Lycan King's Long-Lost Luna

Chapter 9

Ch. 9 / 119 Feb 24, 2026

Araceli POV

I pushed open the door of the meeting room and slowly walked in.

Melany turned her head and sneered coldly, "Is this how Silver Group treats its partners? I've been waiting here for close to half an hour..."

Melany's eyes widened when she saw me.

"Araceli? Shit. How can you..."

Melany's voice trembled, and her face was pale.

Although she hadn't killed me herself, I knew she must be terrified to see me again now.

"It's been a long time, Melany."

I walked in and sat down on the couch.

I smiled coldly, my eyes endlessly cold.

"Are you really Araceli?" Melany shivered violently. "Holy crap! You're still alive!"

"Yeah, my dear little sister. I'm not dead, and I'm back. Wait, why do you look so scared of me?" I said calmly, "Come on, don't be like this. Do you think I'm going to kill you now?"

I lifted my chin, and my eyes sharpened.

I saw Melany clench her fists hard. I raised my eyebrows gently and thought it felt so damned good.

She suddenly lowered her voice and cried softly. Her tears fell instantly. "Araceli, I can't believe you survived. It must be a miracle. I'm so happy. I've always regretted what I did five years ago, and I really shouldn't have left you alone in the warehouse that night. Dad and I all miss you so much. You really should come back with me to see him. Dad would be so happy to know that you are still alive."

I sneered coldly.

Would a father who really loved his daughter put her in a warehouse for eight months after she was already pregnant?

The truth was that my father and my dearest little sister conspired to kill me to get my shares.

I said, "Melany, listen carefully, I will get back everything that belongs to me, one by one. You can be ready from now on. It's like a chronic disease that doesn't strike quickly, but you know one day you'll die from it."

Melany was startled by the look in my eyes and stepped back.

I continued to say, "Do you remember my two babies? They were killed by you. I assure you, you will share my pain in the near future."

Each of my words stabbed her like a razor blade.

Melany's eyes widened. As if she thought of something, she smiled insidiously.

Melany said slowly, "Araceli, the twins were born dead. How can you say that I killed them? Speaking of which, do you remember your mother's ruby necklace? I know where it is."

I got up and grabbed Melany by the collar. "Where?"

"At Boland Graden. How about this? I'll take you there tomorrow."

Melany said carefully, hiding the cunning in her eyes extremely well.

I narrowed my eyes. "OK. I'll meet you outside Boland Graden tomorrow morning. Now, you can get the hell out of here."

Melany turned and left the Silver Group in a huff and frustration.

I walked to the lounge.

Krish was playing a game on his laptop.

I knew the room was monitored, so I communicated with him using mind-link.

"Krish, I need you to get all of Eclipse Group's client info."

"Copy that, Mommy."

Valeria sat on the couch, playing with her little doll, completely absorbed in her world.

Krish turned the laptop on, his fingers tapping on the keyboard. The computer screen turned blue, and lines of code appeared.

He made a copy of all the client information on the website and then sent it to me.

Immediately afterwards, Eclipse Group's official website crashed.

I entered their client information into Creaty APP on my phone. Soon after, Creaty sent threatening letters to every company on the list in an anonymous form, asking them not to work with Eclipse Group anymore.

I smiled coldly and guessed that Eclipse Group must have received numerous calls about this by now. Perhaps many scared partners would ask to be released from their contracts.

I didn't have to worry, because no one could find out the address of Creaty's domain, which changed every half minute. This was a brilliant idea that Krish came up with. He had set up servers all over the world.

This was just a small lesson, Melany.

I would make you pay a bigger price.

Suddenly, Valeria was drawn to something and came over.

She was staring intently at the laptop screen, but I knew she couldn't see anything.

What was she attracted to?

Krish was about to turn the laptop off, but Valeria stopped him.

Valeria moved closer to the screen.

A man's face appeared on it.

He was Raphael Lancaster, the man that we had just met on the road.

Valeria seemed particularly interested in this man.

Krish asked, "Valeria, do you like him? Wait, can you see anything?"

There was no response.

I narrowed my eyes.

Valeria couldn't possibly know him, but she seemed to be able to sense some connections with him.

I frowned, turned off the laptop and took them out of the office.

...

Early the next morning.

The air was slightly chilly in the early spring morning.

I left the two children to Veronica and set out for Boland Graden.

I had just left the house when Krish's voice sounded behind me. "Mommy, be careful."

He was frowning, and his eyes were full of worry.

I didn't know why, but I also had a bad feeling in my heart. He should have sensed it too.

I smiled at him, "It's okay. I'll be back soon."

I drove the car Veronica had prepared for me.

Boland Graden was located in a suburb of New York. I drove for over an hour to get there. Just as I got out of the car, I saw Melany walking toward me wearing a long red dress.

"Araceli, you're here."

Melany had a sad look on her face. I sneered, finding it ironic in the extreme.

I said coldly, "Lead the way."

Melany walked, sighed, and said, "Araceli, it was Dad who buried your mother's necklace here by hand. He loved you and your mom very much. After you died in the fire, he wept with your picture almost every day."

"Is that so? Then why didn't he come with you to see me today?"

Melany froze for a moment, but she continued to explain, "I told him yesterday that you were alive. He was overjoyed. But last night, his heart disease flared up again, so he went to the hospital early this morning for a checkup. Dad was afraid he would break down after seeing you, so he didn't come today. Araceli, I can take you to see Dad at the hospital later."

I didn't respond to her.

Melany led the way as she spoke. She and I soon walked into the graden.

Melany's voice was low as she said, "Araceli, your mother's necklace is buried at the end of this trail. Please follow me."

I sensed something was wrong, but I didn't say anything and followed her with a cold face.

The place here was overgrown with weeds.

Melany was still walking inside.

"That's enough." I stopped in my tracks and said with coldness, "Where are you taking me?"

Melany turned around and was still smiling, "Aren't we going to find your mother's ruby necklace?"

"Melany, don't you think I don't know what you're up to." I sneered, "Don't play silly games with me."

"Araceli, take it easy. I just forgot which way to go. We'll take our time and find it." Melany was still smiling, but there was evil in her eyes.

This bitch was still lying to me.

Then there was no point in wasting my time here.

I raised my hand and slapped her across the face. She screamed and cried.

I rolled my eyes and said, "If you dare to lie to me next time, I will not hesitate to kill you."

Then I turned and left.

"Araceli, what are you doing? I said I'm taking you there!" Melany panicked. "It's just ahead!"

However, my steps didn't stop.

I had just taken a few steps when I heard a rustling sound.

It seemed like someone was sneaking up on me.

I narrowed my eyes.

Five years ago, Melany tried to kill me with a fire. Five years later, she actually wanted to do the same thing again to kill me.

What a dumbass!

Almost instantly, I turned around, rushed over quickly, and grabbed Melany's thin neck.
