CEO's Genius Triplets

Tantrum

Ch. 14 / 178 Feb 27, 2026

Climbing the stairs, Samantha seized the opportunity to strike up a conversation, "Is your nephew named Noah?"

Ellena, without any guard, spoke frankly, "Yes, his full name is Noah Steele."

Samantha followed up, "And when is his birthday?"

If Ethan had no other illegitimate children, then the only possibility was the twins.

Ellena still had no guard, "The ninth day of September..."

Unfortunately, before she could finish, Ethan interrupted sharply, "Ellena, do you remember my warning?"

Ellena pouted and glared at him, sticking her tongue out playfully at Samantha.

Samantha, however, felt a sudden tightness in her chest, shocked.

Noah's birthday is in September.

When she adopted Alexander, it was also in September.

The months matched.

But because Alexander was adopted, she wasn't sure of his exact birthdate; they always celebrated together with Charlotte.

Could Alexander really be the twin of the person upstairs?

Ellena was oblivious to her reaction, pulling her to Alexander's door and politely knocking, "Noah, open up. It's Auntie. Auntie has come to see you."

Inside the room, Alexander was sitting cross-legged on the floor, still busy with the computer, trying to contact Noah. Ignoring the sounds from outside.

Seeing no response from the room, Ellena, puzzled, asked Ethan, "Is Noah not in? Why isn't he responding to me?"

Ethan frowned, forcefully pounding on the door, "Noah, open the door."

Still, there was no sound from inside.

As if there was no one there at all.

Ellena looked at Ethan in confusion, "Could Noah not be at home?"

Ethan pressed his thin lips tightly.

How could Noah not be at home?

He had just come out of his room.

If he didn't open the door now, he must be throwing another tantrum.

Since returning from the mall yesterday, Noah's personality had undergone a huge change, becoming completely different from before.

Samantha couldn't help but speak, "Did he fall asleep?"

Upon hearing Samantha's voice, Alexander sitting in front of the computer jolted, quickly looking towards the bedroom door. He noticed the door wasn't locked, and his blood froze instantly.

He immediately set aside the computer on his legs and rushed to lock the door. Unfortunately, he was a step too late; the handle had already been turned, and the door slowly opened.

Startled, Alexander broke out in a cold sweat, swiftly rushing to the bed and hiding himself under the blanket.

At the same time, the door opened, and three people walked in one after another.

Samantha's eyes lit up with anticipation to see Noah, but all she saw was a small lump on the bed.

Ethan felt a dull pain at his temple. Weary, he rubbed his nose and walked to the bedside, calling out in a deep voice, "Noah..."

Alexander, recognizing Samantha's voice, pinched his nose and replied, "Get out. I don't want to see you."

Ethan's brow furrowed, "What are you up to again?"

Playing the stubborn card to the extreme, Alexander replied, "I just don't want to see you. Get out, or I'll keep myself covered in the blanket until I suffocate."

After an overwhelming anger, an unprecedented sense of powerlessness followed. Ethan, irritated, turned to leave.

However, Ellena refused to leave, sitting by the bedside, pulling at his blanket, and coaxing him with a smile, "Noah, it's Auntie. Don't you like playing with Auntie the most? Come out quickly; Auntie will take you out to play in the afternoon."

Unyielding, Alexander responded, "I don't want to go out. You all leave quickly, or I'll get angry."

Ellena finally sensed something was wrong, looking at Ethan with concern, "Ethan, what's wrong with Noah? Is he sick? He's talking more today than he usually does in a week."

Ethan, with a handsome yet gloomy face, said, "We're leaving."

"But..." Ellena was worried about Noah, feeling that something was off about him today, making her uneasy.

Samantha also felt something strange. The figure hiding in the blanket gave her an oddly familiar feeling, somewhat similar to Alexander.

"Out!" Ethan issued the final command.

Reluctantly, Ellena and Samantha stood up, and the three of them left the room together.

Upon hearing the door close, Alexander lifted the blanket with one foot, revealing big, round eyes. Confirming the room was empty, he immediately locked the door and leaned against it, exhaling a sigh of relief.

That was close.

Almost slipped up.

He wondered how Noah's investigation was going.

Today, he managed to avoid exposure, but what about tomorrow? The day after tomorrow?

Sigh!

So annoying. Why did he have to encounter this?

Could it be that he and Noah were truly separated twin brothers? Why had he never heard Mommy mention another brother?

Given the resemblance between him and Daddy, they were undoubtedly father and son.

So, how did Noah end up with Daddy?

Alexander couldn't fathom it.
