Lycan King's Long-Lost Luna

Chapter 10

Ch. 10 / 119 Feb 24, 2026

Araceli POV

Melany's eyes widened. She didn't expect me to suddenly grab her neck.

"Araceli, what are you doing? Are you going to kill me?"

Her lips quivered, and her face turned pale.

I saw her sneak her hand into her pocket and press something.

I grabbed her by the neck even harder and said coldly, "Of course I'll kill you, but not now. What are you doing? Did you get someone to follow me to try to kill me?"

"I didn't!" Melany denied.

Seven or eight men rushed out the next second and surrounded me. They were all her bouncers.

She actually brought so many people here to kill me.

I couldn't shift because I'd lost contact with my wolf since I had babies. I didn't know what was going on.

I said coldly, "Melany, come on. Don't be silly. Wait, are you shaking? Don't be scared. It won't hurt."

Melany screamed and said, "That hurts!!! You crazy bitch! Dad would kill you if he knew you did this to me!"

There was a thick chill in my voice. I whispered into her ear, "You're wrong, Melany. Your stupid father will throw away everything he doesn't need when he faces crisis. However, the sad thing is, he doesn't need you anymore now. He helped you before because he wanted to kill me and get Eclipse Group, you idiot."

Melany's eyes suddenly opened wide, as if she was overwhelmed by boundless trepidation.

I grabbed Melany's neck and walked inside the garden. Melany kept screaming and almost passed out.

Those men didn't dare to do anything rash and kept following me.

"Araceli, it doesn't make any sense. We can talk..."

"Shut up, bitch," I said coldly.

Melany gritted her teeth and didn't say another word.

I looked around.

Damn it!

Behind me was a dead end.

But, beside me, there was an open dumpster...

I quickly came up with a good idea.

Melany let out a big laugh, "Araceli, you're dead now! Go on, kill her!"

Those men were about to rush me.

I suddenly grabbed Melany's neck tightly. She screamed out in pain.

I sneered, "Melany, tell them to back off, or I'll have to shove you in this dumpster."

Melany winced and didn't say a word.

I sneered, "Well, you don't stand a chance now."

I let go of Melany's neck and pushed her hard.

Melany let out a scream. The next second, I yanked her by the back of her collar.

She opened her eyes and realized how close she was to falling into the dumpster. It reeked, and her face was close to the garbage.

She clenched her fists in a death grip and screamed, "Get back! Back off, all of you!"

I looked up and saw those men look at each other and take a step backward.

I let go of my hand, grabbed a handful of ash from the ground, and threw it in those men's faces.

The dust got into their eyes instantly and made them unable to open their eyes.

I turned around, looked up at the not-so-high wall, and climbed up by stepping on the dumpster.

I looked down, saw Melany struggling in the dumpster, and smiled coldly.

Melany broke down and screamed.

"Help! Help me!"

Melany was choking by something and coughing like crazy.

With a sneer, I jumped off and ran into the forest.

I looked up and was stunned.

The sky was blue, and the sun was shining.

The sunlight was spilling through the leaves and onto the ground.

It was really beautiful.

"Find that bitch! I'm going to kill her!"

Melany's screaming voice came.

I turned my head, but quickly frowned slightly.

Some of them had climbed over that wall to get to me.

I rushed forward.

Damn, a tree branch hooked my clothes.

I heard footsteps getting closer and closer, so I had to rip my clothes and keep running forward.

I ran for a while and heard someone talking.

I looked up and saw an estate. It looked as magnificent as a castle.

I had heard of this place. It was Falori House.

Falori House was the place for the old money in New York to relax and gather. The people here were all wealthy and famous.

Two men rode their horses and admired the view.

"Raphael, the view here is really nice. Do you come here often?"

Damn it, it was Raphael.

The man glanced at Raphael, smiled, and got down from his horse.

I looked at them and was slightly stunned.

Raphael was dressed in a hunting suit. The sunlight fell on him, making him look like he was glowing.

I walked over quietly and heard Raphael say, "Royce, you need to get out of the house more often."

Royce suddenly exclaimed, "Jesus Christ, is that a woman or something?"

I was speechless. Now that I'd been seen, I didn't want to hide in the woods anymore, so I walked over.

In the sunlight, I shook my hair.

The breeze blew against my face. I felt comfortable.

Royce shouted, "My goodness! She's so beautiful! Wait, Raphael, do you think this woman looks familiar?"

However, I glanced at them, indifferent.

"I definitely know her!" Royce said, wide-eyed, "I've seen her before!"

I looked around and was wondering which direction to go.

Suddenly, I heard footsteps and looked up.

Raphael was walking toward me.

I froze and did my best to hide the panic inside.

He took off his suit and draped it over me.

"Raphael! What are you doing? You're a man with children!" Royce shouted.

My face went cold when I thought of Raphael's smug attitude yesterday.

I frowned. "Thanks, but I don't need it."

I was about to take his jacket off.

Raphael's eyes were cold. He said, "If you're not afraid of being seen by those men up there, you can walk naked."

I frowned and said, "Mr. Lancaster, I'm not walking around naked. I had clothes on."

He raised his eyebrows and pointed at my clothes.

I looked down and saw they were torn. I flushed, hesitated and didn't take his jacket off.

I coughed twice and asked him, "How much is this?"

Raphael's voice was a little surprised. "Are you trying to pay me?"

"Sure, Mr. Lancaster. Since you gave me your jacket, of course I'm going to pay for it."

I took my wallet out of my pocket and tossed a wad of bills to Raphael.

"Mr. Lancaster, you don't have to feel embarrassed. Just take it."

I said and walked away without looking back.
