a call from Eliezer out of the blue.

Eliezer asked me, "Araceli, are you free tomorrow night?"

I replied, "Yeah, but I have to pick up my kids. What's going on?"

"I'll ask the butler to pick up Krish and Valeria tomorrow, and you'll accompany me to a dinner party."

"A dinner party?"

I froze slightly for two seconds and put the ingredients I had just bought on the table.

Eliezer continued, "It's the most exclusive dinner party in New York, and only the richest families can attend. I'm taking you with me. It will help you a lot in the future."

I pursed my lips, thought about it for a while and smiled, "Thank you, Eliezer."

I knew that I had to meet more people since I had just returned to New York. I needed to socialize more in order for my studio to slowly grow and become known.

Krish heard me and came running from the living room, pulled my shirt, and said, "Mommy, don't worry. I'll take care of Valeria and myself."

His eyes were bright and full of tenderness, melting the gloom inside me.
