Araceli POV
I smiled.
If I could get the exclusive rights to technology back today, everything I did wouldn't be in vain.
I was sure it wouldn't be long before I got everything else back.
I smiled lightly, "Of course. Melany and I are sisters. It's nothing."
"Prepare the share and exclusive rights transfer agreements immediately. We'll sign them right now."
Carina whispered to the servant beside her.
Melany was ecstatic and said loudly, "Go! What are you still standing around for?"
Suddenly, a cold voice suddenly came from the doorway.
"What are you talking about?"
A tall figure walked in through the doorway.
He was wearing a black suit, like a king who defied everything.
I looked up and froze.
His face was so perfect.
As soon as he came in, Melany's eyes lit up.
I sneered.
It was Raphael Lancaster.
Why did he come here? What was his relationship with Eclipse?
Melany excitedly walked over on her high heels. "Raphael, you're here! Why didn't you give me a heads up?"
Raphael said, "It's none of your business. Yoselin, this is my gift for you."
He placed a delicately wrapped gift box in front of Yoselin and sat next to me.
I was a little confused, as were the others.
I had never heard the news that Royal Pack and Eclipse were engaged to be married.
The others in Eclipse were also very happy. if Melany really married Raphael, then Eclipse would develop better.
"Raphael, try this. It's very good..."
Melany sat next to Raphael and took a piece of chicken for him.
Raphael said coldly, "Don't you know I don't like chicken?"
Melany immediately apologized, "I'm sorry. Would you like some beef?"
I smiled, feeling funny.
Raphael glanced at me and said faintly, "What were you guys talking about just now?"
"Nothing."
Melany denied it in a hurry.
I thought about it, clicked my glass with my fork, and stood up.
I could tell that Raphael didn't like Melany. However, I suddenly had a plan.
In the current situation, I could use Raphael. Eclipse was shameless, but they dared not anger Royal Pack's Lycan King.
I said, "Mr. Lancaster, we were just discussing the shares of Eclipse Group. Oh, right, you can be a witness."
Raphael said with great interest, "Witness?"
"Araceli!" Carina interrupted me, "Mr. Lancaster has nothing to do with this. You don't have to involve him in this."
Zackary suddenly said, "Mr. Lancaster, I'm sorry. Araceli is Melany's sister. If you and Melany are going to be together, we have to take care of this first."
I froze, looked up, and saw that Melany had been staring at Raphael with affection.
Had Eclipse and Royal Pack set up a marriage contract?
No wonder Royal Group helped them when Eclipse's share price was about to fall to its lowest point.
I finally understood.
I said coldly, "Mr. Lancaster, I'm sorry. Then you won't be able to be a witness."
If he was Melany's fiancé, then he would be on Melany's side.
Raphael, however, was very interested in the matter.
He smiled and said, "Mr. Chancey, I'm afraid you're wrong. I never promised to marry Melany."
Melany's face turned instantly pale.
I frowned.
Melany's lips trembled, and she squeezed out a smile, "Dad, my relationship with Raphael is not that simple. Don't worry, and I will talk to him later."
Royal Pack was too powerful, so Zackary couldn't force Raphael to marry Melany.
Raphael continued, "Ms. Chancey, you may continue."
I frowned, completely confused as to what he tried to do.
I pursed my lips and said, "Mr. Lancaster, you must have heard something about me."
I gave a full account of what happened just now.
After the words, I said lightly, "Mr. Lancaster, do you think my request is reasonable?"
"No."
Melany's face showed a hint of ecstasy.
My expression went cold.
Sure enough, I should not have trusted this man. I had simply wasted my breath.
I was about to continue talking when Raphael's voice had already sounded.
"Mr. Chancey, if I were you, I would take back everything that belongs to me. That was your mother's legacy, so of course you can get it back. You don't have to give them your share."
I was stunned for a moment.
"Raphael..." Melany's lips quivered.
Carina smiled awkwardly, "Mr. Lancaster, Melany and Araceli are close. That's why Araceli is willing to give Melany her shares. It's between the two of them."
Zackary said faintly, "Is the share agreement and the transfer of exclusive rights to technology ready?"
"Yes, Mr. Chancey."
Eclipse's Beta, Jaron Brodrick, stood in the doorway with the documents.
Melany and Carina looked at each other. I saw anger and reluctance in their eyes.
Melany nods to Carina and suddenly smiles. She walked over and signed the agreement.
I was about to go over and sign when Raphael took the share transfer agreement and tore it up.
Everyone was scared out of their minds. I frowned slightly.
Raphael said, "I said you don't have to give them your shares. Don't you understand?"
No one dared to speak. I silently signed the technical exclusivity contract. Not long after, Zackary asked Jaron to bring over another contract. It stated that all of my mother's shares would be transferred to me.
I calmly signed and put the document away.
No one dared to contradict Lycan King, including my father.
Raphael was born with an overwhelming sense of power. I realized now that this was true.
It was as if everyone could only follow his orders.
The banquet hall was still bustling outside.
Carina said to Raphael as she ate, "Mr. Lancaster, do you have any plans for later? Melany can show you around our house."
Raphael sneered, "No, Mrs. Chancey. I know what you mean, but there's no way I'm marrying Melany. She's not the woman I want."
I heard his words and frowned.
Even I found that harsh, let alone Melany and Carina.
However, it was none of my business.
I raised my eyes and glanced at Melany. She was trembling and almost fainted.
I shook my head, got up, and said in a light voice, "I'm sorry. I had some urgent matters to attend to. I have to go now."
"I'll go with you."
Raphael stood up and followed me out.
He quickly caught up with me and walked out of the villa alongside me.
