Lycan King's Long-Lost Luna

Chapter 11

Ch. 11 / 119 Feb 24, 2026

Araceli POV

A group of men immediately surrounded me.

Raphael saw it and came over.

I was surrounded by them, but I didn't feel the slightest embarrassment.

My eyes fell on each of them.

All of them were from wealthy families. I had seen them before when I went to socials.

Their eyes were filled with shock.

I said coldly, "Get out of the way."

"OK, but you have to tell us your name and give us your number. Then we'll get you out of here," A man grinned, coming closer to me.

I sneered and kicked him in the balls.

He screamed and fell to the ground.

I kicked him out of the way and stepped away.

The others were too shocked to stop me.

I left Falori House, wrapped the hunting suit tightly around me, and walked down the road to get a cab.

I got into the car and saw the driver keep glancing at me in the rearview mirror.

The driver dropped me off in the villa area of the Upper East Side. I paid the money and walked inside.

A soft voice rang out behind me.

"Ms. Chancey!"

The voice was familiar.

I turned around and saw a cute little girl standing behind me.

She was the little girl I had met at the airport the day before. I remembered her name was "Essel".

How did she know my last name?

I was surprised and said, "What are you doing here?"

Essel looked at me and ran over anxiously.

I looked behind her, and there was no one there. I frowned. "Did you sneak out again?"

"No!"

Essel denied it without even thinking about it.

I smiled. She snuck out again.

She pursed her lips. "My favorite doll, 'Coco', is missing here! Ms. Chancey, can you help me?"

There was no way I could refuse her, so I said, "What color is it?"

...

I took Essel and searched for a long time but couldn't find her doll.

I finally realized that I could have been tricked.

I stared at Essel coldly. "Are you really here to find your doll? Wait... Do you really have a doll named 'Coco'?"

Essel didn't dare to look at me, so she had to lower her head. Her cheeks turned pink, and she looked very cute at this time.

She didn't say anything.

I knew I guessed right, so I said, "Essel, where do you live? I'll take you back now."

Essel suddenly burst into tears. "I've been looking for you for a long time, Ms. Chancey. I don't want to go home."

She stared at me stubbornly.

I didn't know why I suddenly felt a little sad.

I sighed as I knelt down and said softly, "Okay. Maybe I can sit here with you for a while. However, Essel, you'll have to go home later. Otherwise, your parents will really worry about you."

Essel stopped crying, blinked her big eyes, and looked at me.

Her eyes looked exactly as beautiful as Valeria's, clear as two jewels.

She rushed over and hugged me.

I was caught off guard and almost knocked over by her.

I picked Essel up and said, "Hey, Essel, Look, there's a Ferris wheel over there. I think you can ask your parents to take you there next time..."

The sound of footsteps suddenly sounded behind me.

Before I had time to react, I was surrounded by many sturdy men in suits.

A tall man slowly walked out from behind them.

It was Raphael Lancaster.

The look in his eyes instantly sent shivers down my spine.

Essel's body also tensed immediately.

I patted her back, raised my eyebrows, and said, "Mr. Lancaster, what a coincidence. This is the second time I've seen you today."

Raphael looked at the suit I was wearing. It was the one he had draped over me two hours ago.

His eyes narrowed, and in them was endless anger.

There was sarcasm in his voice. "You did all this to get close to me and my family, huh? What a crazy woman! Put my daughter down immediately!"

I frowned. Was Essel his daughter?

She looked four or five years old. I hadn't heard of his marriage in all those years when I was in New York.

Essel cowered in my arms, terrified.

I snapped back, patted her back gently, frowned, and said coldly, "Mr. Lancaster, I should be the one to ask what you're doing barging in here with so many people. This is a private residence."

He and I looked at each other, but I was undaunted.

Raphael sneered, glanced at me and said coldly, "Essel, Daddy is here. Come here. I'll take you home."

Essel shivered. Her little face turned even paler.

"I'm going to count to three. If you don't come over, you know what the consequences will be."

Raphael's face was as cold as ice, and his eyes were filled with impatience.

Essel clenched her fists and jumped out of my arms grudgingly.

Raphael picked her up by the back of her collar and threw her into the arms of one of the bodyguards behind him.

He turned around, ready to leave.

Suddenly, Essel cried, "Dad, I'm sorry I slipped out to find Ms. Chancey. She had nothing to do with it! You can punish me, but please don't give her a hard time..."

I laughed, stood up and looked at Raphael." Your daughter is lovely, Mr. Lancaster. However, I am not afraid of what you might do. You can make things difficult for me, but don't forget that I can do the same to you."

Raphael stared at me and said, "I don't know where you got the news that I have a daughter, but you better not tell anyone. I advise you not to try to hurt my family, or I'll go after your daughter."

I sneered and stared into Raphael's eyes. He could threaten me with anything, but not my daughter.

I said, word for word, "Mr. Lancaster, if you want to hurt me, I suggest you better stay away from my daughter. Otherwise, you will regret it for the rest of your life. I swear, if you do, I will make you suffer for the rest of your days."

I glanced at him coldly, turned around, and walked away.

Essel's cries came. I didn't know why, but I felt my heart ache for a moment.

I shook my head and headed for home.

...

I returned to Eclipse Pack's villa in a mess.

When I opened the door, Krish stood up in a hurry. "Mommy, what happened? Why are your clothes torn?"

He frowned, his eyes flustered and worried.

"I got lost in the forest. Don't worry, honey. I'm fine."

I rubbed Krish's head and walked towards the bathroom.

I came out of the shower, and Krish brought the hair dryer to blow-dry my hair.

Valeria sat on the carpet and played with a puzzle.

Half an hour passed. Suddenly, the silence was broken.

Evelin's voice came from far away. "Arthur, listen, when you see Grandma later, if you cry, I'll slap you hard."

I frowned and headed for the door. As soon as Evelin opened the door, I stared into her eyes. She subconsciously shivered, scared.

She shouted angrily, "Araceli, you bitch. You're still living in my house? Get the fuck out of here!"

I said coldly, "Evelin, this is my grandmother's house, not yours. And you better treat me with some respect. If you dare talk to me like that again, believe it or not, I'll cut your tongue off."

Evelin rolled her eyes and walked into the room.

Valeria, who had been sitting on the carpet, suddenly stretched out her leg.

Evelin tripped and fell to the floor. She landed on her forehead, and her head was covered in blood.

She touched her forehead and saw that her hands were covered with blood. Suddenly, her face turned pale with fear.

The next moment, Arthur burst into tears. He screamed at the top of his lungs.

Veronica came up with her cane, her face full of anger. "Evelin, take your son and get the hell out of here! Didn't I tell you not to come to my house? Are you deaf?"

Veronica was furious.

Evelin shivered with anger. "Grandma, I'm your granddaughter! This bitch has set me up twice. I didn't do anything wrong, Grandma! You have to believe me!"
