Brooklyn was exhausted when she woke up the next day.
She didn't get much sleep.
She noticed the bed was empty and she frowned, wondering where Harry was.
"Morning, babe." Harry exited his bathroom with a towel slung low on his waist.
Brooklyn's eyes wandered for a moment before she replied. "M-morning."
"Sleep well?" Harry asked. His smirk told Brooklyn that he knew the answer.
"Not nearly enough," she grumbled and rubbed her eyes.
"Sorry," Harry shrugged.
"No you're not."
"No, I'm not," Harry agreed and turned his back on Brooklyn and opened his wardrobe. Her eyebrows raised when he dropped his towel and she couldn't help but appreciate his ass. He had a nice ass.
"Thanks," Harry called as he pulled on his underwear.
"W-what?"
"Thanks for the compliment."
"I..."
"You said it out loud, babe," Harry shrugged and he smirked to himself.
"I didn't... Did I?" Brooklyn gasped.
"Yes," Harry lied and pulled a white tshirt over his head and a pair of sweatpants.
"Crap," Brooklyn whispered and Harry chuckled.
"You can shower here if you want," Harry said and turned round to Brooklyn.
Brooklyn hugged the bed covers closer to her. "I haven't got any clothes to change into."
"But I have," Harry said and ran his fingers through his damp hair. "And it wouldn't be the first time you wore them."
Brooklyn narrowed her eyes, but nodded slowly.
"There's a clean towel on the side and a new toothbrush in the cupboard under the sink," Harry said and pointed to the bathroom. "I'll be back in a minute, I just need to check on something."
Brooklyn nodded and Harry left his room. Brooklyn quickly rushed from the bed into the bathroom, screwing her face up when it was a little sore to walk, and looked at herself in the mirror. Her makeup was a little smudged and her hair ruffled, but she didn't look as bad as she thought.
Brooklyn showered quickly, washing all of last nights makeup off. She paused when she picked up Harry's shower gel, but used it anyway.
"Oh my gosh," she whispered, thinking back to last night. She couldn't believe it.
She never thought she'd ever be able to do that again. She thought she'd be scarred for life.
The idea of doing it with another boy scared her, but not with Harry.
The only thing that scared her about Harry was her feelings towards him.
Brooklyn cut the water off and stepped out of the shower. She grabbed the towel from the side and wrapped it around her. She looked around the bathroom and shook her head.
One thing she had noticed about Harry was that he was very neat. His room didn't have many personal belongings and it seemed very cold.
Brooklyn quickly dried herself and roughly towel dried her hair. She brushed her teeth and spotted Harry's spray deodorant on the side and used some before making her way back into Harry's room which was still empty, but there was a pile of clothes on the bed that was now neatly made.
Brooklyn picked up the black tshirt and slipped it on. There were a pair of boxers that seemed too small for Harry, but were still quite big on Brooklyn. The shirt covered the underwear and stopped just above her knees.
Harry entered a few minutes later and Brooklyn was standing in front of the mirror, combing through her damp hair with her fingers.
"You look better without all that shit on your face," he said and Brooklyn raised her eyebrows.
"Thanks," she said sarcastically.
"You looked nice last night," Harry shrugged and walked up to Brooklyn. "That dress was..." Harry smirked. "But I much prefer you like this."
Brooklyn looked at Harry in the mirror, not sure how to reply.
"Come on, lets go downstairs," Harry said.
"Why?"
"Because you need food."
"I... er... I think I should go," Brooklyn said.
"After breakfast, besides it's still early," Harry said and Brooklyn chewed on her lip, but nodded. "Just a warning, a lot of people live here, so you might see some people," Harry said as they walked out of his room. He placed his hands on Brooklyn's waist and guided her through the large house.
"Harry!" A woman called when they entered the kitchen. "Morning."
Harry nodded to the woman, she was middle aged and had dark hair.
"Oh, who's this?" The woman asked, smiling at Brooklyn. "It's not like you to bring girls home."
This comforted Brooklyn.
"This is Brooklyn. Babe, this is Laura, Greyson's mother," Harry said.
"Um, nice to meet you?" Brooklyn said and Laura looked between Brooklyn and Harry.
"Is she..." Laura stared at Harry who nodded. Laura grinned. "It's lovely to meet you, Brooklyn. I was just making some breakfast, would you two like something?"
"Oh, I'm fine-"
"That'd be great, Laura," Harry nodded.
Brooklyn narrowed her eyes at Harry who ignored her.
"We'll be in the lounge," Harry said and gently nudged Brooklyn through the kitchen and into the lounge. Harry slumped down on a couch and Brooklyn sat down, making sure there was a gap between them.
"Greyson's mother is nice," Brooklyn said.
"Surprising isn't it?" Harry said.
Brooklyn nodded and played with her fingers, looking awkwardly at the ground.
"It's not like you to be lost for words," Harry said.
"We had sex," Brooklyn blurred.
"Is that what we did?" Harry wondered and rolled his eyes at Brooklyn. "Yes, babe, we did."
"I had sex," Brooklyn whispered.
"You're shocked," Harry said.
"What the hell do you do to me?" Brooklyn groaned. "I swore to myself that I would never go near a guy again, but then you come along and ruin everything! But I'm not scared! Your touch doesn't scare me! And that scares me! I just, I-"
Harry grabbed Brooklyn and pressed his lips to hers. She moaned softly and kissed him back, getting lost in his touch.
"No!" She gasped and pulled back. "No! You don't get to do that to me! You don't get to just kiss me and think everything is okay! Your touch doesn't do that much to me!"
"Are you sure?" Harry questioned.
Brooklyn glared at him. His touch did that and more.
"My head is just all messed up!" She groaned.
"Do you regret it?" Harry asked. "I want the truth, Brooklyn."
"I don't think I could regret it," she whispered. "Harry, please take me home."
"Eat first."
"I want to go home."
"You're going to stay here and eat first," Harry said sternly.
"You don't get to tell me what to do," Brooklyn frowned. "What if I don't want food?"
"After a night of drinking, you need food," Harry said. "You're staying here until you've eaten."
"No, I'm going home and you're going to take me."
"Just do as you're told!" Harry snapped.
"No, you stop telling me what to do!" Brooklyn argued. "Just because we had sex doesn't mean you can start bossing me about! It was just sex!"
"Just sex?" Harry repeated and narrowed his eyes. "Is that all it was to you?"
No. "Y-yes," Brooklyn gulped.
"I don't know what makes me angrier, the fact that you would lie about that or the fact that you would think I'd believe you!" Harry yelled.
"I'm not lying!" Brooklyn protested.
"Bullshit! You lie constantly about your feelings because you're fucking scared and have never felt this way before! Just deal with it, Brooklyn! It's different! Fucking accept it! It's not like you hate what you're feeling!" Harry shouted and rose to his feet.
"I want to hate it!" Brooklyn yelled, standing up to face him. "You're an ass! Everyone at school is scared at you and I have bitches coming up and slapping me because they think I'm using you! I try and avoid you, but it never fucking works because it's like I'm drawn to you in a way I can't explain and it scares me! I don't want to accept it!"
"Why the fuck not?" Harry snapped.
"I've just told you why!" Brooklyn exclaimed.
"Being scared isn't an explanation!" Harry yelled. "We had sex. That is a fucking big deal to you, but now you're going to go back to ignoring me, like it never happened! Don't be a bitch, Brooklyn! Just stop running away!"
"I'm a bitch? I'm a bitch because I'm scared!" Brooklyn gasped. "I was raped Harry! I was raped multiple times a day for a week! Because of that I'm scared! You can hardly blame me!"
"But you're not scared of me!" Harry exclaimed. "My touch doesn't scare you! It makes you want more! Just fucking accept it! You even said that you liked me!"
"Stop telling what I should do! And I didn't say that to you!" Brooklyn shouted.
"This is going round in fucking circles!" Harry hissed and Brooklyn stepped back when he span round and punched the wall.
She had never seen him this angry.
"Harry-"
"Don't talk!" He snapped and grabbed Brooklyn, pulling her flush against him and crashing his lips to hers.
Brooklyn melted under his touch and she kissed him back. It was like she had no control and all she wanted was Harry.
"This," Harry growled and tangled his fingers in Brooklyn's hair. "You like it."
Brooklyn forced herself to pull away when Harry kissed her again and she turned her head. "I-"
"You can hide and deny this for however long you want, but I'm not giving up. When you decide to stop running away from your feelings I'll be there," Harry said into Brooklyn's ear. His tone was firm and Brooklyn gulped.
"Take me home, Harry."

Brooklyn had called an emergency meeting round her house. Her aunt and uncle worked every other Sunday so they weren't home and Brandon was out.
Brooklyn had filled them in about everything that had happened, including the argument, but minus the sex.
"So you spent the whole night at his and did nothing?" Sasha said finally, not quite believing Brooklyn.
"Ah, well... not exactly," Brooklyn said.
"Called it!" Alice yelled.
"What happened?" Violet asked.
"It just happened. I'm not a slut, I don't do this with guys, but Harry... He's different," Brooklyn said quietly. "We had sex."
"Finally!" Sasha cried. "No wonder he got so annoyed! Why are you making such a big deal out of it, girl? This is a good thing! You two finally did it!"
Brooklyn sighed and rubbed her eyes. "There's a reason I don't get close to guys," she said. "I know I've not known you girls long, but I trust you. I need to show you something." Brooklyn stood from her bed and walked over to her wardrobe and found the shoe box. She placed it on her bed and took the lid off. With a deep breath she took out the newspaper clipping and held it out.
Sasha was the one to take it. Her eyes widened immediately and Brooklyn watched as she read it carefully.
"Brooke..." She whispered.
"I don't want sympathy," Brooklyn said quickly and Sasha passed the newspaper clipping to Violet and Alice. "I don't want to be treated differently, but I just wanted you to know."
"Shit," Alice gasped.
"When did it happen?" Violet asked softly.
"Last year," Brooklyn told them. "It's why I freaked out at the party when Josh grabbed me. It's why I don't get close to guys."
"Because you can't," Violet said. "You're scared, aren't you?"
"The thought of them touching me makes me feel horrible and-" Brooklyn stopped herself. "I swore to myself I'd never let a guy hurt me again."
"But you can clearly touch Harry," Sasha frowned.
"And I want too," Brooklyn whispered. "His touch doesn't scare me. The way he's making me feel does."
"But if you like it then surely that's a good thing?" Violet frowned.
"It should be, but I just can't accept it, and he's getting angry," Brooklyn groaned.
"Maybe you should try," Sasha said.
"Just give up. Harry is one of the most stubborn people I know. He wants you and he won't give up," Alice shrugged.
"I happen to be pretty damn stubborn myself," Brooklyn grumbled. "And I won't give up. I can't just give in after all this time fighting it."
"You're making my head spin," Sasha sighed. "Brooklyn, we all know what's going to happen in the end."
Brooklyn looked at Sasha and bit her lip.
"Could you see yourself with him?" Violet asked.
"I... I don't know," Brooklyn sighed. "He... I... I don't know."
"In other words, yes she can but she just doesn't want to admit it," Alice smirked and Brooklyn narrowed her eyes at her ginger friend.
"What about you and Austin?" Brooklyn asked, getting the subject off her and Harry. She looked at Sasha who blushed.
"Nothing major happened, we just kissed," she said quickly. "End of subject!"
"She's screaming like a One Direction Fangirl on the inside," Alice whispered and Brooklyn chuckled.
"Come on, let's get out," Violet said. "Let have a break from boys and have a girls day."

Brooklyn hadn't thought of Harry the whole day. She arrived home that evening after a day of random girl talk and no boys.
She ate dinner with her aunt, uncle and Brandon, showered after dinner and climbed into bed with a hot chocolate. As she was lying in bed her mind couldn't help but wander back to the previous night.
After the whole day of trying to forget about Harry, she fell asleep with him on her mind.
