As they arrived at the location. It was a hotel, probably a new hide-out for Damon, Diana thought, since she's new to this site. They stepped down from the Limo as Damon's personal guard opened the guard and followed them afterward. Diana marveled at the luxury appearance. Of course she expected such luxury, but the fashion sense is something giving Antonio, not Damon. “This is our new hideout from now on, it's safe, you don't have to worry about anything.” Damon said as a uniformed man took off his suit. Diana's lips widened in a smile. It felt good to hear him out her into his plans. “It's spectacular you have a great taste of fashion”. She replied as they walked into the hotel. She could see a lot of highly trained Mafia men around every corner ,and recognized most of them as Antonio's men. How did he get them to be on his side? Damon is definitely cooking up something and she loves it. “Damon, this is… incredible,” she smirked, her gaze sweeping across the opulent decor. “I had no idea you were this….this unpredictable.” Damon chuckled, his eyes gleaming with pride. “I am mysterious alright,” he said, his voice low and smooth. “And this hotel just so happens to be one of my more… lucrative ventures, for now…it's the safest hide out until the deed is done.” Diana's eyes lingered on the sparkling chandeliers, the marble floors, and the lavish furnishings. “It's like a palace… I am impressed, what a fashion taste you have, Damon Montero,” she whispered, her voice full of wonder. Damon paused and looked at her in a certain distasteful way, it made her feel a bit uncomfortable. “Did I say something wrong?” She asked sincerely curious. Damon forced a smile. “Not that I blame you”. He touched her hair slowly and curled it with his finger sending chills down her spine. “You see it's a privilege that I have chosen you to be by my side as I conquer the Montero's … However.. I expect you to be at least smart enough to understand… I am building my own legacy…the Montero's world will be mine…I am not part of their failed family, you got that?” Diana chuckled awkwardly as they hold their eye contact, unsure if she's excited or scared, maybe a mix of the two. “I am sorry, it was a mistake.". “Ofcourse mistakes happen, one.. Mistake is tolerable”. Damon smirked, sensing her fear, then he dropped his hand from her face. He stood up straight with both hands spread out wide in pride. “In other words, welcome to my world…the new era… The Damon's!” Diana clapped tiny like a proud wife. She smiled and walked up to him, a hand on his chest. “And I am glad to be part of it”. She said seductively and leaned for a kiss. “That would wait”. Damon dismissed her, she stepped back in disappointment. Just then one of the uniformed men approached him immediately with a message which he delivered to Damon in a whisper. Making it completely hard for Diana to hear them. Diana rolled her eyes, but her gaze never left Damon. She knew that Damon was hiding her, she can't trust him completely. He is not stupid enough to reveal his entire plan to her. But she was willing to play along, for now because she had a feeling that this was just the beginning of a very wild ride. Damon was down with the messenger, he took out a giant cigar from his pocket and had his personal guard lit it for him. While Diana walked few feet behind them. Suddenly, she felt a bit left out, but she had to be strong, emotionally strong. This is not the time to feel ugly, old and unwanted, but to feel desperate and focused. Damon is no child to be manipulated and definitely nothing close to Antonio. He is very unpredictable. So she had to keep her head up in order to handle him. He maybe the man, but she is older and should misbehave like one. They finally arrived at an elevator door which will take them to the first floor. The guard pressed the button and the elevator door opened. Damon stumped on the cigar and stepped into the elevator. “You wait outside”. He instructed the guard. The guard bowed and stepped aside as instructed. Diana walked into the elevator coldly and the door was shut. Damon eyed and noticed her body language. What could she be planning? “You are quiet”. He spoke this time softly, that tone surprised Diana. She looked up at him in surprised, then flushed and looked away. “Well, you act like I don't worth your time then, like I was invisible few minutes ago”. She frowned, her two hands wrapped around her body. “Haha!” Damon laughed out loud, exhaling a smoke. “You don't act your age when you are horny, I see…you may be smart enough to manipulate Antonio, but you are still a woman… Dying for affection”. “You can say whatever you like……my heart was wrong…for choosing… Someone who will never love me the same”. Diana sobbed and bit her lips. Damon gave her a side glance. “You all are so dramatic, we have an important thing ahead of us…and you are dreaming of love? I expected more from you, Diana”. “Like you said I may be that Diana, but I still want to beloved, to be adored…I am still a woman!” Diana snapped back. Damon rolled his eyes. “You know someone did all that, then what did he get….betrayal?” He smirked. Diana felt that but not because she was guilty but coming from Damon it hurts in a way. “Don't make me the bad guy here, you know why I betrayed him… Damon! I did it for you…I don't care about him, but you!” She yelled this time then she looked away holding back tears. “Fuck me”. She cursed beneath her breath. The elevator stopped, and the door opened to an enchanting corridor. Damon stepped out of the elevator and so did she. “Fuck you? Was that a cuss word or a request?” Damon asked, with a glint in his eyes….a glint of something that Diana would label as amusement.
