Don't toy with me: sexiest man of the year

WILD AND FURIOUS

Ch. 221 / 312 Apr 03, 2026

Antonio's jaw clenched in frustration. “But what, Carlos? Speak, you moron!” he demanded sharply, locking eyes with the man who had never faltered in his loyalty before. “Have you overlooked something? Or are you telling me there's nothing else you useless bunch of fools can do?!” He barked angrily. Carlos swallowed heavily and hesitated, choosing his words carefully. “We're still exploring every avenue, sir,” he replied with a trembling voice. "But lady Diana…”. He paused, seeing the tight frown on Antonio's face as a reaction to the honor he attached to Diana's name. “But… Diana seems to have disappeared without a trace, I think there are people among our men working with her”. Antonio knew that alright, but he had more important things to face now. Damon is behind it all. Good thing for that brat. He is yet to show his face at the mansion since Diana exposed his deal with Angela. “I don't pay your assholes to think, there are people working with her, fish them out and Angela! Where is Angela?” Carlos was silent, his heart racing heavily. “Lady Angela…… There's been no breakthrough on her case, sir,” He admitted reluctantly. “No one seems to have any information on her whereabouts, nor that of her brother and the twins. It's as if they've disappeared without a trace.” Antonio's temper flared, a surge of anger coursing through him. His chest heaved with each breath. He walked back to his desk and sat down, taking a heap of white substance into his nostrils followed a very loud insane laugh. The men secretly exchanged glances at each other, not a new scene but definitely one of the scariest, they had observed. In a swift motion, Antonio swept a stack of documents off his desk with a loud growl. The papers scattering like leaves in a storm. The room suddenly fell silent, except for the soft rustling of the pages as they settled on the floor. With a heavy jam of his hands on the desk he stood up. “You fools had one job!” Antonio seethed, his voice filled with disappointment and barely contained rage. “Find her. Do whatever it takes. Double the surveillance,” He commanded, his voice loud and commanding. “Yes sir”. The men shouted in unison with their faces bowed to the earth. “Triple it if necessary. I want every avenue explored, every contact revisited. Find her and that bitch Diana. Tear this city apart if you have to and I want her alive. Most importantly make sure Angela is safe! If anything happens to her…you all are dead meats.” His men stood stoically, each one had their fists clenched in terror. They knew the consequences of failure under Antonio Montero's command. This ruthless and Merciless fox is out of his mind, he can even eat them alive, literally. They all bowed and left with horrified looks on their face…probably concerned about their fate if they failed again. Antonio stood at the same spot with his hands still pressed on the desk. He could feel his hands trembled slightly, a rare display of his vulnerability betraying the storm of emotions raging within him. “They can't find Angela….” He murmured to himself in doubt, his eyes filling up. The memory of Angela's infectious laughter replayed in his mind. The time they shared those hot intense kisses and love making sealed with promises. However, that's not all. She had always been the one person who saw through him, who challenged him to be better, to do better. She healed him and he felt alive again. He felt love….real love. And now she was gone. “There's no way she did all that to get back at me, I need some explanations, where the hell are you!” “Ha! You always drive me crazy don't you?” He laughed out hysterically. He swept a hand across his face then stared down at the hands, it seems to be trembling even more now. “You better be alive…I don't care where you are…you can't run away from me. I will find you….to the ends of the earth… I will tear this bloody world down, and I will get you…” he seethed aloud, though there was no one left in the room to hear his declaration. His mind raced with thoughts of the possible hideout location of Diana. “She's everything to me, And you—” he paused, the venom in his voice thickening, “You dare not have a hand in her disappearance, you have damaged me enough your blonde bitch…I am fucking talking to myself…I am losing it!”. Suddenly, he remembered Angela's Doris. He went through his old chats with Jace. The teenager had mentioned Doris's home address. “Why haven't I thought of this? That twink bastard is also ignoring my calls all this while…I thought he was on my side.” He picked up his phone and he barked orders to his personal guard. “Get my ride ready. Now.” His voice was sharp, cutting through the air with the authority of a man accustomed to instant obedience. Outside the Montero's mansion, under the cold glare of the moonlight, his black SUV awaited him. The night air was thick with tension as Antonio emerged from the mansion, his tailored suit impeccably pressed, his dark eyes ablaze with a mix of anger and fury. The uniformed men stood at attention, sensing the gravity of the situation. They knew better than to upset him even more when he was in this mood. Surprisingly he had no one sent to the Montero's clinic for the past hours. That's unusual. Although Grandma Elizabeth had a hand in taming him. Doors were held open, engines were started with a low rumble that seemed to reverberate through the stillness of the night. Antonio climbed into the back seat, his mind racing with thoughts of Angela working with Damon. He still doesn't want to believe it. She had her reasons, she must! He needed answers, and he needed them now. The Montero's mansion gates blurred past as the SUV surged forward, followed by his convoy. Antonio took a deep breath, secretly hoping she will be there and safe.
